Gotta comment here too to give the algo engagement. To echo what i said on reddit, that should have the Rage 128 which is good enough to play 3D accelerated games which is a huge step up for previous iMacs.

Great to see another post, from you on the last week of 2021. Please record when you are loading OS 9 software because, this is the kind of content that, I enjoy watching. From viewing others many times, I get to earn something new.
Also, I have never been a fan of the CRT iMac's created by Steve Job's but, I must admit these colorful desktops saved the company. When these were new, I preferred the tan G3 All-in-One desktops. Why, because they had a 15-inch Sony CRT, CD-ROM, floppy drive, zip drive, video capture card, and three internal open PCI slots with room to add one PCI card with USB "A" ports and another PCI card to add Fire-wire 400 ports, plus this would still leave you with a free open internal PCI card slot for something else in the future (smile...smile).

I will 100% record any future shenanigans with this machine, hopefully finding a better way to record it either through screen recording or otherwise.
I personally love these iMacs and their aesthetic, but I do get the love for those tan desktops also, and that expansion is so useful. :-)

Btw, about the refresh rate, you may wanna play with the shutter speed on your camera, it takes some trial and error but I’m sure you’ll get it eventually :)
Also, are you considering an ssd upgrade on it? Ah, and remember to replace the battery on the logic board, you don’t want leakages in there!

The old Macs are cool. IMHO apple lost the style long time ago.
I have one old iBook but sadly can't find any good apps to it that would be needed.
I love these too, I agree that they lost their cool style.
You should try out macintoshrepository! They have heaps of apps for everything you can think of. :)
