They should bake some contested health into the banner's baseline functionality. Something in the range of 30-50% of what you're missing would be ok and allow the Invigorating Icon to improve that to 100%. In Ruthless and Lethal there are a lot of times when your entire squad gets brutalized because of things beyond your control. A single missed parry can lead to getting stagger locked, which prevents you from staggering enemies, who can in turn increase the likelihood that another parry will be missed. Thropes still ignore terrain and focus you with each attack landing before the stagger from the previous one ends... Ive been hit by 2 beams and 3 orbs while dodging and behind cover... I died. Spore mines still literally spawn on top of people, and dive-bomb from off screen. My only issue with switching off of Icon is that you are *choosing* to have the inability to offset these issues. That problem *needs* to have a solution.
i've been using rapid regeneration for awhile, i use it in combination with the contested health perk and the perk that revives nearby downed teamates as a sorta "last stand" banner or "all purpose medical" banner
Only thing I'll say is try to incorporate stance changes with the power sword. I used to always just go power, which is great for gaunts. Speed mode really does better against majors.
I've been having a lot of fun looking over the bulwark perks and trying to find other builds that work =) This is cool! I hope when they refresh perks, they look into this and make these banners a little faster to drop? Or, maybe they are and I just haven't figured out how. But I want to use them a lot more than I feel like I can.
Yo Yeertski Question. Is the PVP level cap increased? I've been 25 forever and haven't played much recently but I saw a lvl 28 Last night and screenshoted it on my xbox
not using invigorating icon is crazy! literally one of the top3 perks in the game. it's fine testing things out. but not using that perk is just throwing the match.
"Throwing the match" is a bit hyperbolic brother. Clearly there are builds and playstyles that are done w/o Invig Icon. I've done it, and Bully is still quite solid (and more importantly fun). The only thing to remember with any build that doesn't use Invig Icon is the Bully's time to kill is a bit longer than the other classes.
@MercTechBenny whatever you say brother. i still think not using that perk can make or break a lethal run. and considering the other 2 options. no reason not to run it.
I did a lethal with Bulwark level 13 using a block chainsword and the shield bash hit enemy takes 25% more damage perk. It's actually kinda fun to have a challenge sometimes instead of going meta all the time.
This vid was just the type of Space Marine 2 content i have been searching for! Keep it up my guy!
Thanks for watching!

I'd rather they add some small sustain to each class's baseline like the vanguard 25 perk.
@@gamermasterL while this would undeniably be convenient, it would need to be minor and situational to prevent muddying class identity.

Every time i throw a krak grenade at a majoris they decide to jump right on me to suicide 😂
Thought I was the only one lol. Now, I only use kraks on terminus enemies and chaos lol.

How does the Bulwark catch a Gaunt with his left hand if he's holding a hand gun in his left hand?
honestly i've just mained the contested health banner, however pivoted back to the shock and damage parry for tyranids

You really gotta do this again with a shock build!
Most teammates aren't going to appreciate a bulwark that doesn't heal

@@m1stern00by Yes brother! That sounds very interesting there. I;m a pretty die hard power sword Bully, BUT I am definitely giving that a go.
