In the UK, we have green flashing lights for Doctors on call, although I think I've only seen that once or twice.

in some states in the us volunteer firefighters can have green lights, red and blue lights, and or red lights depending on the state
I grew up in Hong Kong, seeing ambulances run red lights is actually a very new thing, they used to just sit there. My dad was part of the team who taught them that they can speed, run red lights etc etc (he used to drive medic one in Edinburgh)

I’ve noticed the ambulance drivers in HK getting somewhat more ‘aggressive’ in their approach over the last few years, but it still really depends. They could achieve a lot more if they used their cars and sirens to the fullest potential.
I grew up in Hong Kong too! I was there from 1970 to 1987. I still remember all the emergency services answering calls. Those were the good ole days!

In all countries Police, EMS and Fire Fighters have to respond to fires. But Vietnam sends the SWAT Teams to fires for some reason idk.

@@施宇洋-m4c two things one that is not a Honda civic it's a Honda hrv or CRV or something like that two it's an ambulance car which can't carry people but is meant to be a first responders vehicle to clear the scene and see what they can do before the typically slower bigger ambulance gets there.

Its to control the ladder.
Nexo- Games it’s a ladder truck that isn’t fully connected to it like a semi truck and the only way it can manoeuvre around corners is to steer the rear and front at the same time so basically it can do a 90 degree turn without a problem

That’s right! All the new SCDF ambulances in Singapore have Rumbler sirens. Apparently the Singapore Police Force has them too, but rarely used them.

@@TGGGlobalEmergencyResponses to be honest, i don't think the frontline police cars are even allowed to blast their siren in Singapore. it would seem to me that only the specialist units use them. Even when you watch the police parade, only the specialist units blast their sirens. the rest are like "imma use my red and blue and creep up on you"

It’s called a tiller: independent rear steering. It’s to get long ladders down very narrow streets with steep turns.
