Muscle cars with three cylinders. That's gotta hurt the reputation. Until I discovered there's a sponsorship from Raid. Thanks to that. That chunk of that reputation has been taken.
the Cadillac and Olds FWD cars have a pretty interesting setup- a longitudinal big block V8 (usually) slightly offset to the passenger side with a large torque converter and chain drive to a three-speed automatic trans, internally similar to other GM three-speeds of the time. the transmission's external case basically rotated the 3-speed internals to face the front axle. all that power was sent to a relatively tiny open differential bolted next to the engine's oil pan under the driver's side exhaust manifold (like Chevy IFS 4x4/AWD trucks do today).
Suggestion for videos: 1. Modern rally car (1,6 300 hp engine) 2. The best power-to-weight ratio car (more hp than pounds would be nice (and crazy)) 3. The highest rpm car 4. The most boring car (compact hatchback with 1,6 101 hp engine)
A i3 sounds similar but it's a case of rpm vs rpm a i3 @ 6k has the same power strokes as a i6 @ 3k so you'll hear the same exhaust not but the exhaust isn't the only sound you hear and that's where the difference in sound comes in between the two engines .
9:1 is not high for 1963. Chevrolet produced many small block 327 engines in that year with over 11:1 compression. Also, GM produced turbocharged engines that year in the form of 4cyl, 6cyl air cooled, and aluminum block V8... with outputs ranging from 80-215 horsepower. The 215 V8 ran 5psi of boost wit 10.25:1 compression pistons (static) in 1963.
A body style like that in 1963 would have been an absolute forerunner for it's era, if not an anachronism. Muscle cars didn't really become a thing until the mid to late 1960's. Before then it was just really powerful passengers cars with boxy and simplistic styling (EG: the Plymouth Valiant or Ford Falcon coupe). Sure there was the Pontiac GTO, but muscle cars as a whole aesthetic movement in car design didn't become popular until ~1965 with the Mustang. The Oldsmobile Toronado and the Cadillac Eldorado were personal luxury coupes, slow and unpretentiously pretentious. Without a bone of athleticism in their massive bodies; cruisers.
handful of corrections to your muscle car to make it more 60s appropriate -posi/locked rear diffs were popular -4 on the floor shifting, or a 3 speed auto. -less angles, early 60s cars were just coming off the "jet" design era, into the "rocket" design era -if there was a turbo, they wouldn't have a turbo badge, some sort of special name instead, like "corsa GT" in the case of the corvair turbo models. Not trying to nitpick, really like the concept otherwise.
as a aussie yes we have some v8 cars here like ford and etc like the xd ford 1979 falcon ute and holden that died (loss of money) rip them they had really good race cars
hey bro, could you make classic muscle car with a real V8? I love these vids dont get me wrong but I want to learn how to make like a 440 cui V8 replica in automation. Would be awesome if you did something like that
Japanese license plate, named like a coffee, not using an engine in a V configuration, you have failed to produce an American muscle car and must start again.
Can you make a 60s Trans am varient of this car. Essentially a muscle car that is designed to go around a track as good as posible. Would be a cool idea
The front kind of looks like an oldsmobile from the time, with the twin oblong grille. I know BMW had a similar theme but the BMW grille was more vertical and rounded
Thumbs up. And subscribed. I also have a stupid question. I kist boughy this game and builded a car. Where can I drive it. I see options of test. But can not drive it myself. Would aprecciate if answered my question.
You need to own another game called BeamNG.drive to be able to drive your automation cars. There's a button in automation to export your cars to BeamNG.drive
With automation I build excessively American cars. Im a style nazi I hate most all of the things that go down the road. European cars too the only thing that I like going down the road, Is sports cars they arnt abominations, the cars that i love of the modern era is the GMC Sierra(I am a bit biased because i love GMCs) I noticed the other day in the lot however when looking at the Sierra that its not original, there elements from Chrysler in the early 60s that polygon style that litters the truck is all Plymouth work. Im getting ahead of my self. The, Corrvet , The doge charger. Thats it I hate all the cars. Used to in the usa the trucks where ugly now the cars are. So last Christmas I got a gift card and bought automation to build my dream car. However i was clueless to car design when i did it. After some time i learned automation. Now, i built Pegasus Motors. If i ever own a car company there are 3 Values i have, Style if i i get done with a front end and i hate it instead of saying its ok I try agian. Until I like the front end I hold it back. I also make a certain look for each class and if that car does not have that vibe I dont do it. , Reliability, alot of my engines are expensive becuse if the engine does not have a reliability over 140 or over I wont sell it even if its a V8 with 2000hp., Versatility, the other day i got done working on a mighty fine car with arrows keys on desert map becuse my usb broke for the wheel. With police and every thing i went up around to the hanger keeping my pace at 200 mph average. (this car is the Pegasus Wonderer its the car in my video) This car with 2 1\2 tons some how some how managed to avoid the traffic. There where times when i thought we would crash in a car at 250mph somehow it managed to clear them. Long story short the car made to the hanger and all the way back which even with a steering wheel I never managed to maintain 200+ mph without somthing going wrong to or from. When i got done i went offroading thanks to it being 16in suspension I made alot of jumps. All purpose even towing.

you have killed every V8 muscle car lover in existence
Perfect
Suggestion for the next video: try to make a Group B-esque rally car, except modern, as if Group B was still a thing today.

You have fallen to raid shadow legends, I mourn our loss

Someone finally gets “muscle car” suspension right double wishbone front and live axle rear
It's especially fun in combo with a 70/30 weight bias and 400Hp V10..
RAAAHHHH what the fuck is a independent rear suspension??!!! 🦅🦅🦅

Try to make a some kind of Groub B rally car
With no restrictions on HP, weight or safety
Pog Brazilian drag racing vibes.

Why does the i3 sound like an i6? I know their roughly on the same family, but do they really sound that alike in real life?

EV drift car when? It'd be amusing for sure.
No ev in automation and the devs said it's never happening
@gbeving3167 they actually have a pseudo ev mode in the game! At least when exporting cars to beamng
Reminds of the Japanese pony cars specifically the Celica when it first came out and was based in the Mustang
btw 2:25.657 is the wr on the hillclimb map
2 minute sponsorship bruh
2 and a half minutes *
Hey thanks for replying sorry about the criticism
XD criticism is always welcome

A two minute raid plug? C'mon man.
:(
now how about a 70s trim for a 1946 sedan body - hell, give it 1 bar turbo
as a aussie yes we have some v8 cars here like ford and etc like the xd ford 1979 falcon ute and holden that died (loss of money) rip them they had really good race cars
youre so good at designing cars dude like wtf
Yes but the rear TURBO writing is not 60's
For the next build: BMW M3 GTR knock off but it's actually a direct competitor to the M3 GTR. Similar specs if desired but go crazy with it.
A 3.5 ltr i3 would be horribly shaky irl 😂
But I love it!
3 cylinders, my fave
Still waiting on that bicycle tires race car build... *wink, wink*
Hi TwinTurBros I love your videos ❤ Can you but your beautiful creations on the Beamng forums ?😅

Look at the real numbers on wikipedia and recreate them to the best of your ability, nothing much to it.
@@themagnushjort okay thx
The front is literally a classic bmw
Nowdays america has smell of inflation and doesn't have that much gas left lol
This looks a LOT like a cross between the Bootlegger and Hammerhead from Saint's Row XD
try make a 1-1-1 ratioed car like for example have horsepower at 1500 torque 1500 and wight at 1500. btw have any system of measurement
Should've put a super charger on it, turbos were sacrilege on muscle cars before the buick
Can you call it a muscle car with only a 3 cylinder?
It can barely be called a car, let alone a muscle car lmao
At the end of the day, there are 7+ liters inline 6 for semit trucks so what's wrong with a 3.5 liters I3
Yeahhhhhhh now someone is taking my suggestions. 3 cyl, 2.5 L twin turbo, 5 valves per cylinder and twin port injection for a start.
Muscle car without the muscle
Nooooo😭😭 you should have made it a Inline 3 supercharger
There aren't superchargers in Automation
@@pedrobarros4837 really??? I don’t know I’m an Xbox player
Torque curve reminds me of an N/A 2.4 I4. Like there's no turbo! 🤣
Big block 3 cylinder🤣
the car looks like it farded and shidded
The open diff is the real crime here, lets be honest.
no way raid shadow legends sponsor 😳
I want a awd version of this car .
Japanese license plate, named like a coffee, not using an engine in a V configuration, you have failed to produce an American muscle car and must start again.
three cylinder hatchback but a drifters make it
A XB falcon with an in-line three
Longest promo I've ever endured
Front end kinda reminds me of a Bmw 635 csi

The American muscle car wasn’t born until 1964 with the Pontiac GTO.
Boxer 4 muscle car
bro you just made an Oldsmobile 442 with that body shape 😭😭
I believe the body u used is a Xb or xd ford falcon
You should do the opposite of this next. A 2M Kei car with a factory-ish mini carb V8.
American but looks like an XB Falcon. . *glares in Australian*
I almost never slam the brakes because they always lock up, even with more modern cars.
Woulda gave it a little more power. Maybe a six speed too
I am the 444th person to like this video and the 70 person to comment.
I3 supercharger
A lot of what you’re saying is “sacrilegious” isn’t, a muscle car just has to be bulky and have a lot of power, think a bodybuilder
Not to blame you but how bad is this car to drift?
It is very not good
congrats of getting a real youtuber xD
But be honest, do you actually play raid?
anyways, see you in the next stream, just as promised
I have played Raid! Probably more then most UA-camrs who get sponsored by them :P
Do mods replace the original cars in beamng?
where's a kek emoji when you need one.
The first muscle car was the 1964 Pontiac GTO and Muscle cars didn’t have V8’s they had Magnums and hemi’s
It's a rx3
Bro the turbo is bigger than the block
How does "most powerfull 3 cilinder" fit with muscle?? we all know that American engines make more noise than power.
