First of all, get a red dot. secondly long barrel pistols are typically more accurate than short barrel pistols, I have a CZ Shadow 2 Blue with a long barrel with no optic, just iron sights, and the accuracy is off the charts. The 17L is an outstanding gun and quite accurate. Keep up the good work, the gun is good. Cheers...😊

Do you think that the P365 macro comp or Hellcat pro comp are better? The comp on this not being too effective is a little disappointing.

My 510 is my favorite pistol. After about 600 rounds, the trigger breaks at a very clean 4 pounds. 100% reliable with everything it's been fed, even the heavy Buffalo Bore 220 grain pills. Very accurate. Less felt recoil than either of my XDm 10s, or my Glocks, or S&W, and even less than the heavy Kimber 1911. Sig is the king of 10mm.

I do think it’s hype with a TTI label on it -for the price point. It is coming down though. You comp a Rival S, for 900-1000 and I may pick up Canik #4. Canik should have probably done that from the start.

are there any safety options available from fn on the 510, there is no trigger safety that i can see, the new fn hiper hasn't either but the fn five seven has

my mags were not feeding. took em apart cleaned em and stretched the springs. keep it clean and run it wet fixed the ftf for me! i'm considering a heavier recoil spring but haven't done it yet! great vid. thanks.

Just picked one up a couple days ago. I haven't fired it yet as I'm waiting for some extra mags to arrive by mail (the Magpul mags are well reviewed and are cheaper than the Glock factory mags. They just don't have the holes drilled in back to see how many rds you have). I don't want to spend half my time at the range reloading mags. I always go heavy on mags with most of my firearms. I traded a Sig SP2022 to offset the cost a bit which was a good trade IMO. Nothing wrong with the SP2022 but the G47 has a lot more options and capacity. Plus so many things use Glock mags like several PCC so it was time I joined the Glock Club after being a firearm owner for almost 25 years. As for upgrades, Trijicon night sights will likely be what I go with. I just need to order a Glock front sight tool along with the actual sights. I already have the tool to push out the rear sight so good to go. Also, the G47 is so new that a lot of sites don't list it as being compatible with sights so I'm assuming there were no issues having your sights installed? No need to machine or modify to get them to fit?

The 17L is a go to war pistol, you have a high velocity and kinetic energy from the 6.02" barrel, stability at longer distances, flat shooter, and a long barrel to grip for pistol whipping someone, it should handle +P &+P+ a lot better than a 17, 19, and 26. 147gr +P+ should hit like a hot .40 155/165 from this pistol, over 1200fps.
