Great review, I just picked up the OA 2311 Compact and it came with 5 15rd Mags. I just added a 507k ACSS and TLR7A Flex. Being a Southpaw I really like the love for us. Was planning on running it this weekend until we got snowed in, but definitely later this week.
Nice!!! 👏🏿👏🏿
Would you wait for the Pro version with slide cuts if you were ordering it now? Release should be anytime now.
Absolutely. I know they are offering aftermarket parts so maybe down the line I might get one. But yeah grab a Compact Pro
Shoot-ability, reliability that’s my look at witch one I would pick. And if it’s couple hundred dollars i’ll get a staccato all day. at least I’ll know the value will stay reasonable with the staccato later. And five years later the value be. 10,000 rounds the staccato will still be running strong. Be will see how this 2311 will do in a couple years.
Great video, but I will personally go with the OA2311, I can't wait to order the OA2311 Pro
Thank you! I am looking forward to getting the pro model in FDE.
Oh you just showing out bro! Nice review!🔥
Thanks bro! I really appreciate that! 😎
Enjoyed the video.
Thank you for watching!
Regarding grip, you can easily replace staccato grips with genuine staccato parts such as newer P gen 2 tac grips and staccato c2 grips (compact) just like you explained the OA 2311 can do.
Well true. The thing about that is, swapping the grip out on a staccato will be far more involved, costly, & require a level of know how that a lot of people do not have As opposed to just replacing the full sized mag well with the compact one on the OA2311.
Have u shot a platypus? Wondering how it compares to the oracle 2311...
I have not shot the platypus but I really want one & I definitely plan on grabbing one for a versus with the Oracle!
🔥 🙌
Thank you for watching! 😎
Nice my guy
Thanks fam! 🫡
Another huge factor is the Oracle arms uses sig p320 magazines. Better reliability and lower cost.
Plus going to a compact grip with just a magwell change is nice.
Can't wait till the ELITE comes out. Want to see the reviews for it, looks badass
You and me both
Hopefully I will be able to get a T&E copy for review when that time comes.
Solid review
Thank you! & thank you for watching!
keep that tech support # on speed dial. shudda put duct tape on that front sight. 🤣🤣
I just got the gun back from OA & so far, it’s running better than before. I am gonna put another 500 rounds or so through before I make my final decision.
Wow all above my pay grade, however where are they made one in Texas always gets my vote.
My voting had the Staccato winning 7 to 5. Still pretty close for the 1st gen
I agree! That’s what so nice about the OA2311. To say that it can compete with something like a Staccato says a lot!
I dont know why but for some reason i thought you did this video already but i could be trippin😂😂 but i will watch anyway
Actually I did but I had to pull the other one down because somehow it got corrupted. This one is the complete video.
@@Thearmchairoperator215 ok. I like the review but if I could afford either based off of your review I would choose the Staccato
That’s fair & honestly I would pick the Staccato too simply because of its track record for reliability & the fact that I am a better shot with it versus the OA2311.
@@Thearmchairoperator215 exactly because the track record matters the most. At this point what more can be done to firearms but both Nice
Leaf spring is proprietary to oracle, hammer trigger sear disconnector main spring interchangeable.
Been waiting for 2 years on the pro so I’m about over the oracle.
I’m hearing that the pro models may drop in late Q1 or early Q2 2024
One thing that I think makes the 2311 more attractive for carry, besides the huge safeties that I kinda hate, is the 2311 is rocking front and rear tritium night iron sights.
Do what 😂😂😂 you can put any type of magwell and grip size you want on a staccato 😂. If anything the oracle arms is stuck with oracle am grips mag releases slide stops etc. staccato you can put anything from cheely to pt to mpa etc on it 😂
The Oracle Arms 2311 doesn't appeal to me personally. I'll spend the extra $300.😎
Nothing wrong with that 💯
I'd take my Staccattos all day long but i'm old Fuud . I am however looking into the OA 2311
I love staccato. Fun fact, this video inspired me to add the “operators choice” at the end of my versus videos moving forward. Sometimes I prefer the gun that did not win the versus & sometimes I do.
In this case, I would also pick the staccato.
Like the character "Hoot" (Eric Bana) said in the military classic film Black Hawk Down, "Well, this is my safety sir". The Staccato grip safeties are an unnecessary complication in my opinion. For that reason, I simply would never consider the Staccato firearms for duty or military use. As most of you may know, there are many [] factors that contribute to firearm safety (i.e., muzzle awareness, adequate holsters, trigger discipline, properly holstering and holstering, etc.).
2311 has nothing in common with Sig320 other than Magazine. It is updated 1911.
The grip id pretty 320 esque.
Staccato p is way better of a gun
I agree that the Staccato is a better gun but I wouldn’t say that it’s a way better gun.
I have both, and way better is a stretch. Now if you compare it to an Atlas or Nighthawk, way better is a solid statement.
In my opinion the staccato looks better, 2311 is a ugly ish gun 🤷♂️
