- Hey everybody, welcome back,
With the extra warmth and sunshine over the past week, plants have responded very nicely indeed with the tomato harvest and other crops continuing along with some great colour there. Really enjoying this time as we know the cooler weather and shorter days are on the way 🍅🍅
Thanks as always for watching, do leave a comment and of course like and subscribe to catch our updates on all things gardening.
All the best for now,

Just lovely to see Hugh .... and 26 as a harvest, fabulous!💚
Thanks Creo, yes it's a great harvest isn't it, and we have had lots of growing fun along the way! All the best there
I am totally understanding that idea, I buy peppers and sometimes brassicas as starters it’s just easier. And I tell new gardeners before spending an arm and a leg on seed buy a few starters and find out what does well and what you eat. It’s all looking stunning Huw of the Jungle 😂😂. Happy gardening 👩🌾, Ali 🌥️🇨🇦
'Huw of the jungle' 🤣🤣Sounds like I should have that on a t-shirt Ali! Yes, great advice for beginners (and even some more experienced folks too!). Have a great weekend there Ali, Hugh 😊👍🏻👌🏻
Looking good there buddy. We'll have to change your channel name to "Horti Hugh's Jungle" LOL
Lol! That's the way to have if for sure - thanks for stopping by Steve
As always everything is looking lovely and tomatoes galore like you have said with all the sunshine.
♻️Happy gardening, Terry King.
Thanks for stopping by Terry, all the best there, Hugh 😊👍🏻
@@HortiHugo 👍🍅🍅🍅👍
So so beautiful 🤩
Thank you Susie 😊👌🏻
Time is the ultimate commodity, great decision in your situation. We're so new growing from seed is great, but a worthwhile consideration as time passes.
I love that the answer to every gardening questions, is, "it depends" lol
"More shaken than stirred" awesome
Those peppers are great.
Grapes looks delicious!!
Cheers Hugh 🌱🤞👍
Well said, time is such a commodity, isn't it, and how we plan makes such a difference! We suspect that next year here, we'll do some sowing, and some purchase of plants, a blending of past few years, as there are some varieties you just cannot buy. Yes, we've had some nice success with the peppers and grapes despite the wet summer. Hope you guys have a good weekend there 😊😎👍🏻👌🏻
@@HortiHugo you'll have it "down" in just another couple decades Hugh😂😂
In all seriousness, isn't that the huge attraction to it all :)
If you cut off the tops of the potatoes and just lay a mesh cover over the pots would that work?
Clever thinking on covering the pots, have used similar system for Tulip bulbs before so think you're on to something! All the best there, Hugh
