I used to watch your vidoes 4-5 years ago and built my first pc, now i decided it was time for an upgrade, and guess who i had to look up for to get an idea :D. Much love man!
Bro this is exactly what I've going through LOL! Watched Joey back when I built my pc 5 years ago. Now I'm thinking about upgrading and I've come right back to the channel 🤣
I just ordered all of these parts to build my first pc. Rn I got a 5 yr old pc my dads friend built me 1050ti 4gb ram. So excited to get this pc and built it. Thank you sm crater!

I wouldnt recommend same psu of this build ngl but congrats

I'll fill in for brother here. you should go for an 850 watt power supply from EVGA Seasonic superflower, or Corsair. Just make sure you get 80 plus Gold and above! Much love and have fun with your new build ❤
did you build it how's it working? I plan go build the same pc
This is exactly the computer i was hoping to get a guide for, I'm looking to build one with this same specs, thank you so much man
Take 850w and the H7 NZXT but I got the same😮
if you still havent bought it change the power supply, this one is a fire hazard.
Edit: you could also get better storage e.g. a sn770
@@Success3012Aim about to buy the parts today, what do you think its a better power supply for this build??

Cyberpower had pretty close to this set up on a Black Friday deal. Added a keyboard, headset, free avatar game, upgraded the fans, 2 tb adata legend gold, but only came with 16gb team T-force delta sticks instead of 32. $1514.54 after tax! My son loves it. Definitely gonna follow you for when it’s time to upgrade or maybe build my own. You make it look easy.
He definitely explains things just right and doesn't over explain things either confusing first time builders.
Hey Joey! Just wanna say thanks for the numerous pc build videos over the past few years, I finally built my first pc and it was all thanks to you and your videos man!
Nice!
I have a question
is the Ryzen 7 7800x3d not too good for the rx 7800xt?
in some other builds I saw them using the Ryzen 5 7600x instead. I also saw that in some games the gpu was on 100% while cpu only was in 30%@@CRATERHQ
@@barryhastodie7600x is a more common place even a 7600, heck my build that i made was the exact same sapphire pure gpu but a 7600x instead last month.
The only reason you would ever get a 7800x3d is that down the line you would get a better GPU. ie the new 4070 tie super and above series or 7900xtx.
So its usually up to the consumer/player, would you get a 7800x3d (hopefully on sale) in hopes in upgrade later. Or just stick with the best mid+ tier combo you can get right now which is a new AM5 cpu+mobo and a strong price to performance 1440p card (which is the resolution i wanns play & stay at)
Thank you for your amazing content! I knew nothing about computers and I took notes on so many videos you have uploaded and I eventually had the confidence to build my first high end pc because of you. Thank you for your amazing effort helping us newbies learn more.
I’m with you. My sons 16. Been asking to build one since he was like 11. It’s a lot to absorb. I started watching gamers nexus and of course it all went over my head. This is the guy to watch if you want someone to hold your hand with the build.
Incredible, simply incredible, my budget is based on this price and from what I see I'm going to love making this my PC because I like it so much and it's super powerful.
ehhh well at BNH Software I saw that they still have it available, but I would like to find out more about the subject

Wow you put so much time in explaining every step so we can do it by our own. Thanks a lot!!! Really professional :)
Been plotting for the next build. Had this CPU/GPU pair picked out but wasn't too sure about it. This has me sold. Beautiful build
It's kinda amazing how much punch you can put into just $1500. Personally planning to build the full-TUF build with the listed parts (of course, with Asus TUF variants).
This should be my leap into 1440p gaming
The exact video I needed! With benchmarks on the games I currently play. Thank you!🙏. I'm in the process of purchasing this combo 🤑
same here! just ordered all the parts, what cooler did you go with?
I’m about to start ordering the parts slowly, hopefully I can have everything by the beginning of February.
What I’m saying I was thinking 7800xt 7900 xt or 7900 xtx were capable of 180 plus frames I think I 7900 xt cuz here it’s 740 or so n I could be able to mix but let me finish the video I’m revisit when I’m fully ready to buy tho
I’m glad you involved ark for the fps test, I currently have a 1660 super and I can’t even get 20 frames on the damn game and is the reason I’m looking to upgrade. This build is beefy af for a reasonable price!
you would probably get better frames with a 4070 if you remove the clouds and fog and use dlss and frame gen i get around 100 fps like that
Probs worth just not playing the fkn game :D
if a game cant even be played on high graphics over 60fps consistently when spending £1500 etc yet the pc can run everything else perfectly fine....that screams an issue with how the games been optimised and it aint worth spending another 500/1000 for 1 god damn shit game
I was also happy to see ASA in the test games. Too many people play games like Fortnite and Cyberpunk. Fortnite isn't demanding what so ever but ASA spreads it's butt cheeks and lays turds on pcs humbling them HARD.
Like your videos, fun and informative. Returning gamer at 39 years old here. Building a am4 pc from secondhand stuf to keep the cost down as I'll just play from time to time but that doesn't take away any fun from researching what parts to use and building the pc.
Good luck
Bro I just bought all the parts and put it together watching your video and it works great thanks joey
How’s it going with this build ?? I mm thinking of getting these parts too!
hwo is it?
With the cpu cooler fan did urs only come with the intel backplate?
Bough all the exact same parts except for the white case since it’s more expensive than the black, and also upgraded the 750w psu to a 850w
@@midas5616what brand is that 850w psu?
Thank you for showing performance for Rust, almost no one else does Rust and honestly 200+ fps on high settings at 1440p is amazing, I will definitely look into building the same spec pc
Sweden here. I broke the 1500$ barrier after just adding the GPU , CPU and the motherboard to my basket. 2200$ for everything!
same here in norway
well yea things cost more from other countries depending on the economy
I used this video to get inspiration for my build. Very nice and well explained! Just a heads up, I recommend using a gold rated power supply it is actually one of the most important components and going for gold is a safe option.
Noticed how he quickly goes over the gpu settings lol. If you're gaming at 200fps, don't forget that your peripherals needs to accommodate the high refresh rate which he didn't tell you.
Why he dissent turn on fsr?
k
are u talking abt monitor?
Everyone knows this
Building my first ever PC, and this video helped a lot. I ordered basically everything the same besides non RGB PNY 6400 mhz ram$90), slightly cheaper Cooling fan - $44, and upgraded from 1TB to 2TB(same brand $114. I had added the exact same items as the video into my Amazon cart, which was a little over $1800. I’m not sure if I had done something wrong, but that was the total that it came out to. With the changes on my order everything came out to around $1650. Still very helpful video especially on the building process, but other than that I am excited to build my first ever PC!
How did the building go? Is the pc great and is it what you expected?
Just built this same pc with a different case, ssd, and cooler. For $1360 after tax amazing build for the price!

Very nice Build and Guide at the same time i really enjoyed the Benchmarking though, because you tweaked settings like most people will do and did not just cranked max settings. Really good video. Props man.
I build my pc watching this video i literally researched the parts u talk about here and realized its the best fps per dollar for 1440p gaming pc. Fast foward just wanted to come say thank you for the free knowledge!
the 7800X3D is a gaming monster, you can even couple it with an RTX 4090 and you still get the job done for gaming, right now there is a good value in the i5 12600K/KF, I know you did a build with it 3 months ago, but, you still can do another combo, maybe with an RTX 3060 12GB or an RX 6800 XT/ non XT
Would a ryzen 9 7900x be better than the 7800x3d in gaming? I know its certainly better in multitasking due to the cores but how about in games?
@@mrzeno2332
No, definitely not better in gaming, that 3D v-cache isn't just some marketing, it's really doing the job for gaming, you can even put it neck and neck with the i9 14900K in gaming and still the 7800x3d can slightly beat it in some titles!
@@zakaria_ What is the difference in gaming performance, percentage wise? I’m assuming around 15?
@@mrzeno2332
it's around 13% on average
@@zakaria_ you seem to know alot about PC parts so i got a question if u dont mind. Do u have any idea why he would use a bronze rated power supply instead of a gold one in this video? cause surely the gold one is better and i've seen some that aren't that expensive relative to bronze ones, so surely gold is the better option? If so, which one would you recommend that could replace the bronze rated PS for this build?
that is the best pc build video i have seen, keep up the good work
So the CPU and GPU alone would set me back $1400 AUD 😵💫
One of the best pc building videos!!! Very informative!! I haven't really build one myself so I don't know a lotta stuff so this will really help me in the future... Thank you my good man! You earned yourself another subscriber...👍👍
Love the videos Iv been building pc’s now for 15 years. Always nice to see someone doing it well. The only part I would change is the psu. I think a 850 would be better for this build but that’s just my take on this.
literally have the same combo RX 7800 XT + ryzen 7 7800x3d and i have a 650 tuf psu, and it never pulled even on stress benchmark more than 500 watt lol they both are max using 270 and 90 watt.
Agreed.
Putting together a pc with a big smile and talking slow and smooth is more enjoying the vid.. Thumbs up
Each time i see your video your enthusiasm when you build and play games is really great to see
I think it would be better to set the games at 1440 - max settings always, since that can give a better picture on what performance you are getting with that certain price bracket.
A lot of max settings are barely noticeable, I think more realistic settings are a much better bench
It's crazy seeing how good technology has advanced, for 1400 about 2 years ago I built a pc with a 6700xt and a r5 5600
Can you also add amount of power drawn by CPU and GPU during benchmarks, it will help better in understanding temps
The cpu is very power efficient
Been waiting for a build like this!!! Thank you! It’s amazing!
Something like this would cost 2000 in europe
where do you live ?
Something like that would cost 2500$ in my country.....
So, i guess ya'll lucky

I built my H1 with the Sapphire Pure 7800XT and it's an awesome card! I've never used Sapphire before since I came from Nvidia and was only familiar with common brands there. I'm not disappointed at all. I love the aesthetics and it performs amazingly.
every aspect of the gpu is great, but the only things that bugs me is the red light, have u found a way to change colors or turn it off?
@@bicz4250 You can turn it off. I believe there is a switch. Conversely, you can unplug it. I know the color choice can deter some people, I just embraced it and went with a Red/White/Black theme.

I literally shopped today and built a PC that is exactly the same as this minus the case and heatsink 😂. Thought I'd look up a build guide and saw the first video recommended is for my CPU/GPU, so glad I clicked
Just ordered this whole set, but in all black and a couple substitutions. Upgrading from a basic Acer Aspire tc-885 desktop. Only being able to play Minecraft and use FL studio with it. Upgrading to a m.2 SSD and adding 32 gigs of ram really amped the productivity by a mile but still not good enough to run games like Apex/MW/Forza.
I’ve got a feeling once this is built, my Xbox Series X is gonna get real lonely lol. They say once you go PC you never go back 🥴

Thanks for the video. You are also a good gamer bro. First time watching your videos and I loved em
amazing video! simple and the step by step guide is superb 🥰
Literally the setup i want to build this year 🔥
I just built one of these yesterday, overall impressed with it the temps scare me but it’s supposed to be normal. I went with a Wi-Fi/bluetooth board. I went with a crucial 2tb ssd and a 850 watt gold rated psu. I went with the deep cool cooler with digital readout and a deep cool case and 32g 6000mhz ram. Was my first trip to micro center, glad it’s a 2 hour drive as I could see me spending tons of money there if it was closer. I was googling what these are going for prebuilt and it’s anywhere from $1600 to $1800 but none have a Wi-Fi/bluetooth motherboard and only a 1 tb ssd, and a 750 watt psu. I’m all in at $1200 with what I built I firmly believe it would be $1800 or $2000 on Amazon or Newegg. Got the 7800xt for $489 which is the best price I’ve found on it.
