Today I open and review the Diablo 14-inch Steel Demon 72T Cermet II Carbide Ferrous Metal Saw Blade. I got this blade off Amazon like most consumables I buy. I was buying the Evo brand cold cut blades but these are a better price, so I figured I’d give one a go.
Heres the link to buy the blade:

I run the 10" version of this blade on my chop saw, and I love it. I haven't tried the evolution blades, so I can't compare the two, but the Diablo blade is great

thanks for the review, wondered on the blades, but I am still using abrasive chop saw, but it was Milwaukee, cheap at pawn shop, already had for a bunch of years, and thanks to a store reset, I bought dozens of new 14" abrasive wheels for about $2 each, I bought all 6 local stores had, but when I finally put last blade on, I bet I will look for a new chop saw, like Evolution

I have an Evo S355 metal chop saw, l got it new last August and so far its been great. It remains to be seen how good the blade is? I have run an Evo blade on my Makita abrasive chop saw but it was a bit too fast really. I have learned not to cut through welds with the Evo blades, they dull very quickly and become useless.

I've had lots of diablo products go through my shop and I've been happy with them but never the 14" cold cut blade.

Since its been about 8 months now, how do you like that Diablo blade? Do you still have the same blade on you saw or have you had to swap it out? Just like to get your thoughts on it now.

I ended up swapping it after cutting a few stainless tubes like a dummy.

Hows it holding up? I have an Evolution saw and need a new blade. Dont know if i should go back with the Evo or try Diablo. Diablo is 72 teeth compared to 66 tooth on the 14" Evo.

I bought 10 inch Diablo for my radial arm saw just for cross cut steel sheet metal maybe 1/8 or 1/4 inch . Is that ok?

If it's competitive with steel demon 14" that cuts railroad track, I'd say your good !...only the radial arm saw base is wood I'm thinking !...sparks may be a problem 🤷🤷🤷🤷

Those metal cutting blades are best at the lower RPM. I sprung for the lower geared / speed EVO saw, use the 15 inch blade for steel.
