- Опубліковано 1 сер 2024
- Let's play an Automation campaign and try to get a luxury car company going in a 100x difficulty setting! I try to explain what I am doing, so the series has a few tutorial elements.
In this episode the next generation of our flagship model - the Cleres - is being prepared. And - sssh - we start a top secret engine project!

I can only imagine the new Cleres is a massive hit amongst every secret police bureau in the world with that design style :D
It still astonishes me how you are able to get like +400% in desirability. I can't get over 150% to save my life
It depends on the target demographic a lot. In the non-mainstream categories it is a lot easier, and now with some tech pool even more so. For main-stream stuff I sometimes struggle to get above 120 as well.
Your ability to make land yachts is unrivaled amazing design again I especially like the way you did the headlights with multiple fixtures. i'm remembering that :)
In Germany we have a saying "Viel hilft viel" - A lot will achieve a lot! Just throw tech and money into the car :)
@@the.bavarian maybe not the best business strategy but it creates amazing cars!
love the new Cleres, and how the company sticking to prestige and keep putting out new cars even if the family likeness is not always there the car's in themselves is art.
Now I'm curious about your entry in Formula 1. Looking foward that!
It must follow the rules.
This 600hp V6 sounds suspicious to me 🧐
I actually like the Winley. It's a cute little car with some Oomph!
New Cleres really reminds me of Aston Martin Lagonda, sick design.
I would be great if you would export your .car models so anyone in the community can prepare them (like Alpine did with BMW and Ruf with Porsche) and you can review them after :) I love the design of the Winley and the concept of an "eco" V12
I like the idea! I'll think about what could made out of it. Maybe a small event/challenge after the completion of the series?
Great episode! :) Looking forward to the next one, and you setting a lap record on the ATT ':D
I discover your channel 3 days ago, and I enjoy every second of it!
i love this car so much ! the cleres II is absolutely beautiful
Slightly late due to my education, but I am still here nonetheless. Wonderful.
The new Cleres...Aston Martin paid a nice fee for using this as a base for their Lagonda, (modified roofline) I hope.
Within a year of going on the market, the Archanian Politburo somehow replaced all their old
smuggled/copied Cleres with new models...the broker in Dalluha is rich. I also note that Bitter
liked the roofline as well.
Looks a lot like a Lagonda
I love this generation of the Cleres. It looks so imposing, and self-assured.
Absolutely love this series thank you for the great videos
Dude! What a cliffhanger! I have to wait a whole week to see the F1-car?! ❤
Does it help if I tell you that the episode is already uploaded and just sitting there until it's scheduled release on Thursday? :)
oh I was looking forward to this episode. Amazing as always =)
I couldnt wait, am sonhappy for new episodes
(First comment)

Been binge watching these, love the designs you've made
Awesome series
Loving this series! Keep it up ❤
Great series! Love it

New episode
Any chance you could upload the Winley to the beamng mod site?
Yeah I am a bit behind uploading the Beam mods - I have a few days off soon and then I will try to put them all together and maybe have everything in a single download.
now not to put ideas into your head buut the 80's are comming around and i heard of such a thing as class B rally is a thing :)
the Winley with it's 1.5L engine would fit in one of those categories as a training exercise for transverse awd maybe?
or if it was to be boosted it would be counted in the 2.1L class and could have wider tires and be a bit heavier if needed.
would be cool to see a luxury brand trying their luck in the world of flying dirt and ice flinging monsters.
You don't put ideas into my head - maybe you can read my mind :D
@@the.bavarian as always, i am looking forward to the next few years with this brands development 😅
to me reminds me an corsa xD
Now is that better than a Fiesta? :D I loved my mum's Corsa A back then. Pretty nippy for a 1.2 liter engine with 45 hp!
@@the.bavarian imo yes, much better. i been selling Opel for the past 7 years in Portugal, and back in the days Opel was a true German brand it makes a lot of sense with your campaign, the "much car for less money" :D
I always saw Opel as a very much underrated brand in the past 20 years. They always had excellent cars with great value for money, but were politically damaged/restricted by their "mother" brands. It is a big shame what is happening with the company at the moment (the cars are still good, but the company is more and more deconstructed).
Yes, i totaly agree with you. Now Opel its a name with more than 100 years and a lot of history and tradition. Back in GM days, at least they had autonomy to be Opel in Europe and change the badge to export to other countries. Saddly, now its a "reskin" of Peugeot. I learn to drive in a Corsa C 1.7 (the isuzu engine)
Hey Bayer, I'm looking to become a better Automation player. Just out of curiosity, why is the Clares V16 choked on the exhaust so bad? Does it make a big difference in noise, or flatten the torque cuve, or...?
Good question! It might have been an oversight - from a general performance perspective a more advanced header would have been better and the catalytic converter did not help a lot, too. I did go for a flat torque curve and absolute power figures are not that important for a luxury car build, but you are right that the choking probably was a bit extreme.
@@the.bavarian Right. Thanks for the reply. BTW, loved your Le Mans event videos.
The second coment has hit the video
You just designed lamborghini lagonda 😅
Isn't SPFI largely just worse then Mechanical FI except for being cheaper? Especially since you've already engineered the mechanical one. Double especially since you have a gigantic V16, SPFI has the same issues as single carb fuel systems do with a config like that.
In general yes. But the Cleres has more than enough power for its target demographic, and worse throttle response might actually help tp have a very smooth ride. So why not collect some familiarity for EFI systems.
