    the amount of scrapping and rework (and work-in-process) is pretty stunning. still seeing 3 shifts up on lifts with safety harnesses this far along seems pretty crazy too. one would think stage 0 (or stage -1) would be farther along by now.

      They only have results from 3 flights to adjust to. It will take many more before they settle on something that works the way they want.

    Dios mío con lo que habrá costado fabricar y colocar esos tanque la verdad es que yo siempre pensé que estaban muy cerca de la plataforma orbital en caso de accidente o explosión de una Starship como casi sucedió en el primer vuelo sufriendo daños estructurales en fin perdiendo se aprende que el proyecto siga adelante y vealos pronto el cuarto lanzamiento este es el camino

    • @David-yo5ws
      @David-yo5ws 12 днів тому +1

      The Tanks closest to the OLM are GSE-3 (LOX) GSE-6 (LOX) Water (H2O) Methane (CH4) The Marcus House Team believe the LOX and Water tanks will stay as extra storage.
      The Tanks closest to the road are GSE-5 (LOX) GSE-1 (LN2) GSE-2 (LN2) GSE-7 (CH4) The CH4 tanks will go. Not sure about the Nitrogen tanks. Keep an eye on the next few days.

    Why have they scrapped the GSE inner tank, they could of used it as water storage for fire system. They will probably need to have some somewhere at buikd site for ship factory & office block?.

    • @David-yo5ws

    i do wish there were a better way to heat shield the craft, that tiling seems enormously labour intensive. spray it on? i dunno.

    • @knowledgeisgood9645
      @knowledgeisgood9645 17 днів тому

      They would have if it were possible - it's not. Large shields crack and cause large parts to be unprotected. Small tiles are labour intensive, but it is supposed to be done once (to be reused without too many problems). They also need to be cheap, easy to remove and that they can be mass-produced.
