You did a great job! All those nubs were worth it. Less or more, both came out great! I guess, for me, it'll be how I feel at the moment. Love the color combo. Thanks so much for figuring it all out!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Fantastic, I like your creativity. Cool technique.
Heyy thank you!!
I also work with fused glass. The payoff is the cold work when working with glass much as the payoff is with crisp lines and attention to detail when dying. I find doing this kind of detail work rewarding in many ways. Some corners can be cut but a disciplined approach helps produce reliable results.
I appreciate your attention to details! I need to look up fused glass. It sounds interesting. Thanks for watching :)
I love it!! I wish you would show your dye placement. Thanks for making this!
In the recent video “geode tie dye secrets” around the 2 minute mark, I show how I place dye. It was basically the same. Except for this one I didn’t use seafoam.
Got recommended to check you out on my story on tiktok because I have been racking my brain with this. First 2 looked nothing like it and the gatekeeping sucks. Thank you so much. I did 2 already that were big time fails 😂😂. I wasn't far off, I just didn't do individual nubs but was gonna try today and make lil nubs with fishing line but somehow tweaked my back last night so I'm just gonna rest till it stops hurting. Love your results awesome work 👏👏💙💙💙
I hope you feel better quickly!! Thanks for stopping by and offering encouragement. The gate keeping drives me bonkers. Like, if you want to keep a secret, just don’t post about it online. 😅
@@corkylorenz thank you and also completely agree with you on that. I started a yr ago this month as a form of self/art therapy and it's helped so much and have loved the support and encouragement and also teaching me how to do stuff. Met a lot of awesome and helpful people. My fav design is mandalas with a triangle back but now also starting to design the sleeves as well. Mostly I make them for myself unless someone wants it. With this design I see I wasn't rolling it tight enough and also didn't do the nubs just bent it it and tied it in half inch to inch intervals. Boy how wrong I was lol. Once again thank you for the tutorial 💙💙
@@corkylorenzgot on tied up now looking like the lil hand from scary movie "take my little hand" 😂😂probably gonna do hwi tomorrow cause its fast and washout in an hour 😂. After the sinew I did wrap with fishing line cause I love the effects of thin lines. Im full of anxiety right now 😂 mine doesn't look like yours though.
I agree with you about how much effort is worthwhile. Idk how people spend so many hours tying and dying. Their work is amazing but I don’t have it in me physically to spend so many hours on my tie dyes. It’s really cool looking and thanks 🙏🏽for sharing a tutorial on the cosmic egg. Why does everyone sas? I do because that’s what I learned but do I have to? It’s more work and if I can skip that I am from now on. 😜
Better than many I've seen. Interesting experiment. Thanks for sharing.
AMAZING!!🎉 Really interesting. How clever of you. It is like a drawing/painting.😁👍
Thank you!! 🥰
Very cool! Love your color choices too 😁
Thank you so much!!
Looks great! 💙 I love the colors on this one! I put a video up on the cosmic style as well.
I think it's cute that your wall is different colors and that you're not even bothered by it. 😂
Tunnel vision on the crafts 🤣
Thank you for this tutorial. Good stuff! Love that shirt and color combo!
So pretty!
Thank you! 😊
The front of the shirt looks like a big alien bug with antenna on the bottom, really lovely!!
Oh ya! I see that now! Thanks for watching ❤️
i love kenney style but i never understood 25+ hours on a single shirt. sure they sell for 300+ dollars but when you factor in labor, and expenses...its not much at all. theres someone out there making a batch of mediocre shirts for 10X more money for 10x less time . and sure they can argue its not for the money but we all know it always is, especially these days. after the pandemic for most of us who didnt make money off their crafty talents sure changed gears and started to out of necessity
There’s definitely a fine balance between price and how much detail to put in. Also, even designs that used to be new/exciting will eventually not be novel anymore, and not sell for much.
@@corkylorenz I agree. It comes down to how you market it with the packaging and details and quality of blanks . Like anything else with competition. You edge out where you can to stand out and be relevant in a world of irrelevance
