Beautiful touching song! The language is Spanish, maybe with a Columbian touch, as in the whole of South America (except for Brasil where they speak Portuguese) people speak Spanish, because of the Spanish colonization of the Continent... Of course they also have some old indigenous languages, maybe like in Nigeria some folks might speak Yoruba or other tribal languages, but everyone speaks English... thanks for reacting and sharing! Have a great day!
Thanks so much for watching, glad to read this .. do have a splendid day too💝
umm is COLOMBIAN…not “columbian” the disrespect 😪
@@itsokandres , I'm sorry, that's because I'm German and in my language that country's name is "Kolumbien" (and that Spanish guy is "Christoph Kolumbus"...), but now I know it, thank you!
Just to also clarify not all the countries speak Spanish, Guyana speaks English and Suriname is primarily Dutch
@@damienganpat1604 Interesting detail, thank you!
this represents the story of hundreds of immigrants just looking for a good place to live
Yes

Below, find the Spanish lyrics of “Dos Oruguitas” as well as the translated English lyrics of “Two Oruguitas,” which Yatra also performs on the Disney soundtrack.
“Dos Oruguitas” Spanish lyrics
Dos oruguitas enamoradas
Pasan sus noches y madrugadas
Llenas de hambre
Siguen andando y navegando un mundo
Que cambia y sigue cambiando
Navegando un mundo
Que cambia y sigue cambiando
Dos oruguitas paran el viento
Mientras se abrazan con sentimiento
Siguen creciendo, no saben cuándo
(Woh, oh, oh, oh)
(Woh, oh, oh, oh)
(Woh, oh, oh, oh)
(Woh, oh, oh, oh, oh)
(Woh, oh, oh, oh)
(Woh, oh, oh, oh)
(Woh, oh, oh, oh)
Dos oruguitas desorientadas
En dos capullos bien abrigadas
Con sueños nuevos
Ya solo falta hacer lo necesario
En el mundo que sigue cambiando
Tumbando sus paredes
Ahí viene nuestro milagro
Nuestro milagro
Nuestro milagro
Nuestro milagro
Ay mariposas, no se aguanten más
Hay que crecer a parte y volver
Hacia adelante seguirás
Ya son milagros, rompiendo crisálidas
Hay que volar, hay que encontrar
Su propio futuro
Ay mariposas, no se aguanten más
Hay que crecer a parte y volver
Hacia adelante seguirás
Ya son milagros, rompiendo crisálidas
Hay que volar, hay que encontrar
Su propio futuro
Ay mariposas, no se aguanten más
Hay que crecer a parte y volver
Hacia adelante seguirás
Ya son milagros, rompiendo crisálidas
Hay que volar, hay que encontrar
Su propio futuro

“Two Oruguitas” English lyrics
Two oruguitas
In love and yearning
Spend every evening
And morning learning
To hold each other
Their hunger burning
To navigate a world
That turns, and never stops turning
Together in this world
That turns, and never stops turning
Two oruguitas
Against the weather
The wind grows colder
But they’re together
They hold each other
No way of knowing
They’re all they have for shelter
And something inside them is growing
They long to stay together
But something inside them is growing
Ay, oruguitas
Don’t you hold on too tight
Both of you know
It’s your time to grow
To fall apart, to reunite
Wonders await you
Just on the other side
Trust they’ll be there
And start to prepare
The way for tomorrow
Ay, oruguitas
Don’t you hold on too tight
Both of you know
It’s your time to grow
To fall apart, to reunite
Wonders await you
Just on the other side
Trust they’ll be there
Start to prepare
The way for tomorrow
Two oruguitas
Cocooned and waiting
Each in their own world
Anticipating
What happens after
The rearranging?
And so afraid of change
In a world that never stops changing
So let the walls come down
The world will never stop changing
(Never stop changing)
(Never stop changing)
(Never stop changing)
Ay, mariposas
Don’t you hold on too tight
Both of you know
It’s your time to go
To fly apart, to reunite
Wonders surround you
Just let the walls come down
Don’t look behind you
Fly till you find
Your way toward tomorrow
Ay, mariposas
Don’t you hold on too tight
Both of you know
It’s your time to go
To fly apart, to reunite
Wonders surround you
Just let the walls come down
Don’t look behind you
Fly till you find
Your way toward tomorrow
Ay, mariposas
Don’t you hold on too tight
Both of you know
It’s your time to go
To fly apart, to reunite
Wonders surround you
Just let the walls come down
Don’t look behind you
Fly till you find
Your way toward tomorrow.

This is beautiful, thanks so much for sharing this with us
From Mexico throughout all Central America, Caribian and South America the language is Spanish with different accents. Except Brazil, they speak Portugues.
Wrong suriname speaks dutch
no Colombiano Spain Américan hispanis from 400 milions
This is Spanish. I’m Puerto Rican, but this story is a common one in colonized countries that often are war torn and stripped of resources. This is a real event that happened in Colombia and this is an actual river( Caño Cristales) . The butterfly is symbolic of Liberation and positive change in Latin America . The Yellow butterflies are symbols used by a famous Colombian writer Gabriel Garcia Marquez for peace and love. Colombia is also home to more species of butterflies than any other country in the world. Also culturally we treat our elders with respect and our Abuelos( Grandparents) are treasured in the family.
OMG can you guys spell COLOMBIAN right not “columbian”
@@itsokandres , yes I can spell it correctly as I did the two previous times before I got lazy and let my iPhone do what it wanted but thank you for the insight.
Everything is real, it's not just a drawing, the river exists, the town is in my land, Santander is called Barichara, in short, this is Colombia and that's how we human beings are, loving people, and the grandmother is the matriarch, a symbol of example and respect for us. ❤️
@@donelipers Another thing those are monarchy butterflies that are known as a symbol for change and thats what we see in the movie…
