In China:
ambulance lights are all blue siren is hi-lo
police car lights are blue&red siren is yelp
fire truck lights are all red siren is wail

In China, ELS colors differ from these
Law enforcement: Red and Blue
Fire rescue: Mostly red with some blue
EMS: all blue
Ministry of transportation: red and blue with amber

Shanghai has 3 main ambulance types:Toyota Hiace, Ford Transit and Volkswagen Caravelle.
Toyota Hiace but siren and lights are from china

Ambulance and police cars in china only have hi-lo, which is effective
But their Hi-Lo isn't as loud as european Hi-lo. Like here, in Indonesia we use the same siren for our ambulances which is senken siren. Most drivers couldn't hear the hi-lo.
