You shot that video in FHD not even UHD WOOOOOW... that camera is literally insane.. the colors are beautiful!! The literal best colors I have ever seen.. better than Canon and of course better than Sony.. Question : is this possible also with the S1 or just the S1H? Clarity on the question; could you have done this exact video with the S1?
Yes I do , i should had mentioned it . This full frame to pixel to pixel mode is also on the S1 so yes. I could had achieved the exact same result on the S1 absolutely. ;-)
@@BernardBertrand did you see the Sony A7siii Launch? What are your thoughts on that camera vs the S1 and S1H? Really what are your thoughts on the colors from Panasonic vs. Sony.. Am I the only one that has never seen such beautiful colors as is on the Panasonics I mean I can't say that I have ever seen colors like this in my life the images and colors produced by these Panasonic S cameras are literally unparalleled. But im no expert but wow to my eye it is marvelous. and the Vlog seems so wonderful to grade. I know you are a Panasonic ambassador so maybe your answer must filter through that reality but if we are being honest all biases aside the ONLY thing these S line cameras lack is proper Autofocus.. If they had good autofocus I don't see anyone staying with canon or sony.. the colors here in the Panasonic are really that good to my eye. Am i wrong here? can those other cameras be graded to meet this level of beauty or do you find my comments to be accurate?
Hi Jan, well interesting question, and I got a flat answer here, the Lumix S1H for sure, extremely versatile, the EVA is an excellent camera, no doubt but I love the S1H for every specificity it has. :-)
Is there a reason why you might recommend the f4 vs 2.8 versions of the lens? Next year I’ll film a handful of weddings but I’m actually more interested in the lumix 70-200 to use on my B cam for interviews. My a cam will be the Bs1h w/lumix 24-70 and my b cam is s1h. For interviews, am I missing out a lot going with the f4 version instead 2.8? Do you wish you had the 2.8 version instead?
When I did shoot those shoots I only had the f4 , it is does it all really well, now I got both and the f2.8 is superior obviously a pro lens, on those specific shots I did , the f4 is perfect, as you do not want to be all the way opened in such a close up shots. For interviews I would go for the f 2.8 to get my subject out of a blury background thanks to the super narrow d.o.f.
@@BernardBertrand thanks for such a quick reply! Any chance you could a video comparing both lenses but video focused? There’s not much on YT that I can find to compare them. I was leaning towards the 2.8 but most often I do step down my lenses do help keep the subject more in focus. For example, this week I used the 85 1.8 and had it at 2.8….I think I just answered my own question lol thanks man and when you revealed this was 8bit standard profile hd, my mind exploded and my ego went out the window lol freaken amazing results man!!!!
@@ChrisFlores22 Honestly, I was also impressed myself to tell you the truth. Standard photo style , out of the camera, the only adjustment I did was using a LUT from Lutify.me bimboumbam that was it :)

If I understand well, with a S1R in 4K recording, the pixel to pixel would be totally crazy in terms of zooming effect? Am I right?
