- Hello there! How are you doing today?
I am currently delving into the potential of Substrate Materials in UE5, and I am amazed at how quickly and easily you can create beautiful shaders in a short amount of time. Once you grasp the concept, the possibilities are endless!
Don't worry if you're new to this; it's straightforward and easy to understand.
Shall we begin?

You can download the material on my Petreon: www.patreon.com/UnrealVisuals
When the paint material is applied to a mode, it looks stretch, seems to be an issue with UV's. How do you fix this kind of issue?
The tutorial is very good, and the background music is also very good😀,Looking forward to the next work
Thank you very much!
Now THIS is how a tutorial should be.
Lemme grab my cigar and whisky.
Thanks man!!!😜
I don't think I've ever seen such a chill tutorial and I love it!!!!
Thanks man!!
If anyone else follows along with this, the Orange Peel texture can be found in the Automotive Materials pack, but it exists there as an HDR file. Inputting that into the texture sample will throw a float conversion error. Convert it to a PNG or other format first, and it will work fine.
Thanks!!!
can you share the png? that pack seems to only be for UE4 and I don't wanna install another version just for that
@@30-hz It works also with 5.3

I will 😀
Very cool !!! :) Is this material better then the ones you can get from the Marketplace? in the Automotive pack?
Thanks! This version is physically correct because you have layers like in real world
the paint looks stretched when applied to a vehicle. how do it fix the uv problem, do i convert it to world align or do i need to have a uv map created? whats a better route?
actually i think world align might not work becuase if i animate the car, the material will look like its staying in place. curious to hear how to fix this
Your videos helped me a lot to learn.
but I have a doubt.
I have a doubt, will you make a tutorial to make a fruit material sss (my fruits look like concrete).
It would help us a lot.
Thank you very much for your videos.
Thanks man! Glad my videos are useful. I put fruit materials on the list
