- Flight Review of Air Canada B777-300ER Business Class from Toronto to Dubai in March 2024 - Flight: 401
I'm back for another Air Canada trip report, this time I'm flying the Toronto to Dubai sector again but in Business Class. I did this route with Air Canada almost a year ago to the day!
This was my first time in signature class, Air Canada's name for business class since they updated to the current seats.
I would highly recommend my bulkhead seat in the second business class section as it has extra legroom and a tremendous view of the massive and beautiful GE90 engine.
Enjoy my trip onboard AC56 operated by C-FIUW a 15-year old Boeing B777-300ER one of my favourite airplanes.

Phenomenal summary , very informative and entertaining! Keep up the good work
Much appreciated!
Great video! Nice seat for getting nice video of the GE90 in action. 👍
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you for not playing music over engine noise! 😊
Always! Thanks for watching
Great video looks like you had a wonderful flight!
It was! Thanks for watching
That catering does seem to be somewhat minimal although, as you say, passengers do have the opportunity to dine in the lounge before the flight. However, considering the length of the flight - it is a flight to Dubai not London - passengers would not really need to go to sleep that soon after take off in order to get a full 8 hours of sleep. I found the breakfast odd. Chick peas and Kale for breakfast to accompany an omelette? What tastes are they catering to? I would have preferred tomatoes, mushrooms and hash browns with my omelette.
Yes I agree, thanks for watching!
For late evening departures, AC does an express meal service, so folks get to rest sooner. Hence, a one-tray deal you got.
nice video; food always a bit 'poor' on AC (as in KLM, sic)
Catering is definitely is a level below the likes of ME3 and Asian carriers.
Great video! 4 course meal looks amazing.
It WAS tasty, thanks for watching!
Great video! That is a good engine view from that seat :D
Yes it was! thanks for watching.
Great video! Looks like you had a great flight!
Thank you, yes it was quite comfortable!
loved your narration
Thank you!
The catering from Dubai tends to be better than taking one from Toronto
Yes I agree!
And yet Toronto is the home hub. Go figure.
Well presented flight report! Suite looked comfy. Food was disappointing... just as it is on American carriers in their business class. It seems that the Asian and Gulf carriers have the best offerings. Keep your posts coming!
Thanks so much, appreciate your support. I'll continue to share my travel experiences. I have a gulf carrier trip report coming soon!
9:16 so beautiful!
Thank you!
Great & honest video….10:53-10:58 video transitions were a killer!!!!
Thanks for the kind words, glad you enjoyed it!
Fire!!
Thank you!
3:50 Unfortunately Vancouver got the short end of the stick and Emirates didn't come here (not sure why). Also, Air Canada's YVR-DXB only operates from October-March, so for the other six months there are only non-direct options.
The Canada-UAE air service agreement allows 21 flights per week for each country. On the UAE side Emirates uses 14 (daily flights to YYZ & YUL) and Etihad the remaining 7 (daily to YYZ). Unless that’s increased, no Emirates in YVR unfortunately.
@@zwindowseat Yup. It's just before entering Seattle, Emirates always wanted Vancouver. Even though they had this agreement expansion, I'm not sure if they were allowed to expand to Vancouver, and maybe that's why they chose Montreal as Air Canada still wants its monopoly here. I know many people who make the drive down to Seattle to hop on a direct flight.
I'd also be wondering if they were to come here, if they'd operate the A380 or the 777 as YVR is capable but as of now, there are no A380's that fly here currently.
Sir, Toronto is not in Quebec. Nice map.
Yes of course… for some reason the pin kept moving to Quebec from Ontario. 😂
@@zwindowseat he’s right
Great video. Now want to fly Signature class!
Thank you! You really should!
Amazing video, good job!!
Thanks a lot!
Sweet! Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
The food at the lounge and on the flight looked really tasty
It was indeed quite tasty! Thank you.
Great video!
Thanks for the visit
Air Canada’s Business Class food service is mediocre at best. There is more than enough time to serve individual courses but they dump it all at once. Then the crew disappears. In our last flight from Tokyo they ran out of business class diners and breakfasts and all for $8,000!
The Signature lounge is the only thing Air Canada does well.
Yes, I agree that the Signature Suite is very nice… video on that is coming soon!
how are the special meal options on moth economy and business for international flights because I'm Muslim and wanted tho know how those are or any kind of special meal
Air Canada offers 12 different types of special meals on their international flights including a halal/muslim meal option.
Why on a 13 hour flight is everything served all at once? Lazy flight crew?
I was surprised as well. But since it was almost midnight local time maybe they were trying to get through service quickly so passengers can sleep.
So cool !!
Thanks so much!
Thank you for the video. Meh. Not impressed with the AC product.
Thanks for watching!
Commentary was as bland as Air Canada business class and their service. Have flown their business class before and vowed never to fly AC again
Thanks for your feedback! Have a great day
That’s not nice.
Air Canada is just an OK airline. Very average.
Thanks for watching!
