You make it look easier than i imagine. Seriously your path looks easy compared to some of the places we have here in Australia, as you know. But i do understand that looks are decieving. Beautiful scenery that i can only dream of and remember from stories my Nan told me. Love your videos. Stay safe
We were quite fit back then in hindsight haha 😂 but I am very excited for the good weather again next year when we can get back out on the hills like this! Australia is INCREDIBLE when it comes to natural beauty, we miss it a lot ❤️
I am beaming with pride for you guys here! CONGRATS!!! JOB WELL DONE!! You both are legends, full stop. This is as brilliant any inspirational nature/ hike documentary that you'd see on the telly!! @14:25 is just one of the scenes that gave me chills. I cannot get over this. Cheers you two
Amazing, thank you so much 😁 It was a tough one but we both loved it and cant wait to do more in future! Thanks again for watching as always ❤️ stay safe!
Loved this video more like these please 😀 I’ve not been following for long , but bothies camping outdoors wild swims Munro’s all that ⛰🏴💙🥾defs xx
Well done guys, haven't done 44K in a LONG time, but the smash potato tasted great at the end of a 25-mile day, i remember that much, and sore legs the next day!
Found this as I was looking through videos of walking the Lairig Ghru and really enjoyed it. Great job, both in walking commitment and making the film along the way!! I know nothing about making a film beyond trying to film my dog doing daft things with my kids, but I can't imagine this threw itself together without a lot of your time, effort, and skill. 👍👍👍👍👍
You two are legends, we are soooo proud of you both. We were feeling pretty good with our effort last weekend of 15kms hike in Mt Augustus in Western Australia, but after watching this video of yours, we are feeling inspired again, to do more. Look after you feet, and if you find a good hiking shoe, let us know!
Aw thank you so much guys!! Really appreciate the support ❤️ That is so good though! Hiking in Australia is NOT easy, so hot and tough terrain! Haha we got a new pair each out of Millets (a local outdoors shop). Well chuffed as they only cost £60 each!
@@highlands2hammocks yes, hiking is an experience like no other here in Australia, we can't do any more this year, as its getting too hot. I'll do some research on that brand of boot, thankyou for the info.
Hari Om Gargh! There once were days when I would have taken that on... those days are long gone and I am now adding to the weight in that camera as I ride along with you through the ether!!! Well done you two. YAM xx
It was a tough one haha I just need a better bag, maybe one that doubles as a both a hiking bag and camera bag! Thank you so much 😁 really appreciate the support!
Hi guys just come across your blogs. Brilliant May I say, on 60 retired looking to buy a motorhome to tour the uk. What would you guys say the monthly running costs are.
First of all wrong boots, socks and definitely backpacks! Secondly, it's a challenging, but it's not that hard 😮 Ive done it few weeks ago with 10kg backpack, walking from Braemar to Aviemore with one stop at the bothy for a meal and coffee. Day later other way from Aviemore to Braemar. I'm 46 years old... You are giving wrong message to other people considering doing this trail.
Oh boy you did so well….you two are great, an inspiration. You did make me laugh out loud carrying your food to the table. God bless you both x
Thank you 😁 was definitely a tough one for us but we are excited to get out more next year
