Cosmetic chemist here. I would not use YTTP’s product esp if SA is crystallizing. Indicates an unstable formula, most likely because it is so acidic or some ingredients are causing pH drifts
Very interesting. Do you think not screwing the lid on tightly enough and/or hot steamy bathrooms may contribute to destabilisation of otherwise stable products? 👱♀️❤

@@nadab4750 the "get out the door faster" part is SO accurate. I recently cut all my hair off too, from down the waist to a pixie cut. My showers are 5 minutes and I get ready in 10! 🤣 true - living in the U.S. far away from any beach, I didn't grow up having beach days. I still played outside nonetheless; and as any kid, resisted my mom putting sunscreen on me 😂 I have surmounted damage from being raised in the generation where the tan skin look was glamorized. I used tanning beds in high school - of course, now I won't even drive long distwnces without wearing a long sleeve, sunscreen, and driving gloves. I think the best way to describe my angle and strategy is preventive care, at this point, early 30s, so the decade of sunscreen avoidance and chemical makeup products being caked on my face, I kicked my butt into gear!! Also, I am not demonizing makeup wearers, its moreso the distasteful ingredients that makeup companies used/use that we just absorb all day. I dont know which particular chemicals get thru the skin barrier to have a legitimate health hazard effect in terms of blood to brain, so I have stopped it in general. And, by way of trying to remain consistent, I also avoid eating any food dyes and whatnot, just so my efforts are not canceled out 😜 On Dr. Dray, I completely agree. She has changed my life. I went from using grotesque fragrance and dyed products and awful astringent every day, to what she has suggested (after finding what works best for me) and my skins response was phenomenal. Mind you, I've only had a consistent Skincare routine since 2020.
Thank you so much for these vids Dr Dray and thanks for debunking myths and misinformation!! Before I get a skincare product I always check to see if u have reviewed it!
The YTTP adaptogen deep moisture cream is really nice, I tried it a few years back and was happy enough that I repurchased it several times (I liked it so much that I tried one or two of their other products for which my feelings ranged from meh to hating and returning). The moisturizer is unscented, never clogged pores, has glass packaging with a small plastic top (the minimal plastic, recyclable container that could easily be repurposed was a selling point for me environmentally), and it was very moisturizing in a balancing way that left my skin feeling plump and youthful without feeling like there was anything sitting on my skin. It wore really well under makeup, I used to wear it under Purlisse BB/CC cream or Ilia skin tint. The jar has a lot of product and it always lasted me a long time, and my skin was really good while I was using it. If you want to spend the money, have a gift card to burn, or are just looking to splurge, it is a really nice, non-offensive moisturizer (but it does NOT contain sunscreen, so you will need to wear sunscreen over it).
I went to Sephora to find a tinted spf foundationy|cc cream and tried a bunch and didn’t like any. Then bought Rodial skin tint. Hands down Rodial skin tint is the best! Smooth, protective and feels so good. Doesn’t emphasize wrinkles. It’s just so good. Happy Monday! 💕💕💕

GR looks cute but I’ve never really seen results from the few products of theirs I’ve used. I think you’re paying more for the packaging than the product.
Thank you for your consistent and thorough reviews especially on Glo-recipe. I hear never-ending hype on it, esp the watermelon drops. I continue to pass on it. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
I agree Kelly. I love my Neutrogena RWR and Hydroboost too. I also have noticed if I put my CosRx Snail Mucin Essence on in the morning (before my sunscreen) it gives me a "hy-Dray-ted" dewy look with no need to highlight my cheekbones. (Ignore this if you are vegan). I always wait until there is a discounted price before buying my skincare products. 👱♀️❤
I bought the glow recipe strawberry serum, started to get some nice results but than realised it was causing sensitivity in my nose because of the scent. I e-mailed them and their response was that they use "natural flowers and fruit as fragragrance". So no help there lol.
Have you tried the Isle of Paradise self-tanning drops. I put the drops in sunscreen or in a foundation that was too light for me. You had spoken of Dermablend, putting a few drops in sun screen but I found that transfers whereas this one doesn't. My concern is; does it hurt the value of sunscreen. I purchased it at Sephora. What I like about it is you can control the degree of the depth of color. Many times I only use one drop, but in the summer to drops. I appreciate the value of your information immensely. Thank you, June Elizabeth

Can you review the Vegamour anti- gray hair serum? Is there any evidence that its ingredients work for reducing gray hair? They just started selling the brand at Sephora.

I trust Dr Dray as.a board certified Dematologist and because she isn't spruiking her own line and gives her honest opinion on products that she has been gifted and rejects any offers from sponsors who's products she doesn't believe in.

And, by way of trying to remain consistent, I also avoid eating any food dyes and whatnot, just so my efforts are not canceled out 😜
On Dr. Dray, I completely agree. She has changed my life. I went from using grotesque fragrance and dyed products and awful astringent every day, to what she has suggested (after finding what works best for me) and my skins response was phenomenal. Mind you, I've only had a consistent Skincare routine since 2020.
Me too!!
I love this - it’s pretty much me walking around Sephora, but knowing what’s worth buying. Please keep doing these!
Omg I love your sunglasses. Love you Dr Dray. You are the only.honest dermatologist in this world 🌎
I have the plum pump and I love it. It makes my skin feel soft and hydrated for hours. I have the exact same hat in beige and navy.
I love shopping with you! Please do more of these.
Staying to listen about skincare...but that tank top and sunglasses look soooo cool 😎❤
Is Shiseido a good skincare brand? Do they have good effective ingredients? Can you do a video on the brand please
Thank you so much for these vids Dr Dray and thanks for debunking myths and misinformation!! Before I get a skincare product I always check to see if u have reviewed it!
Thanks for watching
I quite like Walmart’s skincare section. They tend to have a lot of the stuff I can’t seem to find in most CVSs and they also have the equate dupes
Happy Monday
Did you try the Tower 88 tinted spf?
@@TheMzny I don't think she has but The Budget Dermatologist has recommended it in one of her videos.
@@db-gb5xi it’s really good
@@TheMzny I've seen several channels recommend it like Dr Alexis Stephens, Penn Smith Skincare and even AliceintheRabbitHole.
Your the only dermatologist I trust your words are so honest but no brutal! I was looking into a new skincare brand that is recently trending called numbuzin a Korean skincare brand. I want to try it out but I’m scared it will do harm. Do you think you can do a review on that brand please and as well as netrogena hydro boost face cleansers
Because of my extremely sensitive skin I've never had any holy grail products until I met the Laneige water sleeping mask and cream skin toner & moisturizer. My skin can't get enough, especially now that I'm using trentinoin. If you haven't tried it you need to get the samples!!! I use stylevana for most of my Korean skincare, they have 15ml for both.
Doesn't it have fragrance? I have a sample but have been afraid to try it!
@@sonjaforrester9255 yes the sleeping mask does, but I use it after regular moisturizer (instead of Vaseline) but the cream skin doesn't have fragrance. And not all fragrances are created equal so maybe there won't be an issue.
@@sonjaforrester9255 the Laneige cica sleeping mask doesn't have fragrance and it's soo good
Shop with me videos are my favorite.
It looks too expensive 💰 just by the thumb nail 😂😂😂 I’ll stick with Aveeno , Cereve , Cetaphil and Laroche- Posey 👍 20 dollar 💵 range ! Quality and effective !
I know guava and cream cheese, haven’t had since I was a kid but love it!! I live in Miami, plenty of place to get guava and cream cheese pastelito, IMO the best… 😋😋😋
Yum...I'll put that on the menu.

I got the Glow Recipe Plum Plump serum once on a “treat yo’self” splurge. It didn’t do a thing for my skin. Zero difference. The Ordinary’s hyaluronic acid serum worked better. GR looks cute but I’ve never really seen results from the few products of theirs I’ve used. I think you’re paying more for the packaging than the product.
Wow, this is good to know. Thanks for this!
Dr Dray would you consider reviewing more items from the milk makeup skin care brand?!
They have quite a long line of items
Thank you for your consistent and thorough reviews especially on Glo-recipe. I hear never-ending hype on it, esp the watermelon drops. I continue to pass on it. 🙌🏻🙌🏻
You save me so much money with these videos 🙌🏽
Video request: Hello Dr Dray!! Could you please make a video on beard rash from another person?
In Australia we call it "pash rash"..from being to passionate!
👱♀️❤
Can you review some more make up like ILIA (it seems to makeup plus skin care). Is it worth the money and how beneficial it is for acne prone skin?
I just feel like I can get awesome results with my Neutrogena RWR cream, and Cerave products, for half the prices of these products.

Dr. Dray your videos continue to help me more, More....!!!
Cream cheese, guava paste and a little honey and pinch of salt. Heaven.
Soft cheese like Brie
Yep, delish. Guava paste and white cheese. Delicious!
I hear nice things about Rare beauty. Might try to buy something next time I'm in Sephora.
Milk had a lash enhancer serum with CBD I think. It burned my eyes so bad I never wanted to try any of their other products.
I bought the glow recipe strawberry serum, started to get some nice results but than realised it was causing sensitivity in my nose because of the scent. I e-mailed them and their response was that they use "natural flowers and fruit as fragragrance". So no help there lol.
Am I going to buy something at sephora now? Happy Monday Dr Dray and peeps ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
😆
HAPPY MONDAY REED ! XOXOXO

I rlly love the laneige water sleeping mask
I would love your thoughts on the Viori shamphoo and conditioner bars.
Very limited brands n stock ......I will have to go only for the Oat cleansing balm....like u Dr dray I too love it. Thanks
In the Sephora clips, the store’s music was very loud and your music over it made me go a little crosseyed. I’ve been watching for years and never seen this, just thought I should mention in case you didn’t notice 🥰 Hope you’re well!
Hi Dr Dray, just love your videos! I have the same problem with sunscreen going in to my eyes! I tried applying my sunscreen then using a translucent powder around my eyes!
It’s seems to work!
Hey Doc, I absolutely love seeing Sephora Vlogs as I’m from the UK 🇬🇧 & we don’t have them here in England 🏴 so I always just love to see it.
Love Tia xxx
Hi Dr. Dray, love your videos! I’m 54, not a newbie to acids. I bought the OH Dewtopia…OMG, it ate my face off. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin but that stuff made my face red and raw. Bad juju 🙁
"Ate my face off" was a very funny quote, but not funny for you. Imagine what it may have done for someone with less tolerant skin? 💀☠

Can you do a video about the difference between retinol and retinal and different retinal products?
I love Sephora but I haven’t seen anything super exciting launch recently..I have been wanting to try the ole henricksen lemonade scrub and as much as I know lemon can be irritating, Theresa is dead swears by it so I want to try it! I do enjoy a physical scrub and can tolerate it fairly well.
Got a sample of the laneige water sleeping mask and while it feels great on the skin it’s really just a glorified moisturizer
Can you review the Vegamour anti- gray hair serum? Is there any evidence that its ingredients work for reducing gray hair? They just started selling the brand at Sephora.
I love cleansing balms and I personally hated the oat cleansing balm. It’s feels like Vaseline, doesn’t remove makeup well and leaves a film on the skin. Prefer Farmacys cleansing balm.
That color looks amazing on you!
Thank you Dr Dray for doing this type of video. I don't shop at Sepora, too many testers, and overpriced products. I purchase drug store products at least they are sealed and are affordable Have a good day everyone 🙂
You do know you don't buy the testers right? Your comment about sealed products doesn't make any sense.
@@luvlost03 I am aware that tester's aren't for sale, why would anyone buy these or even try them in the store's and risk their health?
Your JCP Sephora is nice….mine is 👎🏽 but they have also lost the Sephora contract and the plan is to move to Kohls…so the shelves are bare and they’ve stopped carrying a lot of brands!
That colour looks fantastic on you :)

Can I use skin fix cleanser and moisturizer for a long period of time?
Dr. Dray, what is your take on the trend of DNA repair enzymes in skin care?
Just goes to show not every derm agrees on everything. Dr Shah of Doctorly preferred the laneige to the tatcha lip mask. He did also say though that cerave healing ointment or aquaphor are just as good.
