- I really did not know you could see puffins in Reykjavík. When I found out you could take a quick tour from Reykjavík harbor we had to go check them out. And we were not disappointed.

Nice, more Mrs. Time Warp!
On it!
Mrs Time Warp was very happy with that comment btwn😍
@@TimeWarpIceland I remember in one of the Fagradalsfjall videos you asked her "Are you excited?" And she said "Nei." And my husband and I were in stitches over this. Behind every man on YT is a slightly annoyed but loving woman, they deserve more spotlight! lol
Not sure why UA-cam hides comments from me but I just saw this one for some reason 😅 but definitely true!
That looks like a great thing to do. Very enjoyable presentation of this excursion.
Thank you Kip. I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
I did this on the last day of my trip! It wasn't quite Dyrholaey but I really enjoyed it. :)
Did you do it from Reykjavík?
That looks fun!!!
It definitely is. 😊
Cool video! Thanks for braving a boat again!
Haha thank you and you are welcome Paula. I wasn't as worried about this one because it was much shorter than that other one. But I did think they would offer sea sickness tablets.
"I identify as king." 😂😂😂 Love it.
I did a Reykjavik puffin boat tour like this one June 2021 and it was really cool! Funny enough I ended up sitting next to a guy who lives in my US city. What are the odds. But I definitely got much closer to the puffins at Dyrholaey. I was able to get amazing pictures of them there.
I'll be going to dyrhólaey next time for sure. 😊
A kiwi from New Zealand taking a puffin spotting tour in Iceland! I hope one day to see an Icelander from Iceland taking a Kiwi spotting tour in New Zealand to even the stakes.
I would love to do that! New Zealand is on my bucket list. I'll add Kiwi spotting to the top of my itinerary.
I saw one in Dyrholaey! Great video, btw.
Thanks you :) I am definitely going to go there also at some point.
Hope to see puffins at Borgorfyorour… wish me luck!
You will need it this time of year I think 😁good luck!
Oh you arrive in 66 days I noticed in another comment. Then you might have some luck 🤞
I can also recommend Drangey Island off Sauðárkrókur. ~ 800'000 Puffins, Seagulls and if you're lucky a Falcon as well. The Hike from the Boat to the Top however is not for the ones scared of heights
I can't wait to try that now. Sauðárkrókur is of the beaten path but an excellent place to stay and I have been waiting for an excuse.
@@TimeWarpIceland you have an excuse now haha. If you go up there call Drangey Tours, Father-Son Company and an excellant experience.
Thank you 😊 I'll be sure to do that 😊
Grettirs last fight
You said you were using a 105mm lens, did I understand it right? Full frame or APS-C camera?
Yes, aps-c. My camera is Sony A6300. It's a great lens, very versatile.
@@TimeWarpIceland I am trying to figure out what my 70-200mm can do in this tour. Or can't...
It will do great, but if you can get a good wide angle camera for scenery , especially if you are here during Norther Lights season you will be golden.
Will there be any there still in September? 🤞🏻
No unfortunately. At least no trips and your chances are slim to none. But let me know if you prove me wrong.
Yes plan May 19 2025 do puffins
