@Plan D dude really? That's not even close to being funny that's extremely fucked up I don't wish anything bad to happen to anyone but I can imagine torturing you slowly
I know your joking, but we do have peacocks that roam freely around the San Francisco Zoo. And I know they'd be very upset being compared to the common turkey after spending all that time foraging for dropped french fries around the cafeteria, preening their feathers while blocking the view to the penguin exhibit and constantly yelling at an ear-splitting volume. Very upset indeed.
Kenny Thao *laughing my arse off . It's the male that they killed , they left the female (the one that doesn't have the same colouring as the male ones do)
I know I'm being kind of hasty with this comment, but for season 4 I think it would be cool if you did a travel type challenge. You can bring as much gear as you want but you still have to move. Just an idea. Loving the series so far. Thanks for the video and I hope you have a great week. - Josh
Agreed! I'm kinda disappointed with where they get their water and doesn't seem much of a challenge to me. And are they camping out there or going home at night?
When the Spanish came to Mexico they found the domesticated turkey which the Aztecs called guajolote. The Spanish, mistaking it for a Peacock called it Pavo. Both names remain, but a live turkey is called guajolote and cooked turkey is called Pavo - as in Pavo con mole. When Peacocks were brought to Mexico the Spanish had to rename them Pavo Real. “The Real Peacock.”
Twice we butterflied a turkey & cooked it over a campfire, basting it with olive oil & seasoning it with wild onions, salt, pepper and garlic cloves. They were the best, juiciest turkeys we ever had.

I love peacocks, but I am a big believer of hunting invasive species, ethical hunting all the way! Great job guys, I’ve never thought about eating a peacock, but I’m sure it would be tasty! 👍
lambot3g yeah, that makes sense. As a hunter myself, I stick to the common deer, pig, goat, duck...,ect, which are the most invasive in my area (Australia), and the occasional kangaroo ends up on my plate, they are native of course, but with the high numbers of them, our government issues permits to control population. I’ve seen UA-cam videos of people hunting and eating fox, and I have a feeling these guys in this video, may have eaten fox, that’s just too close to dog for me, even though it would be safe to eat, I can’t get by the psychological barrier.
The way I was told to cook this bird is: Get a cedar Plank nail the bird to the board, douse the bird with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and chili powder. Throw the whole thing in a dutch oven cook for 4 hours over medium flame. Take it off the flame and let it rest for 30 mins. Now throw throw the bird away and eat the board.
Ohhh my gosh. I always wondered what negative comments you were talking about, and then I sorted by "newest". WOW. Why and how did these people even end up watching your video? LOL I guess thanks for watching and commenting! xD I have almost hit so many peacocks in the country here, and now I kinda wouldn't mind if I did. . . . that rare green Texas turkey looked mighty tasty! You two are awesome together. I really like the dynamic. It would be fun to see Jeremy there, too!! I love the Wilderness Survival Challenge!!
