- Disclaimer: this video was filmed on March 17th, 2020. As of release of this video, we are currently at home self isolating and do not recommend travelling until global and local health organizations recommend it is safe to do so - although we would love to be on a plane right about now...
The second leg of our journey home from Bangkok in business class, we took on one of the longest flights from the Pearson International Airport in Toronto, from Dubai International Airport. Seated in seats 1K and 2K in Air Canada's signature cabin was an absolute treat. We were incredibly excited to review our native airline, and the flight did NOT disappoint. The reverse herringbone seating configuration provided a ton of privacy on board the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

I love how excited you both were and how much you enjoyed the experience.
Right at the moment when the tv had written 5k i was like damn business class get that resolution and then suddenly my happiness turned into sadness
Nothing less expected from, by far, the best airline in Canada
Honestly such an amazing experience in business, the pod seats are so comfortable!
10:59-11:02 I wish I could witness this incredible view by myself in air- _almost something magical, enchanting, beautiful and really heartwarming_
Wishing all projects would start someday 🙏
The hint of moon against slowly rising daylight was amazing and also amazingly captured!
Hope you're staying safe during these times! We're trying to dream up some trips, but things are pretty hard right about now!
I don’t know if you heard about this but my name is Reid Alcock and I painted a picture of an Air Canada 787 flying in a sunset. So my mom decided to put it on Twitter... air Canada saw it... and they decided to give me a free trip to Montreal to see the Air Canada a220-300! Hotel, flight everything was free! I was even allowed in the cockpit with the pilot. And he said directly to me and to my parents that I know more than his copilot. That’s pretty insane! And I was the only one allowed in the cockpit. besides the pilots of corse.. lol. Nice nice video keep up the good work. I subbed
Hi! Viewer from Toronto here. I just discovered your channel today and I really love it! Please stay safe and quarantine well, and I can't wait to see what future travel videos you guys will make!
Thank you so much! Stay safe yourself, unfortunately international travel isn't looking reasonable anytime soon but we do have a beautiful country to explore!
Nice trip report! Happy you enjoyed flying J class with Air Canada !
Yup it was a beautiful experience!
Kirsten: "....a toothbrush, perfect for fixing Rich's curry breath!". Hahaha! That Haagen Dasz ice cream and omelette for breakfast looked super....enjoyed your vlog, especially the onboard food reviews! Thank you
Thanks as always! Looking forward to making more of these... from economy class where we belong! 🤣
I loved this video so much . It has always been my dream to live in canada and fly business in the airlines(Subscribed)
Really appreciate the support! We feel very lucky to live in this country... stay tuned we (finally) have some exciting plans for travel in Canada!
Mine too
Proud to be an Indo Canadian!
Turning left is good.... its good to do a closeup of the menu and drinks list...its always interesting to see what the lastest food and premium liquors are available....good video
Thanks Dale! Looking forward to flying again soon once the world is more... normal
Rich... You eat in the dark again 🧇🥐☕🍉🍍 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
Kristen, I really love you explaining the bathroom tour. 🚽😍👍
Respect you both ❤
Had to watch a few reviews flying from Toronto to Dubai on ac business class for the first time, I hope it lives up to its name of best business class in North America
awesome review! Liked and subbed. I love the Dreamliner, it's a modern plane. The service was great.
Hey i love your videos
Very entertaining n detailed vdo
Nice video fun fact the 787-9 Dreamliner travels the farther distance an -10 is longer and fits more but flies at a lesser range
That. Was...wow. Nice treatment on that flight. And ridiculous takeoff & landing scenery!
I definitely agree about scenery!
Yeah they really took care of us! It was a very special flight
@@RichandKirsten I think they saw people needed being taken care of in the moment.
Soo good! The air canada 787 is such a beautiful bird! I haven't reviewed business class yet but I'm going to be when flying gets back! I subscribed
You should the reverse herring bone config is SO private! We’ll be posting flight reviews like this of all our flights... when we can fly again! We just flying, but more than likely in economy again
Lovely sunrise
nice video,nice cabin
Nice video guys, the Air Canada Business Class on the Dreamline is really great, its a fantastic product, they do your nation proud.
As for the IFE (in flight entertainment system) Business Class and even First Class on every airline in the world get the same IFE as economy.
You pay a premium price for the extra room, lay flat bed, better quality food and drinks, lounge access, priority boarding, security and check-in.
At YYC the priority baggage actually worked too, as 3 of our checked bags came out first
Love ur traveling videos😍✈️🌍
great Video !
Thanks, Susan!
Nice video. If you guys are using AP miles and interested in visiting Asia again, EVA business product is definitely worth to try out ;)
EVA through TPE was actually the other option we were looking at... having experienced their Premium Economy we believe that their business service is amazing!
Thanks!
Do a video for Emirates on the same route from Dubai to Toronto flight. Let's see which airlines is more better experience.
The business class tickets are a little cost-prohibitive, so if we can find a way to rack up miles again we would love that!
10:11 LMAO missing the cheese
I'm travelling in same flight in business class, which seat do you recommend?
New subscriber 💞 l really love this type of videos nd i made also ✈️ best wishes for future 😍
What meal was Rich having? Looked delicious! Was that a special meal request?
Nope, it was the standard indian option from Dubai!
Hi, I am going to travel in Air Canada Business Class soon so I have a question and was wondering if you could answer it.
Do we receive any Wi-Fi in the Business Class cabin because I know that many flights give Wi-Fi for their business class passengers?
Yes we got a voucher for the WiFi, but it didn’t work for us
@@RichandKirsten ok thanks
What camera do you use?
I hope you've splurged for a lapel mic since you've created this video.
What type of camera were you holding in the bathroom? Is that the one you used for the whole video?
We shoot on a Sony A7iii. It’s the main camera we use in all of our vlogs
💢💥💢💥💢💥💢💥💢💥This Flight is Very Awesome. 💢💥💢💥💢💥💢💥From BANGLADESH 💢💥💢💥💢💥💢💥
Just curious...when did u guys travel... during Covid or right before the revision of travel...
This was actually the last leg of our flight home due to COVID, on March 18 I believe it was
Still did not get a good idea of the amount of privacy provided by the space. We can forego all of the other entertaiment.
The seat was very private due to the reverse herringbone config
Your voice is to good...
Which seat is better: 1K or 2K? Is 1K too close to washroom?
Thanks!
The washroom is on the other side of the galley so 1K was fine from that perspective. 1K might have been a bit close to the galley for most but didn’t bother us at all!
How did you find sitting behind each other vs choosing the middle and being able to visit with the partition removed? Window seats vs easily communicating with your spouse.
To be honest, we just wanted window seats 🤣
@@RichandKirsten Ya I totally get that. I think I'd choose the window over my husband too. LOL
😂😂 worth it
Haha...great video btw.
But my suggestion, next time u fly via Dubai pls try the Emirates Business Class.....boy that is Luxury on a different level!
I would love to see ur reaction flying in an Emirates flight!
Thanks...
@@bettyli6635 totally! You spend the rest of your life with your spouse already haha
Emirates is much better ✈ flight as far as Dubai Lounge n Flight selection of Food n premium Alcohol selections..
Flight has in-house Lounge for Cocktail 🍸..
Also it has Free Limousin one side upto 30 kms drop or pick up service..
I got the same kangol shirt. I got it at winners
xD so did I!
Can we order meal anytime in business becz i m thinking to travel to India in air canada business class first time with my son
I m worried abt his food
At the beginning of the flight they gave us a menu and told us we could eat whenever we wanted... Rich chose to sleep first and eat later, while Kirsten did the opposite! This was pre-Covid though.
Did you have to pay for all the food and drinks?
You do not! It's all included in a Business Class ticket.
@@RichandKirsten thank you!
For the price of a BClass ticket, no meal should be "so, so". Not acceptable.
have you experience flying Emirates A380 to Toronto?
Nope, but it’s a dream!
It’s quite an experience to say the least aha… first and only time I’ve flown on an A380, for now at least lol
Emirates A380 business class food & seat is better, but there's also more business class seats so it's busier... and they don't do dine on demand. Avoid seats near the bar area if ever want to sleep.
Air Canada is better than Emirates 777 business class though. Emirates 777 business class is one of the worst out there.
Best 16 hours ever??? Try flying Emirates First Class then let me know
Haha, we’re sure Emirates First Class would be incredibly impressive, but it’s a touch more out of our league then business hahah
Do you get to have free internet?
We got a voucher for 25mb (basically only enough to check your email) but it didn’t work, not sure if this has changed
Mask was not mandatory?
Not in March, no
You don’t have to wear a mask?
Hey Jenny! This was filmed in early March 2020 before it was mandatory to wear a mask on board. We flew Air Canada again in August and it was mandatory then
In quarintine
Pretty much, hoping to leave quarantine soon
Why air Canada cancelled my return tickets and it won't gave me my refund or replace it and rode customer service after 2 hours answer my call and says reason we are not responsible because you bought your tickets from agent and it won't tell me the canceling reason
There’s been a lot of issues with AC recently...
Woow bro today's your video so nice and beautiful and your girlfriend very beautiful this Moment you are sleeping and your girlfriend flying kiss for you that's very beautiful moment and very beautiful view's this video but this video very beautiful and amazing well bro I'm waiting for your next beautiful videos goodbye and take care bro....
Bro stop using so much 'very beautiful'
There seems to be no space below the tv.. How are you supposed to raise your knees.. Such a poor design
Air Kanada SUCKS!
your the b-tech kara and nate
You’re*
@@RichandKirsten ouch. I didN'T mean it in a bad way but sure
Apologies then - we knew b-tech to be kind of an insult, like copy cat version or crap version!
@@RichandKirsten oh no. in the UK b tech means like a concept used by many people. tbh I like you guys more coz you actually explain the aircraft and seat. I like it as I am an avgeek. all peace and love from me
🤣 sorry!! We’re av geeks too - honestly we were so picky about booking business class because we wanted to fly in a Dreamliner with the pod configuration... cause we may never get business again
That's a pretty lame looking cabin compared to Delta and Emirates
What are we flying in emirates there business class will destroy your eyes
Emirates A380 yes, but Emirates 777 business class is trash compared to most airlines these days.
Ewwwww you touched the bathroom window shade, I can only imagine how much feces and other bodily fluids have hit that....yuck. And no masks or distancing going on I see, way to go Air Canada, nice to see they care about passengers health. ~
There is soap in the bathroom 🤷♂️
@Chad Markz If you fly on Air Canada now it is much different. At your seat you get a bag with a water bottle, mask, hand sanitizer, wipes and more. But if you read the description they flew on this flight on March 17 which is around the time when things started locking down and it took all airlines (not just Air Canada) a little time to figure out what to do and how to handle the situation. It's not that they didn't care about passengers health, its just nobody expected this and so they where not ready for it.
@@jesses-m if you think air canada cares about clean airplanes and your health....there's something wrong with your head
@@chadmarkz4334 Air Canada is just doing what every airline is doing. Also there are no reported cases of someone getting Covid-19 on a plane because planes have the same air filtration system as hospitals. The things you touch like the tray tables are not very clean but that is why they give you a disinfectant wipe to you can clean it. Air Canada is the same as any airline in the world, safety is there number one priority
@@jesses-m those wipes won't be around for long
Air Canada serves some of the worst food in the industry.
But air canada picked up this food in Dubai 🤤
