Your tutorials are amazing 😳!!
Brilliant: Finally some proper glass. Reflective and refractive. Subscribed.
1: Very helpful, thank you. 2: I don't know if you check your older videos, but I have a question: If you apply a lot of gravity to the hair, how can you prevent it from clipping into the mesh/skeleton it's supposed to be covering? For example, a ball covered in hair and rolling. The top hair will sink into the ball.
Ball has to be skeletal mesh and then you have to create a groom binding for the ball and apply it with the groom.
Thanks!!!
Nice and concise tutorial! I like it:) When making frosted glass like you were doing in the video, I tend to find the inner object's edge does not get blurred but harsh like 4:08 ua-cam.com/video/4yuMwxN9pL0/v-deo.htmlsi=EtlKGxOQTNFBjyGp&t=249 do you happen to have any solution?
hey man how can I make that neon shader at the beginning of your video?
The choice of music is exquisite, the tutorial in itself is complete, easy to follow and satisfying. Great job ! I’m loving it !
Thank you so much 😀
ooo is this for 5.4?
Thanks! I didnìt try 5.4 yet, but I think it works :)
Amazing, thank you. You can make a see-through white curtain tutorial and render using Pathtracer. ❤❤❤
Thanks for the tip!
❤
Thanks!
Very good!! Was it all done in Unreal?
Thanks! No, Cinema 4D + Redshift
Wanderfull as always!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks again!
Ill be sure to support you once I have my own money. Are you a professional in the field? Since your materials are incredibly high quality
Thanks! I'm a 3D generalist, I work with different programs, included Unreal :)

Thanks man!
Brilliant tips
Glad you liked it
Incredible tutorial!
Thank you!
Such a wonderful tutorial, instant subscribe
Awesome, thank you!
Cool!!! I download the project from your patreon but when I assign material looks strange…. Any suggestions about it??? Thanks 🙏
Hey! Send me an email with a screenshot
Can you please publish an issue about the opacity of the new material system design of substrate - especially after the old material is converted to substrate, the opacity cannot be directly linked. . .
I didn't get any problems with the opacity channel. Can you explan better what you mean?
Can you please teach how you made that 5?
I modeled it in Cinema 4D. I think you can use the Modeling Tool inside Unreal
This is amazing, another Top quality content! Keep it up 💪
Thanks Dani!
could we use the same technique for a normal material on unreal engine a non substrate one ? Thank you
Sure! Connect the nodes into ALBEDO and EMISSIVE channels
Seems like this doesn't necessarily need substrate right? It would work fine in a regular material from what I can tell? I actually avoided a lot of your videos because of Substrate in the title/thumbnail since its not quite ready for production yet. But now I'm thinking I'll go back and check em' out.
The current substrate is not suitable for large-scale local editing scenarios, and does not pose a big problem for product display.
Yes, It works fine with non-substrate materials. You can also apply other technique in my other videos
@user-ev4ud5xs2j I agree...but they work fine in small projects like product visualization and the automotive field
If you're clamping a value between 0 and 1, use the Saturate node (its essentially free on the GPU)
Thanks for the suggestion!
O_o Interesting

Nice man, this is really clean and well-made. Lots of respect, thank you for sharing!
Much appreciated!
do u know how to create curvature material like some wood damage on the corners or scratches grunge without using substance painter
Unfortunately, it is not possible in Unreal. There is something similar but not perfect; check my TIRE tutorial
Damn, I thought this was for substrate lol
I think it should work anyway.
Dude this is such good content! Please make more this is gold!
Thanks! Any suggestions for the next one?
Very cool !!! :) Is this material better then the ones you can get from the Marketplace? in the Automotive pack?
Thanks! This version is physically correct because you have layers like in real world
May I know how you create the tire paint in the asphalt ? Is it ready texture from megascan or it is decal effect . Thank you.
It is a texture. It is an old project done in Octane Render
from where you get this tire 3d model
I don't remember; I found it somewhere online. It was in my tire folder for a long time
how or where can i learn that? where do i find the course?
Here it is :) www.polyjam.studio/ue5-course
At the end of the video, you mention that it works best for non-moving renders. Would it be possible to use this material as a tool to generate textures for baking, and then just use the baked textures to make hq tire material on a case-by-case basis? 🤔
Hey! I don't think it is possible. For baking textures, use tools like Substance Painter; it will be easier
If your material looks different (white/silver) after about 01:15, dont panic. Follow all the steps, and once you hit "apply" at the end your outcome should match. I hit apply early.
LIke your channel so much.
Thanks!
Nice video. btw where did you get that water drop normal maps? did you made it in substance designer?
Hey! Thanks. I found it somewhere online a long time ago; I don't remember where
How to make water droplets flow under this effect
Still try to find a way
Amazing! Could you do a tutorial on how to create a realistic glass material to put on windows buildings or car ? It would be great ! Thank you master
Check out my previous tutorial
Oh man - Awesome videos! My question - is there any way to make a light look at a target ? Like the look at Camera option but with lights -
Thanks! It is possible via blueprint. Let me see if I can create one for the community.
Does this work in blender 3.6?
No, it is for Unreal Engine
Another great tutorial, thanks polyjam, could you create something about vegetation or translucent objects like curtains please?
Great suggestion! Thanks!
