    What’s your thoughts on budget all in one racks?

  • @EpictheEpicest
    @EpictheEpicest 4 місяці тому +2

    Thanks for the review, would you be able to comment on the fit? Like does everything square up well or is anything crooked? A good mod to this rack would be drilling 1" hole spacing in the uprights. Shouldn't worry about the 14 gauge 2x2, For most people a 3x3 is overkill, unless you're consistently racking 700+lbs. A good cheap way to add grip to a pull-up bar is by using tennis racket overgrip. If they're to improve this, I'd like to see an optional addon 2-3ft extension to the front so you can have a full power rack and smith machine in the same small footprint.

      @@LukesGarageGym it has great durability. But gets a major thumbs down for assembly and the way the cables feel. I did notice they had a selectorized smith cable machine that was a little cheaper with a 2:1 ratio, I gave that one a shout instead. Man this video is speaking to me I am currently trying to decide on a unit for my wife and I since we’re tired of commercial gyms. I’m be this and maybe the major fitness B52 What would you suggest on that next tier? We don’t want high end but midrange is ideal

    • @LukesGarageGym
      @LukesGarageGym  2 місяці тому

      I would say the B52 is better because the smith bar weighs 45 pounds and I like it much better. Huge selling point for me! Force USA sells a smith machine version. I just haven’t used it to know. If you are wanting to be below 2k I’d go with the B52

    • @LukesGarageGym

      Yes and yes! If you are taller than 6’2, you will have to lean back or do them on the ground for lat pulldowns though

    whats ur opinion on this machine compared to Major Fitness Spirit B52? Overall im liking the B52 more but the 300 lb compared to the M1 420 lb is a big difference

    • @LukesGarageGym
      @LukesGarageGym  4 місяці тому +1

      Major Fitness has 2x3 uprights so it’s a little beefier and little more durability on impact with your lifts. I like their pull up bars much better than this M1 too. Thats pretty much it in regards to the big differences.

  • @Bsurb352
    @Bsurb352 3 місяці тому

    What is your honest opinion between this home gym versus the major fitness b52? For someone who just normally works out with bench. Tricep bicep pulldown, etc mainly for my wife and i to just lift and look better. Money isn’t a huge issue, but i don’t want to overspend if not needed…

    • @LukesGarageGym
      @LukesGarageGym  3 місяці тому

      HONESTLY, I do think the B52 is beefier with its 2x3 uprights and it’s a heavier build, so when it comes to stability, that wins. Its weight capacity is only 330 on the smith machine, BUT, that’s plenty for most people. Most smith machines done go past over 500 anyways. It’s not designed for heavy heavy lifts, mostly to work on form. I love the major fitness pull up bar and smith bar way better. Both pulley systems felt the exact same.I would get that over this in my opinion. I got affiliate links for either brand in my website if you wanna help your boy out too 🙏

    Any update on the ritfit hack squat/leg press? Are you still liking it?

    • @LukesGarageGym
      @LukesGarageGym  5 місяців тому +1

      I need to make a final review. The range of motion still bugs me. I mean, I still get pretty deep on my press. It’s a pretty solid deal for its price. One thing I’ve noticed is the weight capacity for me. I stack up 4 plates on each side and can do numerous reps and I can’t fit anymore on. Gympin sells this plate holder extension that I may snag to add more weight and really put it to the max.

    How dos it compare to the major fitness F22?

    • @LukesGarageGym
      @LukesGarageGym  5 місяців тому

      2x3 for the F22 compared to the 2x2 for the M1. But this has a 420 pound weight capacity on one side of the cable system and the F22 has 300 pound weight capacity on one side of the cable system. That’s the two major differences honestly. I do like the F22 pull up handles. Not a fan of this pull up bar.

    Nice honest review as always. This smith machine is a huge improvement over the previous one you reviewed, this one looks safe and is stronger than my best fitness (body solid) one. I agree bigger spotter arms and normal dip bars are needed. Amazon sells accessories to fix this but thats more money spent. I have two rit fit single nylon pulley systems (one per gym) that attach over any stationary object and they work fine so although aluminum pulleys are better I agree these should be fine. If i had to do it all over again I would consider this gym to save valuable space.

    • @LukesGarageGym
      @LukesGarageGym  5 місяців тому

      Thanks bro!!! It is; I don’t get why you don’t do the open concept with smith machines. The holes in the upright are asking for problems when latching! Honestly man, this is pretty solid. Minor things to work on and really won’t cost alot and keep that budget price!

    Seems like a solid choice. I really like the Mikolo M4 as well, it's pretty comparable with some advantages over this RitFit and some disadvantages but also a good option with a similar price! Wish they both had better hole spacing though.
    I'd really love to see a review of the MAXUM Fitness SX2, that one seems like the best home gym all-in-one on the market but it's not really a budget option at around $3,500 USD shipped. Still looks like a pretty good value with all the features it has like dual weight stacks + plate-horns, leg press, articulating arms for the functional trainer, 3"x3" 11-gauge steel, and a bunch of accessories included.

      @@LukesGarageGym Yea I don't know why it's not more well-known when on paper it looks like just about the best option on the market, I would love to see a review of it!
      It has such a unique design and features and I love that it basically comes with all the attachments you would need for all kinds of exercises like leg holders for pulldowns (single side AND center mount), foot plate for rows (single side AND center mount), triceps rope, different bars, landmine, leg press plate, etc...
      Has aluminum pulley wheels too! Plus a lifetime warranty!
      Only thing some people may have issue with is that it uses 5/8" holes rather than 1" holes which are becoming more the preferred high-end standard. Still though, you do get westside hole spacing in the bench zone with 5/8" so there's pros and cons.
      Just note, they are based in Canada so prices on their website are Canadian but they do ship to the US for a fee and still cover US customers under their warranty.
      Still ends up being very well priced in USD dollars after conversion and the shipping fee compared to options from Vesta, Harbor Heavyweights, Rep, etc... especially if you include all the accessories and features the MAXUM includes it looks like a way better deal to me.

    • @LukesGarageGym
      @LukesGarageGym  5 місяців тому

      It stinks seeing companies like that with great products not getting as much notice. I am trying to find brands that are needing more push with their products with constructive feedback to help them grow more! The lifetime warranty and aluminum wheels is already a huge win!
