James, can you please tell me what you decided to do with the bed that had the little white bugs/worms in it? I found out I have the same issue and hate to think how I’d discard all of my soil.
I don't think I've ever seen a dog that would eat fresh veggies right out of a garden! He's amazing and so very cute!! You've got a good friend there!! 😊
Your videographer is doing an awesome job catching all the beauties in the back drop of the shots. The flowers and ripe tomatoes etc.and much love to Tuck the guardian and your boss😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I planted peas in my tomato pots last week. They have come up, now, and I left my tomato cages in the pots for the peas to run on. I am still working on my little garden with my Mantis. I have several new apple trees to plant in the back yard and want to watch UGA play SC, today. I was in the Class of ‘67 at UGA which ended up being the Class of ‘73 thanks to the Vietnam War. I am a US Marine which is why it took me ten Years to get my BA and it is not in underwater basket weaving or advanced pencil sharpening.
as a former jersey gardener i appreciate your zone 7a productions! now in alabama i still am a 7! your dog is a riot! is he a total vegetarian? hope he gets meat sometimes! (you aren't raising chickens, are you?_ i was kindof pleased with myself that i have planted about half of your recommendations already and will go pop some more in - but the reason i'm writing is that i couldn't decide whether to watch a quilting video or you - i chose you and lo! and behold!! what am i doing but watching BOTH! the closed captioning which amuses me wonderfully - has you 'sewing' seeds all over the place! SEWING! ROFL! that's all - best of luck with NJ weather - i am frying down here with my containers on the patio (50 of them!! i'm handicapped and elderly) my best crop this year was tomato worms. YECH - they got my plants before i did - hoping they will come back quick . but i have horseradish, ginger, garlic, chives, basil, green beans, flowers! lots of zinnias for the pollinators....
I just sowed seeds for kohlrabi, Pak Choi, Brunswick Cabbage, Komatsuna golden beets and Yellow Heart Winter Choy, taking advantage of cooler temperatures. I need to get my lettuce going, so will plant tomorrow. Germination here in Alabama has been a problem with the heat. It has been too hot for germination, even in the shade. The forecast is for the heat to return with temps in the mid to upper 90s in a week. The way the weather looks, I won't be able to plant carrots until October. The temperature needs to be below 85F.
It's cute how your dog is just munching on the beans. Did you learn how to talk to the birds yet? I can hear them in the background wanting to get a shoutout in your video. The birds all know me where I live cause I've spent years trying to learn their language and it's awesome cause they'll recognize me all over town and start shouting out and getting all excited to see me.
Dude! So much information. I'm. Blown away. Being a novice at gardening it's a little overwhelming but I think this one video gave me enough to consider to keep me busy for awhile. You're a great find. 👍
Love💖💕💖 for Tuck and Thank you James for always keeping us posted on what to grow and when. Love your special fertilizer mix my garden is growing huge vegetables thank you thank you thank you.! 💖🫶🏼
Here in Phoenix, our 2nd Summer(Autumn) is starting soon and everything that didn't burst into flames, are now giving me a vine jungle. I'm talking Watermelon, Squash, Cantaloupe, Tomato, Pumpkin. Now I'm praying for no bugs. My garden shelters many geckos that come out at night to eat bugs.
Have you ever told us the story of Tuck 🙂he is just perfect and so lucky he has a variety in the garden to choose from 💜💜💜-I just saw the video where you tell us about his condition 😢sorryyyy -he is the heart of the channel 🤍
I cannot get over the size of your radishes! They are huge! Tucker really loves his veggies, sending him lots of love ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Garden is a great distraction for me. I’m battling breast cancer at the moment. It’s just nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the raised beds. Give Tuck a hug from all of us ♥️
💜💜💜 love seeing Tuck in the garden! I wish I could show your videos to my patients! You and Tuck could inspire them to get outside and grow something! 😇 I'm inspired to keep trying! 👩🏽🌾
Here in Florida 9b we are heading into an awesome growing time. Our frost dates are January 3rd-30th, so plenty of time. This summer has been brutal with the heat and humidity. Evenings are about the only time I can stand being out in my garden. So, I have seeds going inside to plant out when the weather gets better. I love your videos and your gardens are gorgeous. And, of course, your 'boss' Tuck is a treasure.
9:12 Finally found Gnome...😂 Love ❤for tuck...get best information about planting vegetables...❤ One question... which app/website for find first Frost Date...?
My 17 lb peekapoo, Zoey, loves to come out in the garden with me as well. I wish she would eat veg like Tuck does! Love watching your videos, so entertaining, educational and fun. Thank you!
Tuck is the cutest! My neighbor's little dog comes over and hangs out with me in the garden. I offer her different vegetables, but she won't touch them. She doesn't eat fruit either as I've offered her blackberries. She says "NO thank you". I don't know how Tuck learned to love vegetables, but he is amazing to watch. Such a smart little guy. 🙂❤️
Watch the blueberries. I dropped some on the kitchen floor one morning, and my cat ate them. After 900.00 dollar Vets bill that won't happen again. He had urinary track inflamed. Not good for them.
Jerzee boys, Lil man Tuck is so cute! Missed that face! ♥️🐾🐾♥️ Good watching your video, haven't been watching hardly any gardening vids this summer with the extreme heat & smoke this yr! September is always that change were you feel fall starting to move in & the daylight is slipping away! ☹️
Well James, Tuck. The. Boss. Needs his snackies 😊❤️ I’m in 6a/6b growing zone so I started carrots, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach?, several lettuces and a few varieties of chard. We have a heat wave coming next week with no rain for 2 weeks so I’ll have to baby them for a while. Thanks for keeping the love gardening going through Fall!
Thank you James for sharing your knowledge. I am learning so much from your channel, very good content. I like to spend some apples for you for being such a good teacher, and some hearts for tuck he is the best.🍎🍎🍎🍎🍎♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Jersey girl can't get enough keep doing what you do!
I’d love to share some seeds with you. We have an heirloom mini ultra sweet tomato. Resistance to everything including tomato worms. Any soil, easy to grow, really produces in aug- frost. These tomatoes have been on my husband’s family farm property for over 100 yrs. They come back like perennials from the seeds dropped. Let me know and I’ll send seeds from this years harvest. The plant can grow 6-8’ high
I have a request/idea--for new gardeners (me) cd you add a video every so often that helps us get our seeds in the dirt-a week or so prior to doing it-I keep missing plantings because i'm not ready--don't have seeds on hand-you are such a good teacher and you've recommended journaling (started this summer)...wd this be something you cd do?
IF YOU ENJOYED THE VIDEO FEEL FREE TO SHARE IT! 😁🐕❤
Planted pumpkins 2 weeks ago first sprout today
James, can you please tell me what you decided to do with the bed that had the little white bugs/worms in it? I found out I have the same issue and hate to think how I’d discard all of my soil.

Make sure Tuck can’t access onions! What a cutie! More Tuck!! ❤❤❤
I love to see dirty gardening puppy. Shows he's having fun rummaging! ❤❤❤
Tuck love him. I wish my baby girl would eat like him. ❤❤❤❤
I like your grid system in the beds. I makes it look neat and it seems like it would help with learning how much space plants end up needing.

Oh Tuck is so darn cute.❤❤❤❤
It's really useful to explain the importance of zones for beginners. Thanks.
Usda zones are for lowest average winter temps. Mainly for trees. Frost free days better for annuals like tomatoes, squash... warm season veggies.
Tuck is so cute with his muddy little toes. ❤❤❤
Tuck's the star of the show!❤❤❤❤
