- This is how to fix a bricked Tinyhawk 2 Freestyle I have tried to flash new firmware with no luck and I have tried to rest my settings nothing has work hopefully this works for you.

Damn dude you are awesome man. I updated my FW to the newest one for our boards and I had no issues with my Tinyhawk II but it did not go smooth for this TH II FS, I did your method and it worked even on newest FW after I followed Betaflight's instructions for fixing a bricked/locked access board.
Just a tip don't save it and then load from file it just went into a forever load or long way of doing code. I just copied and pasted after a 2nd try of recovering my FW(firmware) and that was way way faster.

You are god sent my man. I have tried every other method and watch many repair videos none of which were successfull. I even removed a triode on my board which did not solve the problem. My board bricked when I crashed it on concrete but it was not a hard crash. I sincerely hope this video will be watched by many others as this seems like a common problem.

Thanks for the vid. Got me back in the air. Resetting my pids to my preference was the hard part
So I actually accidently fixed this problem without realizing. No settings were saved so I reinserted my own cli with settings that I wanted that I have saved before and that fixed it. I was just searching it because I thought it was weird that it did that and wanted to find out what caused the problem in the first place so thanks for that answer.
Bro thanks this video helped. My Tinyhawk 2 freestyle had been sitting in my drawer since last year. Now I have the dji goggles 2 and looking to fly my drone. Now all I need is to order the caddx Vista lite. Thanks again 👍

Yup..man it's what mine is doing. .but all I did was hit the resetting button in beta flight ..but my computer won't let me down load the cli. it won't let me put it in the beta cli page .so I can't fix like you did ..I have beta flight 10.4 ...my computer won't down load 10.6 ...so I'm screwd..you got the best how to fix video I ever seen tho

If you got the rtf kit would you select the rtf cli link? Or still go with bnf?
You would go with the rtf version although you can use either. Its just that you would have to bind your transmitter to the drone if you use the rtf version.

@@InfinityDrones i think i have found the problem that is being fixed as i write. You see i shorted my motor wires and something popped and smoke was coming out. i did some research and found a video here guy has the same problem and fixes it by changing the transistor. Link to the video: ua-cam.com/video/xrjhuOSficg/v-deo.html . So i went to my local repair for micro soldering. He called me and said that transistor was fine but the one chip on the motherboard is overheating because it died. The spare chip is being shipped and i cant say if the chip is the problem or something else. I will update you when the chips are replaced. If you feel heat when ever you plug in the batteries it might be the same problem, but take your drone to local repair guy for inspection.
@@neilasmedimas7471 please do! hope it works man. My issue is that my drone was just plugged into betaflight and a cli dump was made... afterwards it does not detect anymore :(

yea that's where I'm out now. USB gives it power and lights are flashing but BF can't see it.
You probably have a defective cable or probably not using a data transfer cable. Make sure the cable you use is data transfer so that the drone can speak to your computer. You may also need to install certain drivers alongside betaflight so that your computer can talk to the drone. In the main page of betaflight I think there are some driver recommendations on the front page of betaflight. There are some tutorial videos that talk about how to properly set up betaflight. I think some of the best ones are from get fpv where they have a short series about it.
@@isick357 I'm able to talk to my other whoops with the same PC and cable.
@@fredjones2841 You probably might need an older version of betaflight or some different drivers. I'm not entirely sure tho. I just got serious on the fpv hobby around 3 months ago so I might not be the most reliable source. Either way it wouldn't hurt to try.
@@fredjones2841 Exact same issue I am having, connects fine with everything else but it won't power or recognize the TF2 in Betaflight
