    I had a heart attack 6 months ago at the ripe age of 35. Needless to say the doctor telling me "You're the 2nd youngest patient I've ever had" shook me to my core. I'm now beginning my journey to get healthy and unclog the smaller arteries in my heart. Had to get 4 stents and I still got 90-100% blockage in the smaller ones that can't be stented. It's going to be a long, hard road.

      Have you not been tested for a genetic disorder like familial hypercholesterolaemia? 35 is very young. Anyone else in your family have a heart attack at a young age?

    • @nukiesduke6868
      @nukiesduke6868 10 місяців тому

      @@hdrevolution123 Yeah that's what he thought. He said I probably have some type of gene where I just absorb way more than I should in my bloodstream. Cherry on top is I actually cut out sugar after realizing just how much over my DV I was consuming out of fear of getting diabetes as I was consuming like 200% my DV. I didn't worry too much about fat and cholesterol since I was pretty much only getting like 30-50% of my DV of cholesterol and that's what ended up being the thing to wreck me.
      But I never went in to get a test for that. It does run in my family though. Dad had a heart attack, then had another one and died in his 60s. Mom has had a few strokes and has needed stents. So yeah, it's genetic.

    Your Demo is fantastic! To me, i feel this video was much better than the silent Demos from the manufacturer. I appreciate your cautions as well. My one minor correction is, it sounds like you're saying "Subo" squat with the Landmine. The correct term is Sumo. The squat is similar to the stance used by Japanese Sumo wrestlers. You both use excellent form and the physical results are testsment to your knowledge and work

      We definitely refer to it as a “sumo squat”, but I’ve noticed a few times where our Spanish accent mixes with our English and it could sound a bit off 🙃

    I like the ritfit m1 a little better I think, but I also think major fitness has more aftermarket parts for it. I'm not sure if they would fit the m1 but they're pretty much identical racks for the same price currently. Im torn.

    What do you use to lubricate these machines? I'm sure they do require some sort of lubrication.

    I am considering purchasing this equipment for my home gym but have concerns due to my height. I am 6'6 and plan on incorporating pull-ups in to my routine. Thoughts?
