In this video I show you my entire process for coloring comic style artwork with the app Procreate. I am using an Apple iPad Pro 12.9 with the Apple Pencil. This is all in real time.
In this video you will learn about flatting the work, apply effects with blending modes, how to use clipping masks, alpha lock, the selection tool, and my general process for using them together.

Hey, this is a great tutorial and an amzing artwork! I always love to see other artists and their workflow! Gave me some input and how I can adjust my workflow. I wanto thank you for your free brushes, which I‘ll test and the free artwork! Concerning this, I wonder how everybody is doing the follow along since the downloadable artwork is not only the outline as a png but with the white background 🧐 Am I missing something?

Thanks for the video Rob! Two questions; Since Procreate uses RGB colors by default, do you have to convert your images to CMYK before printing? Also, can you simply save a SMYK color pallet image in Procreate and colorpick from it and not bother with a conversion? thanks!
