The thing i love about lies of p, even though some might not agree, is that we actually get conclusive answers and closure. On a side note, that is such an amazing way to reveal a sequel.
Im really glad this channel decided to give this one a chance too. I was too skeptical of Lies of P at first, even tho it was a game that captured my interest since the very first trailer, because some friends played before me and said the game had a lot of problems (that were gladly fixed, most of them, before i picked it up). And i never really expected it to be such a masterpiece of a game. The way they created such a genius Souls-like story that settles on the pillars of what made the original Pinoccio what it was, was absolutely brilliant. And that moment with Sophia after the battle with Laxasia is still to this day the moment that touched me the deepest in any souls game i've ever played, and i've gone through most of them at this point. Brilliant, indeed. Thank you for the video!
That moment with Sophia, and the good ending to the game, with the post credit scene made this game a top 3 souls game for me. It doesn’t beat the game play of Elden ring or Sekiro.. but when you combine lore, and the emotion of the game.. it’s a masterpiece

Strangely enough, this game has the magic of making many legendary UA-camrs who have disappeared for a long time become active again. Thanks for acknowledging a hidden gem.
We can say a lot of things about this game and it's indeed incredible but it's not hidden it was one of the most well known games of the year it came out.
An interesting theory to note, especially if you want to take into account the teased sequel, is that the player characters isn’t Pinocchio at all. His name is never referenced. The nameless puppet is the actual “puppet of geppetto” and is also the one that geppetto wishes to become a real boy. “P,” or so we call him, is simply a mechanical tool, a means to an end, that was created with human-like capabilities. Throughout his journey, we see him become more and more human, even beginning to note the pounding of his, albeit formerly, human heart. Perhaps, “P” could be more reminiscent of the tin man. Something that certainly seems way out there, but, especially with Dorothy being teased as a sequel with her entering Krat, could be a possibility.
That was INCREDIBLE! Your voice, your delivery, the editing, the camera angles, the effort, it's just insane. Can't wait to watch more of your content, keep it up!

@@Thebrotherscode right now I'm working on two different comic series. One is a dark souls fan comic and the other is an original fantasy comic about a monster slayer. I honestly couldn't be doing the dark souls comic without people like you going over stories and lore to provide new perspectives and deeper looks at everything to help me flesh things out
When I first going the ending I found it incredibly fascinating that the developers were taking a route of retelling old childhood stories as creepy tales. It reminds me of the "true ending" of Disney princesses. Like how Ariel actually cut her lounge, or how the evil sisters in Cinderella cut there limbs to fit the shoe, only for Cinderella's pet birds to pluck there eyes out. It just amazes me how the next tale in this (possible) series will be The Wizard of Oz. And it makes me wonder how that game will be. It would be pretty cool to have a Wizard of Oz souls like game. Bravo to the developers to making such a masterpiece.
First thing I noticed. The laws for the puppets are similar to the laws for the robots in IRobot. I thought that was cool. I wonder if any contradictions will take place 👀👀
As a hobby i do fantasy writing and soon enough I'll be able to practice game design. I've struggled many a time with the cliche of "nothing is original" however, as a writer I've seriously thought about what "original" means. Despite the many comparisons that one could make, and those that are clearly within this story, this game has reinvigorated my creative spirit. Sure, the industrial era existed, sure Pinocchio and alice in wonderland exist already, but Lies of P didnt before they decided to release it. This has shown me that things may not be original, but they can be unique, and Lies of P has it in spades
I'm just waiting for the sequel when Vinini becomes a Victorian era batman, haha. It's amazing how well they did combining the very bloodborne theme while keeping a really authentic combination between the original serial and the disney movie
2:27:31 i watched Ragegamingvideos' playthrough of Lies of P, and what Geppetto said there was "you're just a useless puppet". let me tell you that i was angry and let down by that sentence, after avenging him. now, i know that what he says during his death depends on the actions a player chooses - lying, is my presumption. this sentence, plus the realization i just voiced above, gives me peace of mind, knowing Geppetto, under the right circumstances, acknowledges P as his son. thank you. 2:34:36 i thought P died. glad to know he's just sleeping. thanks again for putting my mind at peace.
This is such a good video! I was interested in Lies of P because of its similarities to Bloodborne but never actually followed it closely. Judging by everything presented in this video, I was wrong not to check it out! Seems like the developers have put a lot of effort and heart into their game, this is such a captivating narrative.
Already listens to this a few times, it’s awesome, I was wondering though if you guys were going to do lords of the fallen? I haven’t tried it yet myself but the way you tell the stories always relaxes me during a shift

@@Thebrotherscode it's gonna take awhile to finish the dark souls comic but I could send you some previews over Twitter if you would like.
The video Vaatividya was afraid to make. Great job on this!
Hope there's a Lords of the Fallen video on the way like this.
This was done SO WELL! You really have a way with words! Kudos!
Lounge?

I am able to sleep peacefully once again
“To make matters worse” how much worse can it fucking get? Damn!
I'm just waiting for the sequel when Vinini becomes a Victorian era batman, haha. It's amazing how well they did combining the very bloodborne theme while keeping a really authentic combination between the original serial and the disney movie
Been looking for weeks for a good story vid on this game. First one i could sit through great video
Thanks for your video. You put a lot of time and thought into it.
2:07:38 I would have thought your hair lightened as a constant reminder that Sophia was with you.
This is going to be good and its over 2 hours.

Saving this for later when I'm on my shift 😂
Already listens to this a few times, it’s awesome, I was wondering though if you guys were going to do lords of the fallen? I haven’t tried it yet myself but the way you tell the stories always relaxes me during a shift
awesome. always love your stuff
Such a beautifully well written game. Although Souls-like, this game in particular really stood out to me for its story-telling and profound lore.
Well worth the wait!
PEAK IS FINALLY HERE
I watched this while preparing for bed, and had a nightmare I was apart of the puppet murder rampage. Now all I think about watching this😂
means you did a good of a job in story telling 👏
That's crazy. Good to know that the video had an impact! 🤣
@@Thebrotherscode testament to your detail & breakdown of the world within Lies of P. To wake up after running for my life during the puppet frenzy, definitely left a lasting impression with your content and game overall. Had to give you your flowers 🌸 on this video 🙏🏾
Yea i got 2 hours lets do this bloodborn dude
My dumbass heard: "After Carlo's passing, his ergo was placed in pee."

I love all your videos and I will watch more than gladly this too ❤.
If may I have a request, can you do a lore/story video about Armored Core 6 please?
We appreciate your support! We haven't had the time to play Armored Core 6 but we will keep it in mind for the future! ♥
I love your videos ❤
the king is back
This is great! I haven't seen or checked but do you guys plan on doing lords of the fallen as well? That'd be awesome haha
We're not really big fans of Lords of the Fallen to be honest. We haven't really looked into the lore so it might be good, but the gameplay puts us off.
Finally someone that mentions Toma
Yeah boooooy! Love you intent guys, please keep it up! Also, would you consider covering Remnant lore?
Yes, we haven't play Remnant but heard good things about it. Thanks for watching! ♥
