Do people not realize satellite radio does not use the same antenna as am/fm radio? The satellite antenna is located on top center of the speaker bar just behind the front seats.
How do hours of research equal this antenna providing any satellite reception. LMAO!

I like how with all this research, he's keeping the antenna even though there is a little bit of degradation on am/fm. But at least that satellite reception is great!
I'm not so sure the research resulted in any value for the review. I use my money for a Satellite Antenna Relocation bracket to deal with my roof rack interfering with satellite reception. (That I did research) ;)
No because before 2008 there was no such thing as satalite radio..I am so old I still have a music deviced on my jeep we called 8 track player back in the 1800 hundreds.
Satellite radio antenna is on top of the sound bar.

I live in a very rural area. I had the same antenna. I re-installed factory antenna because I wasn't getting anything close to the same reception with the new antenna. It's a tradeoff; if you want radio stations, keep the original antenna. If you want to go off-road a lot where the factory metal antenna is going to be slapped around and possibly break because of the tree limbs and brush that's on off-road trails, then get a little antenna like this one.

Caught the door peek at 4:15 .
I either use Sat Radio or Spotify music I rarely use the radio matter a fact I don't remember the last time I tuned into one. That said I did replace the OEM antenna from Jeep and got a short one just to make it look cooler.

the satellite radio uses a different antenna that is mounted below the forward most portion of the rear hard top. It doesn't use the same stick antenna as the AM/FM stations

yeah little degradation when your close to powerful stations. , those types of antennas, just won't work as well. on the fringes however if your only in a particular good signal area it's great..
Satellite has nothing to do with the antenna. I have the same antenna and FM reception sucks. But it looks good... I will look at my options when my Sirius expires.

Yes, I think there were some other comments about that. Sorry for lack of knowledge at the time of making this video. Antenna is still doing well, free satellite subscription ended a long time ago and never renewed so just been doing local stations.
Seems to work fine for me. The struggle I have is with Sirius XFM radio - I cannot seem to get a signal that sticks for more than a minute before I get the annoying "check antenna" alert. Anyone know how to boost the receptivity?
I let my XM expire but while I did have it, it seemed fine in my area. Hopefully someone else can help.

This antenna has nothing to do with your satellite radio. It has a separate antenna built into the speaker bar. Is this antenna floppy?
