@ Sammy Gonzalez Thanks you for watching 👍👍 We have a video coming out soon where we do a mod to the ECX Torment. Great truck not sure if it is still available😢
Hi, Thanks for the video. I bought in in 6-2018, currently it has the 5th motor as it burnet out 4 motors just because I drove it only on the beach sand. I don't recommend a brushed motor on sand at all! Thanks
Mohamad Hasan Thank you for the support! Two totally different platforms but I'll try to answer as best as possible. Both are capable on the sand but will need some mods. I have not driving this on sand but have driven my 2wd vehicle. The tires are going to be you biggest issue. For a SCT I would suggest paddle tires. It is going to make a huge difference. Without that it is a completely difficult to drive on sand. For the Crawler it is capable but depends on the sand you are driving on and the amount of torque you are displacing. I've found that very fine sand like we have on Long Island it is challenging but capable. Hope this helps.
would you recommend this as a good beginner r.c? or save up a bit more and get the Senton 6s? or save more and get a 4x4 traxxas? im having alot of trouble deciding on what to buy. this looks like a tough r.c and reasonably priced compared to other 4x4's, I'm in new zealand the prices of these cars are almost double in NZD compered to USD Cheers
MAGGOTKnees This kit is great for a beginner but if you are looking to learn about the hobby, regarding upgrading making the kit your own, there is not much to be done on this kit at this time since it is a new kit. As for the Senton 6S, way too much for a beginner. The Traxxas Slash 2WD is a good starter with tons of upgrades. Also the ECX line of kits is good for beginners. Not too much direct upgrades but there are some adaptable parts that will work on it.
MAGGOTKnees I'm new to the hobby and u bought this truck a few days ago. This truck has plenty of power for a begginer. I recommend investing in a few s2 lol 5000 batter packs with a fast charger. Overall awesome truck for $250
@@devinw9698 This should work. www.horizonhobby.com/product/spur-gear-45t-mod-1-2-all-1-10-4wd/ECX232019.html?gclid=Cj0KCQiAoab_BRCxARIsANMx4S58Js0VG6T4Xj8_IVdP2hOH0I0gz_lpqd0yhDs1mSla1gBCBUKVN00aAnzXEALw_wcB
Jeff Borowiak Totally agree. I've done several running videos and a final thoughts video on this truck. I only ran this on Lipos. NIMH is not even worth it. Thanks for watching!
@EL Valenin This is the 4x4 brushed edition. I've since converted mine to brushless and made it into a Monster Senton. If you have time check out my more recent videos on this truck.
Is there gonna be no Senton Blx 6s V3?body looks great, wheels too but rest looks cheap and disappointing . chassis plate didn't look metal like my 2# V2s.so they made the Talion better and the Typhon improved and made Senton slower and less powerful but inproved its looks......?no blx 6s Senton really?
bobaque70 Yes there is a a Senton 6S BLX v3. Body shape looks similar to this 1/10 scale Mega. This is Arrma's Mega series. It's the 4x4 answer to their 2WD trucks. This is more of a 1/10 scale kit where as the Senton BLX 6S is 1/10 scale with 1/8 scale electronics, suspension, hubs, etc...Here is a link to the new Senton. www.arrma-rc.com/rc-cars/latest/senton/blx
hyelife11 I haven't looked into one yet. Still enjoying the brushed setup. I wouldn't recommend anything too powerful. Maybe a 60amp ESC with a 3300kv motor to start.
Savage Charles Durability I can not answer on since I do not own the Slash 4wd and have converted my 2wd Slash to a Pro-line 2wd buggy. Would not be fair to compare this to the 2wd Pro-line since I put a lot of hopups on it but the Arrma Senton Mega is a tank and Arrma on a whole puts out some of the toughest rigs on the market. You will not be disappointed with an Arrma.
Allen Boyd two things I learned with my first RC; the ECX TORMENT 1/10 scale 2WD are that it’s worth buying a hobby grade charger as it charges those batteries in under an hour. Second, spend the extra $$ on a LiPO to get that extra run time and speed. Both make this hobby more enjoyable.
Arrma seems to be getting better and better! Each model has some very useful upgrades. It’s big too!
@Braden Wingham True👍👍
Thank you for being honest, and not showing car chassis cause it's dirty

That thing looks like a beast!
Amistry20 Thanks for watching. You got to see this truck in person. Pictures and videos do nothing for it.

Mohamad Hasan Sand can be rough on RC parts.
Im excited to see this thing run
Rc Addict Thanks for watching!
Hi,
Very grateful to you for the video. Which one is better on sand that doesn't get stuck, short course or crawler?

I bought my girlfriend one as a gift and we had great luck with it, pretty reliable for $200
Shade and Magnus I'm glad you guys enjoy it. It's a great truck. Any plans on making it brushless?
Just got my new spur gear on back order after months of waiting. Put in 2s system but need to up my pinion for more speed but it is one tuff Sc rc. ✌
Brent Humphreys That's great news. You are going to love that brushless power.
Which one do you think is more durable, the Senton or the Torment ?
Both tough trucks. That Torment has taken a lot of abuse and survived.

awesome thanks for the info, helps narrow down my options a bit :) .
I have been looking into kits also, I would mainly be running the rc offroad
traxxas slash

Cool looking truck good comparison 👍
Noeys FastRc Thank you for the support brother!👍
Hey i just picked up a used ecx torment and I have no spur gear
@Devin W
WHAT?! Can't believe someone would not disclose that.
Yeah got it cheap tho fairly new..but. I u have a clue what spur gear I can fit in my ecx 4x4

Gonna get one and pop in a 2s system! 👍
It will love it
What a beast. I have climbed steep hill with ease. Buy a Lipo Bat. The Ni is good for 10-12 mins.
Jeff Borowiak Totally agree. I've done several running videos and a final thoughts video on this truck. I only ran this on Lipos. NIMH is not even worth it. Thanks for watching!
Is it the 4x4 blx one with brushless other than brushed?
@EL Valenin This is the 4x4 brushed edition. I've since converted mine to brushless and made it into a Monster Senton. If you have time check out my more recent videos on this truck.
@@ReadySetRC sorry, I wanted to ask if it's the same as the brushless one but with another motor
@@ELValenin The chassis layout is the same but there are adjustable links and beefed up components on the BLX model to withstand the additional power.

Have you done a running video yet?
Coming very soon.
Ready Set RC waiting on you bro lol no 1 has an actual running vid 😎
What brushless motor will you recommend for this Rc car ???
hyelife11 I haven't looked into one yet. Still enjoying the brushed setup. I wouldn't recommend anything too powerful. Maybe a 60amp ESC with a 3300kv motor to start.
Can I still drive this through mud puddles probably about 2” deep?
Why😂🤣
Ready Set RC cause I wanna get something I can have fun in the mud in besides a crawler
@@potatosalad6524 gotcha
Nothing to do with the original badass Senton 6s. This looks more like a Slash very disappointing. Good video.
RCLegion Thank you for watching.
Is his better than a Traxxas 2wd slash?
Savage Charles Yes this is better than the 2WD Slash. If it came brushless I would say it is better than the 4WD Slash.
Ready Set RC so it’s more faster and more durable than the slash?
Savage Charles Durability I can not answer on since I do not own the Slash 4wd and have converted my 2wd Slash to a Pro-line 2wd buggy. @Gioxtream Huh?
4 hr charge for 15 minutes of run time

@Allen Boyd Don't use wall chargers if that is what you are using.
Really?😂🤮 Only 30mph??

It's brushed not brushless.
