Arguably my favorite Route theme from Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald! This track (not this cover, but a different arrangement) will be on my upcoming RSE album for sure.
Oh yeah, I haven't spoken about that yet.
Around the end of August or the beginning of September, I will be releasing an album of tracks from Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald! There will be about 9-10 tracks of my usual arrangements of tracks from the Hoenn region, with better quality than the stuff I have on UA-cam already! GET HYPED.
Back to this tune. I took a similar approach to this tune as I did to Route 209, while incorporating my trademark references to other tunes! See if you can name them. Enjoy!

It actually took me a moment to hear it...and remember it. This is one of my favourite songs simply because of how it comes in, there's a rainy route and you cross a bridge and suddenly there's sun and you hear this come out.

Even 2 years ago, your arrangements were so sophisticated and complex. This especially is just really beautiful.

One of the most memorized routes I remember. Mostly due to Absol, but also because it's fricken alive!
It's that new supertall grass again, but now with a freakin' weather change! THAT CHANGES YET AGAIN! It really makes you think the world is breathing as you continue on your adventure of grinding phat exp.

this theme is what turned hoenn around for me. by the time i got to fortree city in emerald, i was getting tired. decided i wasn't strong enough for the gym yet, so went to route 120 to train. thank god i did

This is just a perfect cross between Pokemon and like unused Sims 1 music, fantastic and easily worth relistens. IM COMMANDER SWIGGLES AND THIS ALBUM IS MY FAVORITE ON THE CITADEL!

I am absolutely in awe of your piano skills man :O This has never been one of my favourite route themes (Route 110 represent) but you just made it climb a few spots. Just magnificent. And ending it with a reprise of Route 209 was the cherry on the top of the cake of awesome piano playing.

I would've asked this on the AMA, but I didn't think of the question at the time, buuut...
At what point did you say to yourself: "Okay, I think I am good enough at playing the piano to start sharing it with people on UA-cam."? If you can put that in words, that is. You can tell me in music theory lingo, since I learned that back in Middle School. I've been taking lessons for about a month now, and it's really fun, and I thought it would be kind of interesting to do something like this.

I don't think there's really a specific point per se. It's not about being at a certain skill level. If I were you, I would start uploading now. You have nothing to lose, might as well start somewhere. Eventually, you can gain a decent following and learn how to express yourself better through the music you're creating!

This is my favorite region, you are so talented omg. * - * Totally jealous of your skills. My parents never had me learn piano. :( Now that I look back though, I would rather learned sax than piano (it's much more practical) but I wish I knew a little something on the piano... :/ Great job though! the sheets you can see on the piano are ones i transcribed myself, but there's a copy of an arrangement of this tune on NinSheetMusic, google it. As for my exact arrangement, i pretty much improvised it, so there's no sheets.
