Let's play a new Automation campaign in the Ellisbury Update (LCV 4.3) of the game! Again, we try an extreme 100x difficulty setting, which will be proper hard with improved competitors and new emission regulations.

Man, your designs are absolutely jaw-dropping, not only they are simply beautiful, they're also perfectly era-accurate, not even mentioning you're very comprehensive and all around informative
Hands down the best Automation creator, by far
1) A bit sad that the "Cinghiale" becomes one for the museum, but a nice bit of a collector's item that will be worth millions in the far future for sure.
2) Nuovavia is such a unique and a bit mouthful name, Rhabarberbarbara
3) Great job on the bodywork and design of the car, truly inspiring. Eventhough the Montone was supposedly was a 1946 body, it looks very much like the era contemporary Porsche 356 which is by no means out of style - but the Nuovavia truly brings it to the next level.
4) Excited to see your take on F2 cars as well, but I do hope that in the near future there can be passenger cars/experimental genres like Lambo's (ill-fated?) LM-002 - but perhaps you can make it work.
Anyway, love the series, looking forward to the next one.

Yes please, that would make it much more in character, like how simple the other car names are ( Ri-vetto, Mon-tone, etc)

I love the weird air intake shroud on the rear! Feels like the game version of the creative and quirky solution finding engineers had to do at the time. It's also a unique and design defining feature that could actually be a calling card for mid-engined Cisalpina cars in the future ;)
I hope it will not be a recurring feature in this exact form, as it was really hard to pull off! But I agree, such kind of air intake might be a nice unique feature to keep for the future!
You should do multiple side draft carbs (single barrel eco), as they're quite good now. You'll get good emisisons and the best power outputs with many of them (except for large 4-barrels in big engines). Throttle response won't be an issue with multiple carbs.

Someday in the future of the company make this car more modernized retaining more or less original looks. Kinda a concept car / promotion show car ))

Honestly your best work of art yet. Wish this was real and I could have one. I wish this series could go on forever! The addition of safety and emissions really add to the flavor of the story. Can't wait to see how racing might integrate one day with any luck.

Honestly, I was a bit worried when you talked about using the E-Type bodystyle last episode as I didn't see how you could turn it into something that would fit the Cisalpina brand. But using a mid engined version and the work you've done on it turned it into a masterpiece, I love it. I hope the Nuovavia gets to do Le Mans as well.
Yeah I made a few cars earlier on this body and it is very easy to build something that ends up looking like an E-Type. That's why I also chopped off the roof and went for low hanging headlights :)
I have an extremely similar company to Cisalpina, and am presented with a unique challenge in choosing similar bodies and somehow not copying your designs. Can't wait to see what the series becomes. Keep up the good work.
This car is gorgeous and also aggressive looking at the same time. If Shelby and Ferrari got together to make a mid engine in the late 50's. Hope I see more of it moving forward. Loving the series. Thanks for the hard work and dedication 🤙

also, you may want to check out alpine italian dialects for future car names (for example the Countach was named after "Cuntacc", an exclamation in turinese dialect)
The new car feels visually like a mix of the Jag XJ13 and the Alfa Montreal
It would be cool to see a Japanese econobox campaign later on I think. Super over engineered engines that can handle way more power than they put out from the line. I suck at the campaign in automation so I'm not sure if aftermarket modding becomes a thing later in the game for your customer base but if so I think it'd be cool to see you build up market domination like that. Usually when I try to make a car, if it isn’t already in the ballpark of what I want it to be I get disheartened. But you really managed to forge it into a super car simply playing with sliders. 😭😭 I have so much to learn.

@@the.bavarian The Might Vs SPAM question for the Buyout (Caused by Lorenzo over Spending on the V8!) in the Early 1960's should be interesting.... Might gives them the V12 and a heap of money, but removes all of Lorenzo's Autonomy and Might HQ has to be consulted for any Expenditure over $0.01 (One Cent), or going with SPAM means full Autonomy remains in Lorenzo's Hands, but less Money, and SPAM forces them to use Hatchback bits from the Parts Bin, and causes the small matter of a *very angry* Might Board of Directors determined to whup Cisalpina from there to Vianta and back at Le Mans. As Enzo had to chose Ford vs FIAT, does Lorenzo go Might? or SPAM?
PS. I guess the Tragic End of the Mille Monti in '57 is what gets Lorenzo looking at Le Mans and Formula One?
Note: a 4 would not be Competitive in 1.5 F1, most of the Competition being V8's with twice the Power Pulses, a 4 would be right at the back of the Grid in F1, but up at the Front in Formula Junior, which replaced F2 in '61 (and was 1 Litre! perfect for the Entry Level Cisalpina, again, suggest looking at the Matra-Bonnet Djet for inspiration there) So I suggest a 1 Litre DOHC 8V Four for FJ , a DOHC 16V 8 for F1, and with a DOHC 24V (all with BIG Valves!) 12 for the Really Fast Tracks such as Spa and Monza, like how Ferrari had the 158 and the 1512 in '64.

Thanks! I tried but failed. Probably did not count the fixtures correctly (double-counting mirrored fixtures though). Next time I will place the steering wheel in the very beginning :D

The only thing I dislike about this cisalpina is the headlight design. I almost feel like smaller headlights would have been better. Perhaps quad lights?
Hm, maaaybe! I'll try to keep it in mind for a facelift. While I like it as it is, it might be a nice feature to separate the 1st and 2nd generation!

Beautiful build! I do have a question, what graphic settings are you using? the game looks amazing and I wish to improve the looks of mine (RT is expensive on my 7900xt so I'm lacking in that department😅)
I think I pretty much maxxed out the normal graphics settings and added mid or low (after the crashes of the recording software) preset for raytracing.
I really want to drive the Nouvavia but I’ve realised that in the mod you made, the Nouvavia isn’t in it, can you add it in please.
Would be cool to see more of a purpose for the race cars you build(and others race cars) in a racing series such as your rFactor videos with other people. The F1 and F2 cars and even GT and Supers/hypers with racing versions.

@@the.bavarian oh I meant on beam lol. But from my experience beammp isn’t exactly stable from what I’ve seen, it works but not good enough for proper racing series.
But yes definitely would be a lot of work, the car just looks like early 60s race car to me, like a 1962 250 GTO somewhat.
Great design! I definitely picked up a few ideas that I will try to include in my future builds. The Swinger body is even more flexible than I thought.
I don't speak Italian, but wouldn't Vianuova be the preferred order of the noun/adjective? Possibly a bit too late to change, and I could also be wrong. (Edit: Also I think Spider is the common italian spelling, while Spyder is more common in other languages)
I need to study your videos to better understand the campaign. You always seem to know exactly how much money you're expected to make/lose and can balance it really well. Several times so far you declined a loan where I would have been afraid not to take it.

F2 car, could use a destroked 2L v8, but a new I4 engine design do make a lot of sense i guess if you where to make a reasonably priced light sportscars later on?
Yeah, I think it is a good opportunity for a good inline 4 concept to be later used in an affordable light sportscar!

THE YEAR IS 1958 (SAME YEAR AS THE COMPETITOR RELEASED) THAN BECAME A COMPETITOR IN 1960 (IT ENDED IN 1970).
I think cisalpina should be making super cars and also cheaper sports cars the average Joe could get.

Now you have a supercar (though I think it’s not quite fast enough) maybe you should make cheaper higher volume sports car that uses a reworked version of the inline 4
That's the plan, but hopefully it will use a more future-proof, freshly developed inline 4 from next episode :)
You should make a higher volume sporty-ish small sedan with around 80 hp like the Alfa Romeo Giulia, to get some money flowing into the company to fund your supercar and racing endeavors
For this I first need a larger factory. As long as I can sell only limited numbers of cars, high-margin sports and super cars are more profitable. I want to have a bit higher volume cars at some point, but I need money first. The Montone currently is the entry level and has less then 80 hp :)

What are your graphics settings? Every time i try to work with seems or some body molding crunchy bits will form (im running the game on max groshics with some rtx and dlss with a 3060)
I run on mid or low raytracing preset with a 3060ti. But in my opinion the body molding issues are independent from the graphics settings and more depend on the car body and fixtures used. Sometimes also the photoscene / lighting conditions can make molding look bad. If you look closely, you can also see issues on this car at the molding of the front and rear and the fenders. There is not much one can do about it unfortunately!

If you remove rear sway bars you can give it wider tiers to the front and more cornering but less comfort

At 28:14 it was able to do 194 km/h. I don't know if it changed significantly afterwards.

It does seem a little weird seeing so much air venting on the hood of a mid engined car.
Well, I thought the radiator is mounted in the front and the air needs to be venting out somewhere. But yeah, maybe it's a bit too much
For the steeringwheel to work in beamnng it has to be placed as the first thing, before mouldings, lights etc,
As far as I understood it does not have to be the first fixture, but it would be much easier if it was. Because you need the number of the fixture, while mirrored fixtures count double. I probably made a mistake counting.

Few questions, how do i access the extra bodies on the body selector (how to move the body catalog sideways), how do i delete seams cleanly and how to download that shed
If I remember correctly you can go sideways in the body selector with the right mouse button. Deleting seams cleanly is not easy and I don't have a 100% solution. I typically place some patches from the body moulding section. The shed is a private mod for me as of now, but will be made available publicly by the devs with the upcoming update later this year.

Racing will hopefully be a thing in the next episode! LMP is far away, we'll see! But there are many interesting regulations along the way.
Le Mans "prototypes" (like the Jaguar D Type, Aston Martin DBR-1 , Ferrari 250LM, Ford GT40, etc), needed to be Road Legal and Homologated with "production" Examples in the 1950's and 1960's, so there is a route into Purpose built Race Cars for Cisalpina there.

Further Idea, how about a Pretty little Mid Engine sports Coupe with a new Generation 1.1 "Four" as well in the Style of the Matra-Bonnet DJet or the De Thomaso Vallelunga to go with the Nuovavia in future?

Hi there, sorry if i annoy you with this question. I've been trying to get my own badge into the game, but i am having no luck. The wiki with this information, and the video are still unclear for me. And i can't seem to get it to work. And i was hoping if i could get a little bit of work on this

But..... U can make the car faster to 270 kph. However, if u think that it's engine can't handle that top speed, u can make it's engine more powerful
