@@dirtnakedfarms yes I have a early 23. My dealer says they aren’t aware of any updates which is annoying . I’m chatting with ford now and they have no clue either
Bro you are the only guy on youtube that points out the seats, That is biggest thing in my opinion. I sold my '20 Denali due that very reason. Nice barn too man!
Finally! A non biased review! I’m not brand loyal either but the ride and comfort is where it’s at! GMC is in my opinion the best looking of the 3, Ram has the best interior, and Ford has the comfort, ride quality, and (reliability in most cases) over the other 2. Great video!
@@atg1338😂😂😂😂 I own one. Traded in my F250 and regret it. The seats suck and the ride quality isn’t as good. Yeah, I said it! Evidently you’ve never been behind the wheel of a ford!
Great Video. I waited over 2 years to get a Ford 2500 Limited, the order never got picked up. Switched to a '24 2500 GMC Ultimate. You are so right about the missing features and just things that could have been done or located better. From cupholders to brake controllers and the location of some of the controls. I like the truck, but it is far from perfect. But I guess what is?? Great to have a real world, side by side comparison . Keep it up with up dates
Totally agree with everything said. GM looks better, Ford is soooo much more comfortable. Those GM seats are the absolute worst seats I’ve ever sat in.
You are spot on about the GM truck seats. Flat and hard as a rock. Love that GM made a competitive interior to Ford and Ram, but they should've addressed seat comfort for sure. Ford does have the best seats in the HD class. That said, I love the 24+ GMC styling. They really knocked it out of the park. But in terms of power and towing, the Powerstroke is unsurpassed, but long-term, the GM may win out since the Duramax runs Denso HPFP and injectors, and not the CP4.
First, this channel is great, more. 2nd, how some random dude from Saskatchewan stumbles on a review video from another random dude in the Texas Panhandle is crazy. 😂. 3rd, keep reviewing these 2 trucks, as real world as you just did and this channel will explode. Best real world review I have seen in 2 years. Your assessment and opinions on what we actually do with these things was refreshing. Great job! (I also am a Ford guy driving a GMC. Ford could not get me what I wanted fast enough)
Love how honest this was! Great review. I know everyone will agree with the comfort of the trucks. I have been a GM guy all my life and I still love them but GM definitely needs to figure out their seats.
I looked at all 3 and went with a 2022 RAM 3500 Laramie CTD SRW. Like you said, they're all great trucks and it's all personal preference, but for me, the RAM was better in every way (interior, exterior, comfort, power, etc.). Plus, when I bought it a year ago, it was nearly $10,000 cheaper than a similarly equipped Ford or GMC (I know RAM has raised their prices since then). Enjoying the videos man! Happy New Year!
I rally like your honest review. I have owned two of the 2024 Ultimate Denalis and I wonder why a $100k+ truck has manual tilt wheel and no pedal adjustments… hmmm… both are really nice trucks… GMC nails it with the front end and Ford kills it with their seats.
Good to know! I rarely have the rear seats down on my crew cabs for things like an Iceco cooler and if it didn't fold away that would be a huge hindrance for me.
Interesting about the seats, you aren't alone in your comments. My butt is fine in them, been across the country a couple times. Both trucks are superb.
I've been with Ford since 1990. Switched to the GMC Denali Ultimate 3500 Long Box because Ford did not produce my 2023 F350 Limited 8' box. Ordered in for a 2024. I switched from GMC to Ford in 1990 because of the antilock brake system that kept failing the module on the master cylinder. GMC Pros: I think the Denali interior is awesome. Four months order to delivery. available Trailer camera system and I will use (awaiting my trailer now) Styling hands down Full box under the rear seat - included with the Denali Ultimate (probably could order and install on yours) GMC Cons: No place to tap in for switched power. Aux switches no available for the AT4 or the Denali or Denali Ulitmate. I heavily modified a 2023 aux switch kit to work. 36 gallon fuel tank no on board scale system Ford Limeted Pros: Why I want the Ford! 48 gallon fuel tank on board scale system Trailer backing system Panoramic roof Electronic locking rear axle More horsepower and torque with 3:31 geat gets better mileage than the GMC Ford Limeted Conns: Delievery time frame and broken promises from Ford
A lot of people have been heading over to GM. I had a 2020 Sierra 2500. Amazing truck. Until we had serious transmission harness and regeneration issues. Ended up with a 2022 Ram Lararmie midnight
I agree aabout the seats. I had to get custom seats installed with softer memory foam. The best investment i ever spent. Family loves to go long distance trips. Before the seats were un bareable
Almost everyone agrees about the seats being uncomfortable. Only a few love them, honestly I don't think they have ever sat in one of the newer Fords in a higher trim level.
I’ve had a F-250 for years and traded every 2 years. My last 3 I purchased were in the shop more than I drove them. My 2023 powerstroke upon taking ownership of it my drive shaft had rust all over it and also my front axle and hubs. I sold it when when 3rd gear shelled out at only 264 miles. I did order a 2024 powerstroke in December 2022 and still haven’t received it. So I’m done with Ford for the time being. And I do own a Cummins now 6spd . Just my opinion
Seats I would give to the ford. Ride quality I would give to the GMC. Exhaust break Ford. They are both great trucks, I just really hated the GM seats. Thanks for your comment! Cheers!
Spot on IMO. No haters. I tried getting a Ford but they couldn’t build it in time so got the Ultimate. There are trade offs as you say. Good and bad to both and I had a hard time choosing but the lack of Ford being able to build one was the deciding factor. Maybe that’s changed now.
Good review, from prior videos sounds like the SD you had wasn’t truly the one you wanted or ordered and I get it. I had to wait 2.5 years for my 23 SD F350 Platinum Tremor and I work for Ford.
I'm a Ford guy myself and although not having owned either of these trucks it seems you make great points on all sides, and you're objective. I agree on all your points as well. There are models of Fords that look better than the one here you had, however I like the grill and side profile on the GMC better. I just have never been able to get past those stupid ass looking mirrors GM threw on there. So ugly... I would definitely value more cabin storage, and seat comfort, personally, as I would use those the most. I do like the step on the tailgate in the Ford as well as the outlet in the bed. Idk, I want to try GM, but I really like what Ford does, and how they give you tons and tons of options. Great video, I enjoyed your take.
First time I pulled camper with my ultimate had the trailer brake controller issue so didn’t have any trailer brakes had to take it back in also had a bad front camera so collision light won’t go off dash
Great Review. Like you said its a personal preferable. Life long Ford guy here. Had 15’ SD 350 Platinum PS since new for 9-1/2 yrs great truck was time for a new one. Couldnt find a Ford that had what I wanted on it. Wasnt going to order one and wait. Also when I tried to make a deal on ones I was willing to settle for every ford dealer gave me $5k less for my trade than GM did, wouldnt budge either to beat GM or match ,crazy! I get a GM discount as well as a Ford. Drove that Denali and it just felt and looked right to me. Coming from my 9-1/2 yr old SD this was a step up. The ride is very nice and the features. Been very impressed so far. It has a plow package and I use my V plow for my driveway and it does as good if not better than my SD. The seats feel firmer than my SD but not horrible like some said. Maybe cuz mine was worn but in fabulous shape. There are a few things i dont care for, the power steering wheel ,pedals and the stalk placement to the screen but They all have some things we dont like but we live with it. Unfortunately cant be perfect. The transmission being collaborated with Ford and GM just the tuning is different makes me feel i still have a bit of Ford there lol. But over all I like the truck. Still a Ford guy GM second never a Ram lol but Ford didnt step to the plate cuz $5k on a truck that cost like this makes a big difference imo. I like my GMC Denali 3500 and boy do I get the very nice truck comments. Have a nice day and keep up the good work.
100% did the same Video.. I love the look of the new Denali.. I only kept the Denali for a few weeks.. Power, exhaust brake, comfort, and towing ford wins all day.. My 24 limited cluster stays on last setting. My 23 platinum did not
@4:33, you might want to check your programming/ options on your GMC for the preset memory function? I'm pretty sure you can set it up to do what the Ford does(minus the adjustable peddles of course). My 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT has that option to do so and I'm pretty sure a truck 15 years newer would also :-)
Went from 2024 SLT to 2023 Platinum and no regrets. The SLT seats are rocks, this is my 4th power stroke and I’ve learned my lesson to stick with ford for life
I don’t understand why people send you so much hate. It completely their choice where they spend their money! I appreciate the reviews you give. I am very loyal to Ford however I wanted a half ton diesel and think GM has a great power plant but seat comfort took me back to the f150.
Everyone is brand loyal even when they say they aren't. We own both and there will always be pros and cons. We have the gas versions 7.3 and 6.6 and did away with the diesels for our company. Pleased with both motors but the 7.3 pulls better but the GM drives slightly softer...It's all personal preference. For daily driving and more on long hauls I personally prefer the Fords comfort and convenances hands down but that GMC is the best looking truck to date.
I'm sure it's been mentioned in other comments, but the Ultimate has entry/exit seats like the Ford. Like you said, it does not have the electric pedals and steering wheel, but the auto entry/exit seats helps with that.
There’s a setting on the GMC with the seat that will move it back when the truck is off, and move to the set point once you turn it on. No idea what that doesn’t have a power adjustable steering column and wheel. My 22 1/2 ton AT4 does and that’s not as high of a trim level as the ultimate. I will say, one the seats break in, they are very comfortable, but it does take a minute. Beautiful trucks either way.
Your spot on. Those seats will make you not even want this truck....even if it tows more (IF), there's no point in riding uncomfortable. Hands down, Ford for comfort and GM for looks.
6 months ago I have bought my my new pick up 3500 very hard to decide between Denali and king ranch I have seen more confortable and spacious king ranch and I’m a tall person 6’2 and really happy with my selection I think both are great trucks 🙏🇧🇪
quick question...do they drive around town any different? Does the turning radius seem to be the same? Got a '23 king ranch tremor and sometimes it's a pain in tight places.
Appreciate the question. My 2020 lariat feels like it has a lot of plastic. Especially in/on the door. My last 2 platinums... were similar. I might give you a double reply on this one.
@@dirtnakedfarms thanks for getting back. I’m trying to decide where I’m going from here, I have a 19 Cummins 2500 and haul a heavy toy hauler. Need to get a 3500 and was looking into both the ford and gmc. So your opinion was highly valued here.
@mikehoncho4472 I used to have a momentum 320g. I had a '19 duramax dually that I used to pull it. If I was to do it again I would choose the ford just because of the seats. Especially if your going any kind of distance. Hope this helps. Happy New Year!
Do they share the same transmission shift, 10 AT GM/Ford transmission? And I like your point about the seats, you solved my question. Last year, I switched my family vehicle from Explorer Pt to Yukon DL; I always quickly feel tired while driving! My wife and I both feel it is easier and more comfortable to drive a Ford. We were thinking maybe it was just because of the larger vehicle size. Thankfully, you mentioned the seats! That's not a key point of a vehicle as a mechanism, but it's so important to the driver!
I have the 23 1500 AT4 which has the same cab and I'm actually cool with the lack of storage underneath the rear seats mainly because I don't have kids or anything so I keep my back seats folded up most of the time and it just creates more overall space for putting stuff back there on the floor. I also travel a lot so its nice having more room to put stuff like boxes or something that cant be left in the bed. Since you're a farmer, I understand why u don't like it. For the seats, they are firm but I still like them and I've driven from Florida to Colorado in it and it didn't bother me. My last truck was a 94 C1500 single cab so Its probably because that's my comparison lol.
I have a new 2023 ho tremor and i agree the seats are awesome in the ford but the whole my view crap drives me crazy its really my only complaint. Ive never noticed an issues with the front auto braking.
Great review on two very popular trucks. Most in the audience can't afford either truck so all the complaints are pointless! Your honest review should help perspective buyers in choosing the best truck for their needs. And as others have said, the seating issue is a big goof up by GM!!! I know I'd be pissed if I didn't find out about it before signing the contract!!! Well done! Don't worry about all the cry babies as there are plenty viewers out here who appreciate you candid reviews! 👍👍👍
I own a 2017 denali 1500 and I know what you mean about the seats, I have to use a lumbar cushion I got off amazon to use while I'm driving around all day so my legs don't go numb. I was thinking when I step up to a heavy duty it might be a ford f350 , but might look for a 2019 maybe 2020, I just don't want anything new, seems like I hear more people having newer ones in the shop more than pre covid models. I could be wrong, it's just what I hear.
Enjoy comparison from one that has used both… you made comment on Ft End being better on GM, but later indicated pedals & your height. Range of Physical Size Fitting and Visibility were strong design considerations on Super Duty; the angle / sloop of hood provides a much better forward view compared to taller & more flat hood. The lowered mirrors & shape of doors improve view to mirrors & side views. I personally like the new Ford "Limited" Ft End, gives a more luxury class view… it’s not as aggressive look as GM which many may prefer. Interior, the King Ranch / Platinum may have colors more prefer than Blue/Grey Limited… but the 3 Upper Ford Trims easily beat the GM’s Top 2 Trims. The adjustability of pedals & wheel, seat comfort, height & width of console, the seats able to fully lay out with center raising up, or overall interior size for a 6’8" guy is hands down better… coming from long time Owner of Jeep & GM on first ever Ford. Adding the HO 6.7, solid ft axle, 2 way Cabin controlled tailgate, tailgate down camera & sensors, huge sunroof, Full size box makes a Great Truck, the best Truck for my needs. Speaking of 10 speed Alison, Ford’s version is a lot more beefy and stronger components… coming from a few Tranny Techs that rebuild both. Like the New GM look but Ford’s Super Duty Limited has it for me!
Honestly this is the first HD GMC in a few years thats actually great looking. Both good trucks. I’d go super duty just because I’ve owned both and prefer the Ford because of blind spots and comfort
That's really weird cuz the power seat options the automatically adjust as well as the power adjustable pedals. I have both those on my 2017 Duramax factory so I have no idea why they wouldn't be on that truck
I have the same complaint about the seats on my 2023 Yukon Denali! Chevy/GMC used to have the most comfortable seats but now they are not. I will be trading at some point due to seat comfort!
They both hover around that 100k price range. Only 110k sticker I know of would be a F450 on the ford. If I remember correctly the GMC here sticker was 97k.
Just rented a ‘23 suburban and as the owner of a ‘21 expedition I can agree the GM 10 speed shifts better. That’s pretty much all I liked about it though. It looks good. The seats are horrendous. The vinyl seats in my XL 250 work truck are more comfortable!
In Oct I traded my 2020 High Country HD for a 24 AT4 HD. Zero issues with seats. I’m 6’3” 235lbs. Maybe it’s the persons size that affects comfort? No idea. Hear that complaint a lot on various vids.
Im with you, spot on! I own a 2024 GMC 2500 AT4, and just like my most recent trade in 2019 Chevy 2500 High Country, the seats are trash. Ford has better seats all the way.
I agree with you on the seats. I have a 2023 gmc 1500 and the seats suck. I travel a lot and do a lot of sleeping inside the truck. I always have a hard time falling asleep and when I finally do the damn truck shuts off every 30 minutes so I either wake up cold or sweating. Looks are gorgeous but comfort wise it sucks
Probably the GMC just because of the ride quality. Something funny, I had to get a lyft ride today. It was a Cadillac Escalade, and it had awesome seats, so maybe they will update at some point.
The seats are personal preference cause not everyone likes a plush seat. The storage on the GM is meant to have the extra floor space for when the seats flipped up for a dog. My 2012 Duramax has a ton of space for a full grown german shepherd. I’m a GM guy who watches all the Superduty and Cummins videos cause I like to see what they all offer. I would still take the L5P over both. The AT4X HD would be my ultimate truck.
Thank you for being honest. Iv been brand loyal to superdutys all my life but iv been thinking about going gmc for several reasons mainly due to i hate aluminum and some i interior quality issues . The seats are a common complaint. Not sure what im going to do. Regardless all of them are way overpriced and from what iv looked into all of them have quality issues
Hey man enjoyed the video! Am really comparing the two when I go to buy. We get a ford discount at our work so I was leaning towards Ford anyway but really love how gmc looks. I know you haven’t posted recently but are your opinions still the same on the GMC? Have yet to get in. GMC but test drove a 24 F250 Platinum in the regular 6.7 and enjoyed that. Just was curious on your thoughts a few months later towing, driving etc and if your planning to go back to Ford. Thanks! Dawson
Hey, thank you so much for making this video. I have been trying to decide between the GMC and Ford product for the past year. But do you feel like the Ford products have trouble finding the right gear, like it is always clunking??
Ford is having a lot of transmission problems right now. My Dads limited that’s in this video is having major issues right now. Our dealership is hoping it completely thrashes soon for a full replacement. So at this point in time it might be wise to consider a duramax over the Ford.
@@dirtnakedfarmsthanks for your insight and for your honest review. A lot of these car/truck reviews are just showcases and ppl telling you how amazing the vehicle is. I noticed in your Raptor R video you also had an expedition, does that clunk on you? I really wanna trade my 2020 expedition for a suburban, but was hoping the newer models of expedition fixed the transmission issues.
They have transmission problem on the super duty too? I have a 21 F150 3.5 and the only thing I hate is the transmission so I’ve been looking to upgrade to either the F350 platinum tremor or the Denali ultimate 3500.
@@davidchen8146 The ‘23 did. Not sure if they fixed it yet. My Dads truck (the limited in this video) is still having issues. A quick online search says it’s ford having trouble with the pcm. Sometimes it shifts really hard, other times there’s a bad delay. Not sure about the’24s
I had the ford and went ram because of the powerstroke issues. I was a ford guy through snd through but the ram wins for my needs. I do only use it for towing so I was worried about getting stranded far from home with a camper snd family
I had a Ram for a short time. It was a nice truck, I really liked the auto air suspension. It was the ho with asin. I wish they would come out with a 10-speed transmission.
@dirtnakedfarms funny you say that. I do transmission repair for a living and I believe ram hasn't considered it because the torque band is so wide. One thing I'm not sure if gm does yet is gear canceling. I could limit my ford and ram to never shift above a certain gear, and still do like 1st-4th. But the newest gm I drove only lets you manual shift, you can't turn off 8th-10th like if you're on a 45mph stop and go road with a big load.
How do they ride in comparison? I believe the GMC has an independent front suspension. I had to get rid of my 2019 F350 because it felt like a covered wagon on cobblestone road. I am also a Ford guy. Have owned a lot of Raptors and Super Duty’s.
GMC hands down has the better ride..... Less road walk and just smoother all the way around. I have had a raptor as well, just no comparison...... Love Ford, still run almost all ford but GMC takes the win on ride quality. Thanks!!!!
@@dirtnakedfarmsi keep seeing people say this but I yest droce a Checy 2500 LT, a 3500 LTz, and currently own an F350 Lariat and my Lariat rides and drives better than both those Chevy's (thats part of the reason i went with it). I guess everyone is different but it's just weird constantly hearing people say the IFS significantly increases ride quality ocer the SFA but it seems toe like with trucks this heavy, the SFA provides a more planted, solid feel that stays on track better, and axtually spreads out the shock of large road imperfections to the point where it dulls them overall, instead of most of the shock being concentrated in one place with the IFS.
I have a 2500 Ultimate too. I absolutely love love it, but agree the seats are less comfortable than the Ford I traded from. They’re too flat maybe? Everything else is incredible though (at least it has been for the 11 months I’ve had it)
Agreed. I have a 2019 3500 Denali and I like it as my farm truck other than the front suspension. It’s junk. 2020+ GM seats well….they just as well mount 5 gallon buckets in there and legitimately claim “bucket seats”. The visibility from a GM sucks compared to Ford. As a farm truck, Ford hands down is way more truck. The solid front axle just goes forever. My 2019 GM gets a front suspension rebuild every 25k to 30k miles. It can’t handle the abuse. RAM isn’t terrible, the Cummins is just gutless
The seat memory just needs to be set on your GMC and it will function exactly like the ford. Also I remove the stupid box and there’s tons of space under the seat. And I would definitely trade the death wobble Ford for GMC IFS any day. Also the adjustable pedals is an option you just didn’t get it because I had it in my 17 1500.
There both nice to me, im gmc biased cause we use them at work. If im looking to buy one as a personal truck i would like to know witch one is more reliable.
I have ran both. My '19 GMC Dmax I had a lot of issues with the coolant/radiator. It was at the dealership around 5 times before it hit 10k miles. After they got the issues fixed it was fine. As for ford I have never had any issues with the power stroke. Even the 6.0 that everyone complained about, I was able to hit 100k easily without ever seeing the shop on multiple trucks.
Traded my 24 dmax at4 in for a 23 f250 powerstroke . Dmax had horrible brakes and exhaust brake. Absolutely horrible mpg on the dmax and towing was embarrassing. I think the dmax looks way better in and out than the f250 but that’s it.
The seats in Ford trucks are next level! The seats in the new F-150’s are like LazyBoys. 🤤 it’s too bad Ford really screwed up the looks on this update. The ‘22s were the perfect truck!
I just bought my first 2020 f250 lariat and it is lifted with wheels. I've put dual steering stabilizers on it , but I can't stand the solid axle front suspension. I drive so much highways with my trailer and it sucks sometimes. Ford does look better though.

They are both really nice trucks!
How’s the ride quality compare? Always liked the rack & pinion steering feel on the GMs way more
@epap1375 GMC still wins on ride quality. My 23 350 felt much stiffer in the rear compared to previous years.
Totally agree with everything said. GM looks better, Ford is soooo much more comfortable. Those GM seats are the absolute worst seats I’ve ever sat in.
Test drove a Checy 3500 LTZ a couple weeks back. The second I sat down in the seat I was like "NOPE" lol what are they thinking?
Sold my 23 ultimate for 24 platinum
Why?
Front seat comfort
GM front seats too hard and bottom section too short
We might be brothers.... J/K Thanks for the comment... Cheers!
I just bought my 24 Denali and I'm thinking Ford for 2025
Went from 2018 F350 king ranch to 2024 gmc ultimate, what a mistake
I have the ultimate and a Ram Long horn. The Ram is like driving in my living room! Love both for different reasons.

I rally like your honest review. I have owned two of the 2024 Ultimate Denalis and I wonder why a $100k+ truck has manual tilt wheel and no pedal adjustments… hmmm… both are really nice trucks… GMC nails it with the front end and Ford kills it with their seats.
Thanks for the comparison!
Amen brother.....One of the reasons i sold my Cadillac SRX was because the seats suck. Long trips were awefull and ended up always taking my truck.
Where ford’s underseat storage really wins out is that it can fold away if you don’t want to use it
Good to know!
GMC Pros:
I think the Denali interior is awesome.
Four months order to delivery.
available Trailer camera system and I will use (awaiting my trailer now)
Styling hands down
Full box under the rear seat - included with the Denali Ultimate (probably could order and install on yours)
GMC Cons:
No place to tap in for switched power. Aux switches no available for the AT4 or the Denali or Denali Ulitmate. I heavily modified a 2023 aux switch kit to work.
36 gallon fuel tank
no on board scale system
Ford Limeted Pros: Why I want the Ford!
48 gallon fuel tank
on board scale system
Trailer backing system
Panoramic roof
Electronic locking rear axle
More horsepower and torque with 3:31 geat gets better mileage than the GMC
Ford Limeted Conns:
Delievery time frame and broken promises from Ford
That fuel tank on the ford in a lwb..... I cannot believe GMC/Ram is still so small..... Thanks for the comment!
A lot of people have been heading over to GM. I had a 2020 Sierra 2500. Amazing truck. Until we had serious transmission harness and regeneration issues. Ended up with a 2022 Ram Lararmie midnight
I have a 21 GMC Denali 2500 and this review is spot on the seats are nice but are not the most comfortable as they should be GM has to get this right
Many have agreed with me. Happy New Year!!!
Honesty is everything.
Cheers BRO
Thanks for your personal review! I agree I have both trucks! Ag Idaho in Idaho.
What's your opinion of the seats and ride quality? Also the exhaust breaking and trany.
Seats I would give to the ford. Ride quality I would give to the GMC. Exhaust break Ford. They are both great trucks, I just really hated the GM seats. Thanks for your comment! Cheers!
I appreciate you, great video!!!
I did the same cause of lack of fords.
Good review, from prior videos sounds like the SD you had wasn’t truly the one you wanted or ordered and I get it. I had to wait 2.5 years for my 23 SD F350 Platinum Tremor and I work for Ford.
I might have something in the works, wink wink!
I appreciate your words. Very well spoken.
@dirtnakedfarms no problem! Have a great week.
I'm a Ford guy - the GMC looks x 10 better.
I love that garage. Now I need one.
100% did the same Video.. I love the look of the new Denali.. I only kept the Denali for a few weeks.. Power, exhaust brake, comfort, and towing ford wins all day.. My 24 limited cluster stays on last setting. My 23 platinum did not
I am told some of the earlier 23's need an update. Haven't confirmed yet. Happy New Year!!!
Ultimate HD GMC has massaging front seats and you can get a bigger storage box under the back seat. I have both in my truck!
I had the massaging seats... Didn't get the storage box in rear..... Ford to me still wins in the rear :) Just go test drive one.
Recently found your channel but enjoying your videos!
Appreciate you!!! Happy New Years!!!
The SLT seats are rocks, this is my 4th power stroke and I’ve learned my lesson to stick with ford for life
Me too!
I don’t understand why people send you so much hate. It completely their choice where they spend their money! I appreciate the reviews you give. I am very loyal to Ford however I wanted a half ton diesel and think GM has a great power plant but seat comfort took me back to the f150.
I have a 2019 Chevy 2500 high country, seats are hard as a rock and i am 250lbs, so i am used to them. Thinking of upgrading to the Nali Ultimate
Its a sweet truck. I just really dislike the seats!
I'm nearly 6k in and trying to love it.... Seats are so stiff. Thanks for the comment! Cheers!!!!!!
How many miles dose the ford have?
As of today the ford has about 20k miles. It’s having some serious transmission problems. I’m planning on posting an update soon.
@@dirtnakedfarms well I was about to trade in my f150 for a f250 not sure if I will now
Your top 4 viewed videos are about trucks. So obviously we like the truck content, we just also like to give our personal opinions as well
Your spot on.
Good honest review. I own or have owned all of em and they all have good points and bad.
Well said! Cheers!!!
quick question...do they drive around town any different? Does the turning radius seem to be the same? Got a '23 king ranch tremor and sometimes it's a pain in tight places.
Appreciate the review.
Question for you in regards to the Ford.
Do the interiors feel like cheep plastics compared to the gmc?
@@dirtnakedfarms it does greatly! Thank you, happy new year to you as well friend.
Seats. How do the seats feel and compare after like 100,000 miles is the question.
They should be good right out of the box. Why should one need to drive 100k before the seats become comfortable 🤔
How about the fuel economy, mpg ?
Thank you.
The denali sits around 17. With the ford it was 18-21. I would say the ford is better overall but just slightly
Thank you for the fast response. 🙏
@@sorinmiller You bet! Happy New Year!
Good reveiw. Thanks
That's not a key point of a vehicle as a mechanism, but it's so important to the driver!
on my new 24 i only have to push the button once. just to clear the seatbelts. it goes right to fuel economy
Gm hasn’t had adjustable pedals since the new Sierra/silvardo in 2019, it’s something I don’t understand.
I totally agree.... It makes 0 sense to me.
I’m a GM sales person and I swear to god there’s memory seats and power steering wheel adjuster, I am in Canada might be different in the states
The under seat box on the ford folds down if you want a flat floor.
Spot on man!
@@dirtnakedfarmsgreat video! Appreciate it!
That's really weird cuz the power seat options the automatically adjust as well as the power adjustable pedals. I have both those on my 2017 Duramax factory so I have no idea why they wouldn't be on that truck
They stopped the adjustable pedals several years ago. Not sure the exact date
I have the same complaint about the seats on my 2023 Yukon Denali! Chevy/GMC used to have the most comfortable seats but now they are not. I will be trading at some point due to seat comfort!
Happy New Year!!!
What is the price difference in the two of those trucks I know the Ford goes up to 110 thousand how much is a GMC ultimate HD 2500 diesel
They both hover around that 100k price range. Only 110k sticker I know of would be a F450 on the ford. If I remember correctly the GMC here sticker was 97k.
Limited by far. Way more comfortable, more power
I bought the denali ultimate and im still thinking about the platinum massage seats.
Try putting the truck in neutral with the parking brake on it won’t shut off ….
They are really stiff and uncomfortable. I'm right there with you.
If the GMC had just as comfortable seats as the Ford, which truck would you prefer?
Probably the GMC just because of the ride quality. Something funny, I had to get a lyft ride today. It was a Cadillac Escalade, and it had awesome seats, so maybe they will update at some point.
@@dirtnakedfarms I have the same GMC you have and think it's the best looking truck out there.
You have just as much room in the ford for rear floorspace if not more when the seats are flipped up, I truly think its the storage box.
Nope. The box in the ford fold down of u need the floor space. U get even more floor space then the Denali after that
Bigger rear under seat storage means smaller open storage space in rear seat
I think the ford has more floorboard space in the back even with the larger box
I dont know if its the truth but i did hear that the gm seats have to have some sitting time in them to soften the foam.
But the Ford is like a recliner off the lot.... just saying... .Cheers!
@@dirtnakedfarms i have heard that.
Thanks!
Dawson
Should have a video up later, I mentioned you in it. Hope that was ok. 😎
@@dvil51 I’m uploading a video tonight just for you!
How is the adaptive cruisw control on them? What about lane centering (if they have it) is it good?
Its good on both. They work really well. Cheers!
WHY didn’t GMC continue the Vader chrome on the rest of the truck!?!? Window trim, side mirrors, etc. it’s half a$$ looking.
Honestly I like the stiffer gm seats I dunno why lol
Best review 😮
My GMC seats are programmed and stay where I want them, however the seats are not very comfortable
Everything else is incredible though (at least it has been for the 11 months I’ve had it)
Great video not long at all but you had when you said Ram
Lol thanks! Happy New Year!!!
U didn’t even mention the massage seats. Damn they’re good after a long day of trucking
Them ford massage seats... omg.... Cheers!
RAM isn’t terrible, the Cummins is just gutless
my ultimate has the same storage as that ford. i guess it’s an extra it came with
I'm not sure, someone had mentioned a after market in the comments previously
The seat memory just needs to be set on your GMC and it will function exactly like the ford. Also I remove the stupid box and there’s tons of space under the seat. And I would definitely trade the death wobble Ford for GMC IFS any day. Also the adjustable pedals is an option you just didn’t get it because I had it in my 17 1500.
You can't get adjustable pedals in a 2024.
Ford really screwed tha pooch on that new redesign. That GMC wins the look category by a long shot.
Great video 😊
Your so right about the seats General Motors seats are absolutel garbage.
Traded my 24 dmax at4 in for a 23 f250 powerstroke . Dmax had horrible brakes and exhaust brake. Absolutely horrible mpg on the dmax and towing was embarrassing. I think the dmax looks way better in and out than the f250 but that’s it.
nice trucks, what kinda business are you guys in?
I'm a broke farmer.
If it drives bad someone probably put a cheap lift on it and didnt put the camber shims in
Dual steering stabilizers are pointless. Get a really good single unit or go with a PSC hydraulic assisted gear box.
I drove the same truck as that Denali let me tell you its like driving a forklift i got tiered pretty quick the first mile its just to uncomfortable
LOL! I couldn't agree more! Thanks for the comment! Cheers!
