Agree with this whole heartedly, as one of the filthiest casual WoW players out there like I'm never gonna take the game seriously enough to absolute min/max my damage so things like what's its peak damage when played optimally at a mythic raid level really don't hold as much weight to me. But hearing things like this class has great class fantasy, the rotation has become much easier, it doesn't feel clunky and you don't have too many things to focus on all while being fun to play. That's the shit I want to hear. On that note, great to hear that two of my favourite class spec combo's in Arcane Mage and Elemental Shaman both have great class fantasy, have been simplified a little to get rid of a bit of button bloat and are both fun to play at this moment.
I was so mad that they took away primordial surge, but what i realized in the beta is that when you cast frost shock, ur ancestors cast Lava burst. Which is insane for mobile dps.
Going Marksman hunter. Blizz team balances for Raid. If your doing insane AOE in M+, but bad Single Target, expect a ST buff based of first week HC raid logs. Marksman will look very good after those ST buffs comes.
Is augmentation evoker any good to play _solo_? ie: while levelling up. I'm not a big fan of devestration, the class fantasy in my head is for a toon to stick with their spec as much as possible; Auggies do a 'lot' less damage to 1 or small packs, but how much less? they're fairly tank if you use cooldowns I think, but .. if you're just grinding quests and mobs, how much slower would it be? how more dangerous? Like, if you're 20^% slower, not bad. If you're 70% slower, oooooof. (I was trialing against soloing the bosses in the areana out near Nokhead, and most of my alts could blast them down easy, the auggie struggled since they just come and punch you in the face...)

good list but only one i disagree with is Elemental shaman. The major changes it got helped the spec but didn't address one of its main problems which is their Survivability. Elemental (honestly really just shaman as a whole) is still a very squishy class that needs massive help. I would say Elemental is A instead of S because of that

Since Shadowlands, in my humble opinion, Boomkin has been in a downward spiral. Yes, Boomy did A LOT of damage, but your rotation had to be perfect. Anyway, there is still a little bit of time left. Hopefully some of mentioned people will get a call!
Should have probably waited at least a couple days on this release. There were massive changes announced today that makes a lot of this completely incorrect now. Arcane had already dropped significantly several days ago, now Elemental has been gutted as well.
@TheComebackKids sure but when your first bullet point on how you chose these is their current dps then obviously that is a heavy influence to how these were chosen. Especially since the first few were literally at the top of lists on sites like Icy Veins several days ago. To pretend like that isn't true is kinda silly. Considering there are definitely more fun specs to play than Aug and Ele. At the end of the day that is opinion but I think a large portion of players would agree.

All good allot of people just skip too the chapters they like to see the class that they main and know every tiny detail for and if they catch one thing slightly off they want my head, it is ok though because it forces me to improve and learn more.

I’ve mained Hunter since BFA, but I’m just really not feeling it this expansion. Summoning a zoo out of thin air is lackluster and doesn’t feel like a good class fantasy. Marksmanship suffers similar problems, just being a visually unappealing spec, with bullshit hero talent trees too.
Affliction's Wither is giga-bugged, it gets buffed by Destro talents even when you spec as Affli. So expect a big nerf to it. Also I dont think Frost mage is B-tier, have you tried it on Beta? It's very very strong.

You need to update some of these. Frost mage isthe best mage spec in beta atm. It’s a little misleading but I guess it’s hard to keep up with the updates but just proves that these beta tier lists are kinda useless.

This isn’t very updated. Fire mage living bomb got nerfed hard and frost is now way ahead of it both in aoe and st.

Aug is totally fine for leveling it will not be 70% slower and you will be just fine to burst down low health open World mobs

We all knew tuning was going to happen, that’s why we try to make these videos as little about dps as we can.

Because interest in SOD is just not there at the moment, even developer interviews from other creators aren’t getting any traction.

I wouldn’t say killed, the defensive buffs they will give will still make them very valuable.
