Just wanted to point out a very big brain play at 23:40 to OTK through 2 backrow: Kageki summon Mizuho, then use priority to tribute Kageki, popping Mirror Force and dodging the Bottomless with Cunning since there is now a Samurai in the grave. Good stuff.

This game damands a lot of grinding, i've played this game about 300 hours and i unlock every cpu opponent in both singe and tag duels, i have beat them all at least 5 times each and the same goes to the story opponents to just like jack atlas and yusei fudo. Also I unlocked all packs and i have all the cards in the game 100 % but now i want to go to a different level i want to unlock all bonuses how can i do that? Please help me i want to fulfill this game 100%
i like how the tas'er uses the thunder dragon discard and draw to reset the cards on the top of the deck. then uses traps to draw and then again the dragon to reshuffle. genius move, way better then restarting from before a duel trying to get the perfect exodia hand the first time
Every duel, there is at least 1 Mataza the Zapper/ Hayabusa knight with a bunch of other equip spells or a trident warrior/ marauding captain. Then in turbo duels every draw is an exodia piece/draw traps/ Sangan/ Mystic Tomatoes. Cleaver, but if all those cpu's had actual Trap cards. It is a speed run and the draws look assisted but its still entertaining.
The TAS is supposed to demonstrate what a ‘perfect run’ looks like; this amount of luck in an RNG game is nigh-unachievable in a real speedrun. If you EVER come close to finishing this game like this in the amount of time a TAS takes to finish it, quit whatever job you have, because you NEED to go to Vegas.
Miss these games, they're still the best way to experience old formats (you can play edison format in 2010 and 2011 if you ignore the frog otk garbage). As much as I'd love konami to make more WC games, they probably wouldn't be close to the quality of the gba/ds classics, but hey at least we have master duel and duel links I guess.

A lot of the post-battle quotes by the opponents are hilarious in context. "No good draws to day" bro you lost in less than 3 turns, bad draws are kinda irrelevant.
It's really easy, just get a deck based around pure destruction. They only have 3 Meklords in their decks, and destruction gets rid of them as fast as they summon them, and they can't easily get them back once they're destroyed.

This game was awesome but I felt like it came out just a little early. Most of the cards that defined the most powerful archetypes in 2010-2011 TCG format were soon to be released in OCG, but didn’t make it into this game like most of the XX-saber support, Infernity Barrier, and Hyper Librarian to name a few. Late 2011 introduced Reborn Tengu (another TCG exclusive, so it probably wouldn’t have made it in, but Tag Force had cards it it that weren’t in the game at all, so I don’t see why they couldn’t just put some TCG exclusives in) which made a whole bunch of decks really good. Basically every top tier deck except for six samurai was incomplete because of weird TCG/OCG disagreements and it would have been solved if Konami waited a little longer. Also my pet Banish Psychics were never available in any of these games :(
Crystal Bry those are the better two cards to have. I built a list that is more similar to what you probably have access to. It’s not set in stone and I’ll give you some substitutions if you need them. Keep in mind, it might yet take a few times to win this but it is possible with this list (I’ve won with it but again I don’t know what level you are at) Monsters Alien Shocktrooper 2x gem- knight Garnet Armored Bee (blackwing Gale the whirlwind is better) 2 breaker the magical warrior (for 1900 beatstick and s/t removal) 2 caius the shadow monarch (best spot removal monarch) 3 Cyber Dragon (a special summonable 2100 dude) Des Koala Exploder Dragon 3 giant rat Mobius the Frost Monarch 3 Gravekeeper’s spy Ryko, lightsworn Hunter (2 or 3 copies are acceptable) Spirit reaper Super nimble mega hamster (fetches Ryko) Zaborg the Thunder Monarch Spells Lightning vortex 2 mystical space typhoon Smashing ground (multiples are good, I’d run up to 2 copies) Book of Moon, as many as you have (enemy controller is a similar card that is very good in its own ways, often allowing for turnaround plays when you steal their best monster.) Traps 2 bottomless trap hole (sakuretsu armor works but BTH is a lot better since you can bottomless gottoms or another monster that would allow its summon) Compulsory Evacuation Device (free synchro removal and tempo gainer, allows you to occasionally get over walls) Dust tornado Gottoms emergency call (if you have any this is a really cute card since it lets you steal their sabers from their gy, but it is ultimately a matter of choice, this was a preferred tech/side deck card during 2010-11 TCG competitive play for this reason) Mirror force Royal Oppression The other slots can be filled with your choice. The other avenue worth exploring if you have the cards is stun. Swap out the monarchs, exploder dragon, Ryko, koala and hamster for 2 skill drains and big monsters with easy summon conditions: cards like beast king barbaros, geartown and ancient gear dragon, machine fortress etc. anything that has a drawback that skill drain negates is a worthy card to include. The way to play in order to win the game is to put out efficient threats while countering and stopping Malcolm from having multiple monsters in play. You want to prevent him from being able to faultroll, but if he does, you need to figure out if he can make big synchro plays after that. Try to prevent him from summoning hyunlei since losing your back row to that in this deck can be lethal. Luckily he seems to prefer gottoms and you should take advantage of this (ai manipulation) to bottomless or oppression on his big plays. Be selective when you use Oppression as well, since he can and will use it on you if given the opportunity. You want to play it properly since Oppression is probably the strongest single card against him, and don’t be afraid to pay 800, life points don’t matter as much here if he can’t summon anything big. Be smart when attacking as well since he too plays mirror force. Try to pick it off with MST or Dust Tornado and attack sparingly if his back row is full. The deck has a limited ability to come back once he is at 2 or so cards in hand but beware of ragigura because he can make plays with it+ another saber+ faultroll. He can also use fulhelmknight to destroy a defense position monster, summon another saber from gy and then faultroll. Book of moon (the most versatile card in Yugioh) helps to stop faultroll being summoned for a turn and has other good applications like protecting monsters from bottomless and mirror force.This is the best time to drop lightning vortex or something similar to wipe the board, since he can’t attack that turn and will likely end the turn with 2 or more big monsters. So in short, play smart. Counter his big plays with traps and think proactively, but don’t try to win super fast. Let me know if there’s anything you need cleared up.

I know it's been years, but does anybody know how to unlock pulse of trishula? I battled everyone multiple times and I still haven't got it. I tried google it but every time is a different answer. In the beginning I didn't care about collecting all the cards but now I do :P So Help please??

Man, I love this game with my LIFE. But the AI is just TOO slow, yesterday I was playing against it and it took A WHOLE MINUTE to think about a strategy and just put 2 cards face down and that was it. I lost it.
Not man, but machine makes this run possible This run is a tool-assisted speedrun, meaning that it is played by a computer inputting into an emulator and manipulating RNG to perform a run theoretically possible for a human to do, but would be incredibly unlikely

Those fucking Six Sam comboes at the start were fucking amazing, I thought I was watching Junk Speeder Turbo or Snake-Eyes for a second there.

i realize that all exodia is doing is giving one really epic high 5. this is why they never let L start the race duels. he just owns to fast. i didn't know you kept your hand from duel to duel.
In the WRGP style duels yeah. In the older games the duels started over while keeping up to 10,000 LP.

I beat Jakob by using i trap card by building up his monsters attack and he took all the damage
i cant find success with that exodia deck i keep getting useless monster cards like the warrior and cyber valley

This game was a downgrade compared to the previous one.
First game was a the first story of 5ds(it was an amazing story) this one is the second story ( cards are better)
