I'm about to service my Mazda 3 2010 model for the first time, can't afford to have someone else do it and also it's time I learned. Mine is basically the same as this car, I'm going to be checking over this video heaps, cheers!
Ambient heat, that your car is operating in. See the manual… specifically the owner maintenance section > engine oil. there should be a graph with all the ambient temperatures you are likely to operate in… temp indicates the SAE oil grade recommended.
Look up videos on how to do it. People who say "dont do it, it'll last its life time" all fluent gets old and losses its heating purposes.. thats why in manual cars you also change trans fluid every 20k-30k. Just get the right brand and you'll be alright
@@foordoffroad8915 I guess I didn't really register it was in park haha. I don't know why I thought it was in gear baha 🤣🤣 I bet mine does the same thing

Thank you so much for the sharing mate! Big Thumb-Up from SA!
Thanks for the video man it’s a good one. I’m confused though. My car’s manual says 0W-20 not 5W-40. Please help me understand what’s going on here.

Great and informative video! But what’s the engine size for this car?
I think it’s 1.8
Standard- 2.0L
Upgraded SP25 models- 2.5L
Damn I want my Mazda to sound like that 👀 Is it just a muffler delete or?
Yeah I just cut out the center muffler
Hey br0 sweet ride for the missus and great guide. Will you be planning to do a transmission fluid guide too?
Check cabin filter and clean throttle body by timely and lube all the rubber parts and brushes and check transmission oil and tighten underbody nuts
So cool. Thanks for your help 🎉

Hello. Where is the MAP Sensor? Do you have a video on where to find it?

Hi..what about the fuel filter, I have a 2012 as well but can't locate the fuel filter..cheers
Either in tank filter or under some plastic guards near the right rear wheel
Do you change the automatic transmission fluid ?

Were you hitting limiter at around 5k? Cause my skyactiv hits it about 7k. I'm confused haha
When in park it’s lower then any other gear on the 3
No idea why

Are you in Europe? I am in England, do I use 5w30 or 40?
The land down under mate
Won’t make a difference, if you’ve got high km then go 5w40 but both oils will suit fine
Helpful content, though the shot of you under the car at around 2:46 gave me claustrophobic anxiety
Italian tune up at 0:20 lol
lol getting high rpm in low temp wtf xD
It’s only a Mazda she’ll be right
@@foordoffroad8915 I wouldn't do that if I was you
@@alangonzalez5024 so don’t do that then
