I totally agree! I believe you can do partly this using some NRASS mods (I’d have to check which!!) but I get you! I wish that was a more seamless process baked into the game 🥲
@@downtheLimbus i’ve played the game for over a decade. I’m tech savvy especially in TS3. I’ve done all tweaks, third party tools, DXVK… and you can’t deny that 5 year old save runs way slower than brand new one. The game is build on spaghetti code that’s even more constrained in 32bit environment. The game can’t use more than 3.7GB of RAM and properly utilize 4+ core CPUs.
my problem is that ive been doing this for years so i've pretty much done every single thing that i'd enjoy doing in the game. im taking a few months off cuz i honestly just dont know what to do, sucks that it feels repetitive. ive been playing since 2012 so i'm sure i'll get over it eventually lol. sims 4 is not a good replacement, i also find myself bored and aimless in that game but always have been from the start.
That is very valid; taking breaks is important!! Making this list made me realise how little of the game I’ve actually explored despite playing it for so long, but if you’re more of an adventurous player than me - I’m not surprised that you feel like you’ve turned every stone!🧡
I wasn’t too familiar with the Hart family so I just checked out their story… so glad you are giving BeBe the life she deserves 🥹 would love to hear more about her story as you progress!🧡
Omg what a coincidence I’m currently playing with them and gave her a good life and her parents kept having kids (4), they were constantly rolling wants for kids 😭
I hear that! After playing in a save for a while, my game does that too! Definitely check out the smooth patch mod from Lazy Duchess, as well as Regul’s save cleaner which can help with save bloating. I’m not an expert in this area but plenty of other simmers have made videos to help with optimising the game for newer machines 🥰🧡
Always save as, use nraas master controller to reset everything once in awhile and you can download world fixes if you mostly play non custom worlds, it solves route issues
honestly the sims 3 would NEVER be boring if sims were able to love to new towns without losing progress/relationships

@@YasminsCorner NRAAS Traveler is the mod you'll need to achieve that. It will allow you to travel to any world/sub-world installed. 👍
TS3 would never get boring if the performance in 40+ weeks old saves were as good as week 1 performance.
@@ProtectusCZ regul safe cleaner helps with that a lot

Omg I also feel that with not feeling motivated past the first gen!
Ts3 isn't ugly, especially if you lean into the cartoony art style.
Would you mind sharing your own 'never done before' list with us?
thank u for ur videos!! i loved this one a lot
Hey Mutie, thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the video 🥰🧡

I would love to play the sims 3 again but it lags too much. Any solution for running the game in newer computers? T.T
