Swapping out the ridiculous factory antenna for something more compact.

I swap out my factory antenna and mount for a Rugged Ridge Elite Mount and Rugged Ridge Stubby Antenna. Its a very simple a quick install, anybody can to do.

I tried that. Then my am radio took a crap. Only need to pull the entire dash out to run a new antenna cable………..

We picked our new Rubicon Ecodiesel up on the 16th, I literally removed and replaced the factory antenna on the dealer lot. Their faces were priceless 🤣

Yeah some dealerships get it some don’t. I’m luck the manager at my dealership is a trail guide for a local 4x4 park.
How do you like the diesel. I wanted a diesel, but I wanted a manual transmission more.

@@renegade4wd12 so far its awesome! Torque is intoxicating and feels so great. Passing someone on a 2 lane highway/back road is effortless. Great fuel economy as well, but thats just an added benefit and not why we went with it.
Just hit 1000 miles yesterday, and paid the tax man today.... ouch! If I lived in a place without sales tax I could have put the rock krawler lift and method wheels I want on it 🤣😭

@@vdub5818 yeah my buddy lived in Alaska and didn’t pay sales tax until he moved back to Louisiana. He cried when they gave him the bill.
