@@RAWRMotorsports what can be done to an 80cc lifan engine. I removed Governor but no parts upgrades available. What do you suggest? Upgraded carb? Port & polish? Or what engine has interchangeable parts for it? Educate please. No video for 80cc lifan engines.
Back in the early 80's I installed full length valve guides to take out the valve wobble.

Yes .. an engine is an engine ... any wet sump engine will benefit from the same mods
How much compression did you loose was there an actual gain you could tell ? Or is it a waste of time
Airflow = HP compression is secondary
Mill the round chamber in the head all the way flat and you will regain your compression back after fringing the eyebrows from around the valves.
Yea I dont have a mill.. I used a big flat file one time and got it done but it was a pita
Compression over flow. Velocity is king
I completely built the engine with all aftermarket parts this just shows a couple things along the way ... airflow > compression
Flat head briggs are definitely more fun to play with than the ohv clone engines .

Yes it will .. dont get too crazy with the porting as you can actually hurt flow going too big
I’m starting to piece together an off road bar stool racer and have had this 8 horse floating around for years now I think it’ll be a good fit

Shave head , port and polish , shim valvesprings bigger carburetor
@@RAWRMotorsports what carb & springs would you suggest? Will 80cc predator billet flywheel fit? Need billet rod.
I wouldn't waste my time and $ to mod anything smaller than a 196cc
