Disappointing PUFFIN Tour in Reykjavik!

- Puffin Island was the destination during my day in Reykjavik, Iceland and it wasn't that I hope for! You don't expect to get too close to whales but I expected more from the puffin tour... Later in the day, I check out Perlan, Wonders of Iceland! Enjoy!

Aww bummer you didn't get closer to the Puffins, that's one thing I should have done while I was there, the views looked great! That museum was amazing, will have to check that out next time I'm in Reykjavik! :)

We have a children’s organic cereal here in the U.S. called Puffins and the character on the box is one of these animals. I guess I never realized these were real. Bummer that you couldn’t get very close.
They’re very real, Sheri! And they fly fast 😂 so I couldn’t get a good view! Boat ride was fun 😊
I’m in love with Iceland, just from viewing your videos! 🤣 it’s a “MUST GO” place for me now. Although it’s expensive I think it will be a great experience! It’s so beautiful. Hmm.. yes the puffin trip wasn’t much… they look like any flock of birds on an island. What did you do for meals in Reykjavík? I guess that must have been expensive 😮. Thanks for a great video!
Iceland is great, Lim! Definitely a must visit but the prices are just crazy. I honestly just went to the supermarket for sandwiches and snacks because I couldn't justify paying $25 for fish and chips when only a few days before, I was on a ship with an all you can eat buffet HAHA

Spent a couple of days in Iceland about ten years ago on an Icelandair stopover on the way to London. Couldn’t afford to go back again 😂, but would love to go back someday and see the Glacier Lagoon where 007 was filmed. So jealous that coworker just spent ten days driving the Ring Road. Had the same problem on a wildlife tour in Alaska. The tour guide said look at the bald eagles in the trees! All I saw were little white golf balls (bald eagle heads). Iceland is extremely expensive, Jeanne 😂 you definitely need to save to go back. Glacier Lagoon looks like another planet! The did enjoy the boat road and the puffin tour but it just wasn’t as spectacular as I expected! Thanks, again! 😁
Loved this series. I get the puffin thing... a shame... I'd guess you'd need to up close to really enjoy them.

Thanks! I'd like to go to Iceland by cruise, I think. I know there are so many amazing places one can go inland and only on a land trip. But I don't drive, I'm concerned about the expense compared to other places I could go, and the drinking culture sounds pretty off-putting to me. Fear that a group tour (since I couldn't just rent a car) would be either too raucous or too expensive.
Iceland should definitely be on your bucket list, Abraham! But be warned, it is extremely expensive! Similar to NYC or LA prices, maybe more for some things!
