He's a footnote of a reference, but in the Consular storyline's first chapter of SWTOR there's a Devaronian male Jedi in the Noetikon device. Can't recall his name, but there's that.
The flame resistance could have something to do with the sulfur use that you mentioned before...perhaps frequent exposure to burning sulfur can allow a deveronian's body to ignore a certain degree of severe heat.
Their resistance to fire may simply be an ambient force ability they evolved over time. They are one of the most force sensitive species in the galaxy, it stands to reason they would possess some latent force shield ability that might be instinctual in nature, a form of natural tutiminus if you will, that protects them from energy but isn't controllable. As for why they have this ability? they live on a giant tree filled planet with oxygen... forrest fires would be a HUGE and frequent threat to any species, and just like earths forrests, the species evolved way to defend against and even thrive from fire. Throw the force into the mix and using it to protect from fire makes sense.
they should have made the devaronians evolve on a stereotypical firey or dessert world. i give points on trying to think out the box but yea it keeps stuff like them having fire resistance make no sense and other cool fire/heat based traits they could've had.

Dylan Carroll I think both men and women rule each other in different ways. I still don’t think it’s equal but there’s advantages and disadvantages to both
If their blood is as thick as it sounds, with 2 livers, it might denote that they also have a very sturdy "hide" which could lead to so resistance to fire for short periods of time.

Consumers of sulfur as or like a drug could make them impervious to fire as they crave the burn inside and out. Their thick leather like skin could be thick enough that it takes focused super high temperature to burn or really effect them at all.

Mackenzie Bauroth but what exactly is that?
Mackenzie Bauroth I must have completely missed that then. Lol but I think a bullet or in this case a blaster bolt would be much cheaper and more “civilized.”
This is so interesting!! Are there any devaronian Jedi that you know of?? Canon or legends. Can you continue this series and explore the other species that we saw in the Mos Eisley cantina?? ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
He's a footnote of a reference, but in the Consular storyline's first chapter of SWTOR there's a Devaronian male Jedi in the Noetikon device. Can't recall his name, but there's that.
I can't wait for "greetsly preants the birds and the bees"
The flame resistance could have something to do with the sulfur use that you mentioned before...perhaps frequent exposure to burning sulfur can allow a deveronian's body to ignore a certain degree of severe heat.
I think the Devaronians are an interesting species to say the least!!! And I’d love to dive deeper into their culture!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
"The ins and outs of the procreation process of the devaronians" HA
all that because Lucas wanted more aliens in the cantina and a guy in the back told him, he had a spare devil mask
Always brought me joy killing the bartender in the jekk jekk tar
Great video mate Just subbed, cheers for swinging by my Battlefront 2 stream earlier 👍
I kept expecting Burg to say "There can only be one!"
I like that you put in the video the fight between bearg and the mando
Typical people: Kill It With Fire!!!
Flamethrower had no effect*
I saw that episode too. Man that was a shock!
3:25 “just like us in the real world females were in charge.” I think there will be a few feminist that would beg to differ.
You clearly haven't been married
xX Valtiel Xx nope, don’t know what that’s got to do with me referencing modern day feminism(the extreme side of it) that always blames men for their problems as well as says men are privileged and run the world. Hence the word misogynist and patriarchy being thrown around like confetti at a wedding.
@@dylancarroll4623 it was a joke, women rule our world because the stereotype that they manage a household's finances and know what they need to buy at the market while the men are clueless, they make food, take more care of the children, they decide what to do and the men just say YES to everything and so on, again, a joke.
Geetsly how much Dungeons and Dragons have you played?
Nice video
Hello there
General Kenobi
I get scared of a lot of things. But that is just because I startle easily.! But while I respect the fact The species can be dangerous, they are not the species I fear the most. The blue shadow plague is far more likely to frighten me. It attacks everything. And you cannot reason with it or truly control it. Scary. No offense but it really is far more dangerous.
Hello there
Darth_Waffles 432 general kenobi
Consumers of sulfur as or like a drug could make them impervious to fire as they crave the burn inside and out. Their thick leather like skin could be thick enough that it takes focused super high temperature to burn or really effect them at all.
Maybe Burg wasn’t immune to fire, he was just having too much fun to care about the pain of loosing a layer of skin.
I'm sure if you revered male and female in this video some sjw would be crying about "only good for you know what" but cause its male lets just be ok with it.
The males have a mouth full of canines, not incisors. Incisors are flat, choppers. Canines are pointy.
does two livers mean double the drinks? XD
still waiting for SWTOR to release Devaronians as a playable race.
Devaronian vs Hirogen who wins?
Hell yea! Devaronians are a badass species! Kinda bummed that Villie isn’t canon anymore.
Let’s pin it on the rule of cool… *ad starts* “let’s fight like demons”
Can you do one of these on the werewolf species?
I like them
Now I want one as a friend on my Yt-2400 named the century eagle
8:35 i havnt looked through the comment section so sorry if someones already said it but the reason that burg could withstand that flamethrower was because of his species. As you said before they take "sulfur" and use it like a drug. Well sulfur is technically a by product of some sort of heat so theres a connection there. :) i could nerd out more but i cbf, enjoy
they are demons
What if Maul was as tall as Savage Opress and had horns like these? Or what if Marka Ragnos was half Deveronion, not half human?
ahhhhhh I miss Grahrk
When you talked about where the devaronians were from I was getting serious dougsdale dimmidome vibes
Gault Rennow was easily one of my least favorite companions in swtor.
that was a criminal misrepresentation of Malloc's story.
Great video thanks for clearing up that one part in the Mandalorian with the flamethrower that part confused me but it did look cool.
Making younglings ( giggity )
So what your saying is
genocide is the answer
Those females kinda cute tho
Is there skin really strong?
What happened to attention Sargent on deck?
He got demoted
If it looks like a demon, smells like a demon, bleeds like a demon.....its a demon
FOR THE EMPEROR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheeky lad
breeki
But why does nobody mention the best devaronian of all, Vilmarh Grahrk!?
