Your techniques and videos are a lot of fun. You teach extremely well and your ways of folding leave a lot of room for freedom and experimentation. I love that!
I do my best to rest in that vibration, but I am human and experience all of the vast array of emotions we get to feel while on earth. I always use them as lessons to expand, but woooooah, what a ride😁🙏
Thanks so much brother. Are you in Asheville as well? I'm facilitating a conscious creation ceremony, where we will channel in meditation tapestries, that everyone will get to take home and then a 2 hour sound healing journey at a beautiful retreat space in Mars Hill. Would love to connect with you in person my brother 🙏 www.soundofanewdawn.com/event-details/hand-dyed-tapestry-workshop-with-sound-healing
Went to school in Boone during the late 2000's and spent a lot of time in Asheville - grew up and live in Raleigh. The date for this event might be too soon to put plans together, but I'm very interested for this type of community event in the future! Thanks for doing this kind of outreach.@@PsychedelicSerenity
New to tie dye. I got all the stuff i am ready to make a me dope stuff. Thank you for the paterns. Ideas. Love. Teaching. Appreciate you brother. Soul work. Stress relief
Love it! This is the first video of your's I've watched. Subscribed! I teach high school art and have art club after school. Some of the kids love tie dye and I'm always looking for newer stuff! Thank you for sharing your talent!
been preparing to get ready and fold all day with you, had to go pick up some bow string, AMAZING RECOMMENDATION!!! Thanks so much for that tid bit!!! Also found a very close archery to partner up with, in special ordering for me :'-) amazing people! So excited to create this masterpiece!!!! thank you so much for sharing your amazing vibes man!
Dude.. this is my first time seeing your work.. i was very skeptical watching your process but OMG! This shirt is so dope!! Ive got ideas fluttering around in my head so thanx for the inspiration!! You're awesome!!😍🥰😍
Good to find you Mark, my question on the bow string, is it round? Sinew is flat, round would seem to have some advantage, in my mind. Appreciate your thoughts
I invite you to play a little bit and explore your creativity. All the dye placement and colors are all intuitively selected so there isn't really a right way or a specific way I apply dye. I am the vehicle the universe expresses itself through. Let go a little bit and try new things. You don't want to make an exact copy of my art anyways. Put your signature on it, these are guides and keys to unlock the creative energy within. And remember to have fun my friend 🙏
hey dude, been diggin your work on IG and am grateful you've started making these vids. really cant wait to try this... just am curious what brand/line of blank you use? I like the cut
Thanks my friend. I appreciate the love and support. I used Gildan Ultra Cotton Pfd for this one and typically use them. I use Gildan Hammers for all my Reverse work🙏
LOVE THIS!! I have my shirt all tied up, going to dye tomorrow. Do you use any black ? Also mixing dye, is it just water and dye then the soda ash ? Please keep posting more videos!!!! Thank you
I have a dye mixing tutorial that goes over exactly how I mix my dyes. And yes I always use black at the end. I look forward to see your creations my friend
This turned out really nice; I'm really surprised that it didn't muddy up with the soda ash water poured over right after dying. I'm pretty new to tie dye still so never tried that; I've been pre-soaking everything. Do you find it better with this method? I'll look for the tapestry video you mentioned too. Thanks for the tutorials and sharing your ideas! 💥🖤💥
Thank you so much for your creativity, sister, and welcome to the beautiful world of tie dye. I really appreciate you checking out my tutorials. As far as the method being better....its all just preference.... The Pariah method is the method I prefer to use 1. I don't like folding and tying my shirts with soda ash because it tears my hands up, and I don't want to wear gloves during those processes. 2. I think it adds so cool blending effects. . I do, however soak some of my ice dyes, as I explained in my latest video. And just remember there is no better or worse in life. That is the Greatest gift creation has ever given us...Life fundamentally has no built in meaning. Which means you and I get to make up the meaning for everything single thing we experience. That is how we create our realities sis. How fucking powerful is that!? . I can tell you the pariah method is better, but until you try it and define it better or worse for yourself, you won't actually know what is better or worse for you until you experience it. Could be better for me and worse for you. Ok....I'm rambling...lol.... . Have a beautiful day and thanks again.
@PsychedelicSerenity I look forward to it! I've went through all the tye dye videos on UA-cam and yours are by far the best! Thank you 😊 🙏 do you have a video on all the materials you use? Dyes specifically. Much appreciated 💚💜🩷💛
Absolutely beautiful! Just a question: since you tied it up, why aren't there white lines where the string was? All of the shirts I tie with sinew always have white lines. Is it because you use bow string and not sinew? Thanks!!
Correct. The bow string doesn't have the same resistant quality as the sinew. You can definitely achieve white lines with the bowstring but you have to wrap it around the area 4 to 5 times and then pull tight. Anything tied tight enough will resist. With bow string you typically will still have lines but they will be filled in with color

Oops, I just did two shirts and was tying them sinew tight…
I guess I’ll have some saturation issues
What design is your sweatshirt … that is dope !!
That is my Asymmetric Psychedelic design. Maybe I'll make that tutorial next😁
Congratulations sister, you won the giveaway, please shoot me your address to my email and I'll get it out to you🙏 Thanks again sister
Mark after we pour on the soda ash should we “batch” the piece for 24 hours?
Yes 24 hours for best results.
When you do your pleats is your shirt dry?
Yes ma'am....dry as a bone and not soaked in soda ash...I found them easier to work with and my handa don't dry out😁
Is that lime green or is the neon yellow/green color just some of the blue bleeding into lemon yellow? I have yet to find a truly neon yellow/green
I used lime pop for sure and that is mostly what ya see but I'm sure they're is some bleeding going on in there too!
Thanks so much!@@PsychedelicSerenity
Have you ever ice dyed this design? Do u think it would work?
Yeah I definitely ice dyed this design...its a little tricky with the bleed but sometimes you get some really cool unexpected effects
Really cool looking shirt my dude!
Thank you for sharing your art works 😅😊
Thank you for checking it out my friend🙏
Awesome ❤🎉
Thank you my friend
