I recommend saving up a bit to get the Ryzen 5 5600, not only for the upgradability in the future, but also because the Ryzen 5 5500 doesn't support PCIE 4.0. Thus not getting the best out of the RX 6600. Great video!
@Manxy Why is that so, you don't have to upgrade everything else. The 5600 can handle much more, butbif your budget is limited right now, just use the RX 6600. Like I mentioned, there's an upgradability path for the future, once you have more money you can upgrade the GPU.
@Kinse Definitely the CPU like I mentioned. Swap the Ryzen 5500 for a Ryzen 5600 non X. I don't think 5600X is necessary right now, if you're on a budget. But for sure Ryzen 5600 since it supports PCIe 4.0. A performance boost there and upgradability if you want to update the GPU down the line.

@@stargirlearth Sure, get the 5600X if you want to. If your budget is limited and absolutely need a PC right now, just upgrade the CPU and stick to the parts. Once you feel the need to you can upgrade the GPU, too. The 5600/5600X can handle pretty much everything up to the RTX 3080/RX 6800XT with little bottleneck. I guess if you're watching this, you have a rather limited budget, so just swap out for a 5600/5600X for now.

Nice
Couple days a go i bought a 500$
Ryzen 5 5500
16Gb DDR 4 3200
GTX 1660super
SSD 500gb
I never built a PC , I only play on them xD so this year once I save up , I plan on finally building my own
I’ve been wanting to play Valorant and Siege and more PC games
I think I’ll be good seeing as you are clear with instructions
just ordered basically the same parts for my first built and i'm in canada and paid less than 625$ CAD glad to see my motherboard and cpu choice was OK
Any other options for the power supply that might be a little more expensive but much better?
when games are actually optimized this thing is a monster
Awesome vibe. I really like watching your video. It is very relaxing.
keep rocking Joey! i've built mine 3 years back thanks to your guide! straight to the point as always!
listen, on pc part picker, does your build say it is not compatible as well?
Those cables and cable combs you guys have are BEAUTIFUL!
Why nobody uses after market coolers for the ryzen 3000/5000 series? Spend the money from the custom cables and get a 4 copper pipe cooler tower, then you will have a true budget build, with good temperatures :D
i used this video to build my very first pc... i litterally built the same exact pc just followed your steps.. i substituted the cpu for a 5600g. thanks bro
How’s it running so far, and are temperatures good?
@@_sgk.150 running great bro ive played everything havent ran into any problems yet.. so far price came in a little more then what the video says (750ish) i think because prices have changed since it was made, temps are great so far so good =)
@@jmier6237 alright thanks for replying
Even if you lost, those were some of the best warzone plays I've seen in my entire life.
This video gave me so much hope and made building a PC so doable. Thanks for this.
I love this video. Very helpful and you are a well spoken man.
I’m very new to pcs and this is the only vid on pcs that I feel certain and not confused tysm, +1 subscriber
Great commentary, clear instruction, right to the point with great tips. I didn't need to build a new PC, just put one together but it had been a while and wish I saw this beforehand.
Thank you very much.
When I do eventually build, I will definitely be using this as a reference.
I appreciated the budget, and the choice of components.
Even though i don't even know how to build a PC, it's just fun to watch!
Putting the IO shield is one of the most underrated steps in building your computer lol
$600-$700 is the sweet spot for a good build
Joey always popin off in games on all the PC’s he builds 🔥
I was searching for searching similar pc build, thanks from India🇮🇳
Built my son's computer for xmas using this video, mine is also from another one of Crater's video lineup. Easy to follow videos as always. Tried to buy the crater RGB strips but they were sold out and had to find them elsewhere. Good to see your products are in high demand though.
just got done building this pc today because im getting back into gaming thank you so much for the great detailed video
How was the pc? Did it function right?
@@masongesell1158 the pc is great and running wonderful
i would recommend it to anyone
what version is you motherboard? is it rev 1.5 or 1.2?
@@lxck7 1.3
Very thanks for free advices and commercial suggestions !
This is THE best PC build video I've ever seen!
I am going to use this pc build and post an update on how well it works, thank you!
please update me. I'm using this same build
Wait a minute. Wait one doggone minute! Finally, a video that's NOT about building a $15,000 PC?? I've copied & paste your build specs into my next PC build. And I plan to build with these specs with an even cheaper price tag. I'm cheap and proud of it.
thanks for benchmarking games like rust since thats the only game I play and I know it is graphically intense.
Will be building this one! Already got the parts just waiting for them to arrive
Just put this build together w some deals for around $550 and it’s kicking ass
PC building skills 10/10. Gaming Skills 11/10
Awesome vid! Building my rig and i ordered all the parts from this vid, except i went with the 5600 over the 5500 and 32gbs of ram and a 1tb 4.0 pcie ssd. Looking forward to putting it together!
Honestly think im about to build the exact same haha
@@yaboidubs9791 worked out perfectly. Getting windows installed was my only hiccup but i figured it out
@@yaboidubs9791 plays just about everything i can throw at it at max graphics for decent fps
@@BulletBillmg Did you need a fan extension cable for the back fan? Because it looked like its not long enough to hook up to the motherboard
@@BulletBillmgdo you get the same fps that he did in the video on war zone ?
You always do such an excellent job showing & explaining! Well done thank you!
First time PC builder. This was great!
i love the video and the explanation, the benchmark, the guide it's just a like that you deserve and the subscription for sure.
I built this similar build using these parts expect for the pc case it runs very beautifully. i cant thank you enough i have something that over exceed my expectation.
what case did you with not big fan this one and don’t which will work
Love the energy in the comments!!!
Just got my pc up and running I like wat I see so far
Youre the reason i include a funco pop figure in all my builds
I thought you hit 10 million subscribers. I hope we see those days too. I've watched so many system build videos that I can put the pieces together blindly. I hope one day I can build a computer for myself.
I'm building my first PC this month, I think I'm going to use everything you listed.
Best instructional video I've seen in a while.
Great video. This make me want to redo all of my cable management. This PC was basically my first full build so I just went with what worked
Thanks Joey I gave you 100 stars and likes I just built it yesterday thank you so much man !!!
how is it so far? i'm thinking of buying and building it soon as well
I have one thing to say about you.
Underrated
Getting all my stuff tomorrow/today(it's 4am) and I got that exact case and of course there's not many build videos of it. But this video is perfect(aside from the cable extensions and clips which I may buy later) to help me build mine. Super excited and nervous for this. Hopefully everything goes well. I got a Gigabyte A520I AC mobo, AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU, MSI GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, Teamgroup 2tb nvme ssd, Thermalright Assassin x120 CPU cooler, and Zalman S2 Acrylic case. Should be good for 1440p. Thanks for the video!
OMGG YOU DESERVE A MILLION OF SUBS, TY SM.
Very detailed on the cable installs. Loved that!
