    I did a similar build but it was a msi 650 pro motherboard and a ryzen 5 7600x I did also go with a seasonice 850w gold rated psu that’s my biggest issue with a lot of these (builds for 1500) videos. I feel like a lot of content markers cut costs on PSU and SSD and sometimes ram or cooler. A decent cooling system is going to save your CPU In the long run and I personally haven’t had good luck with Deepcool and 2nd always and I mean always put at-least an 800+ gold rated PSU in. This is powering your system and a cheap PSU will destroy all your parts if something goes wrong. I love the video but I wish someone would make a more legit video saying (this is a great system in the long run as well as good fps) and don’t cut corners on parts

      The only reason you would ever get a 7800x3d is that down the line you would get a better GPU. ie the new 4070 tie super and above series or 7900xtx.
      So its usually up to the consumer/player, would you get a 7800x3d (hopefully on sale) in hopes in upgrade later. Or just stick with the best mid+ tier combo you can get right now which is a new AM5 cpu+mobo and a strong price to performance 1440p card (which is the resolution i wanns play & stay at)

    I like these videos, really, I do. However, the title is misleading as this is not the best PC for $1500... The power supply is Tier-E (Avoid), overpriced CPU cooler, a $60 case is just fine. When I hear best, I generally think of the *best performance for the cost*, not spending money on unnecessary aesthetics. Even then, a better balance between performance and looks can be found.

    Building my first ever PC, and this video helped a lot. I ordered basically everything the same besides non RGB PNY 6400 mhz ram$90), slightly cheaper Cooling fan - $44, and upgraded from 1TB to 2TB(same brand $114. I had added the exact same items as the video into my Amazon cart, which was a little over $1800. I’m not sure if I had done something wrong, but that was the total that it came out to. With the changes on my order everything came out to around $1650. Still very helpful video especially on the building process, but other than that I am excited to build my first ever PC!

    Just ordered this whole set, but in all black and a couple substitutions. Upgrading from a basic Acer Aspire tc-885 desktop. Only being able to play Minecraft and use FL studio with it. Upgrading to a m.2 SSD and adding 32 gigs of ram really amped the productivity by a mile but still not good enough to run games like Apex/MW/Forza.

    I just built one of these yesterday, overall impressed with it the temps scare me but it’s supposed to be normal. I went with a Wi-Fi/bluetooth board. I went with a crucial 2tb ssd and a 850 watt gold rated psu. I went with the deep cool cooler with digital readout and a deep cool case and 32g 6000mhz ram. Was my first trip to micro center, glad it’s a 2 hour drive as I could see me spending tons of money there if it was closer. I was googling what these are going for prebuilt and it’s anywhere from $1600 to $1800 but none have a Wi-Fi/bluetooth motherboard and only a 1 tb ssd, and a 750 watt psu. I’m all in at $1200 with what I built I firmly believe it would be $1800 or $2000 on Amazon or Newegg. Got the 7800xt for $489 which is the best price I’ve found on it.

    How well does the 7800x3d do with streaming and gaming at the same time? I game and stream and I’m torn between Intel and amd for this reason

    • @sharkey9
      @sharkey9 9 місяців тому +1

      If you're talking about Twitch, streaming with AMD you can only use x264 software rendering. Takes a big chunk off your FPS. The AMD hardware encoder is faster but quality is atrocious.
      You'd want either NVidia GPU using NVenc or Intel CPU with integrated graphics using Quicksync.
      Quality is excellent on both, Quicksync takes almost no extra resources thus almost no FPS loss.
      Don't let anyone tell you that software rendering was the best quality - that was only true like 10 years ago.
