Garden (Polytunnel), October update and insights

Hey everybody, welcome back,
Now that we're very firmly in autumn, with the days growing shorter and weather so changeable, it's important to enjoy the brightness and sunshine whenever we can. ☀️🍁
In this video, we look at the tunnel and what's going and growing on, what needs attention, and of course where there's bonus food and flowers, particularly for this time of year.

The tunnel must smell absolutely fabulous Hugh. Great job on the alstroemeria because the pots would probably not like the cold and wet I’m sure. Have a super week both of you ❤, Ali 🌧️🇨🇦

Thanks Ali, yes, Alstromeria enjoy this extra spell of warmth in the tunnel compared to the weather outside, and reward with plenty more flowers. Have a lovely weekend there, Hugh 😊👍🏻🌿

We yanked our last squash plant today, great summer for them here !! Can you overwinter your Cana?
Its cool to see how packed full you greenhouse is compared to others this time off year.

Mixed success with over wintering the Canna, although with the tunnel the chances are much improved. Yes, tunnel is a lovely space to spend time, an extended summer - sort of... Lol. All the best there, Hugh 😊👍🏻🌿🌾
