I hate that Jordan gets all the blame for this loss. The pick 6 was bad, yes. But where’s the mention of the 6 drops from open receivers, some of which were in the end zone. Where’s the talk about the missed kick from McManus? What about the 2 mis-snaps from Jenkins when the packers were having a great drive? And don’t forget all the penalties on offense. This wasn’t a Jordan loss, this was an offense loss.
I may be the biggest Jordan love fan and packer fan. But this is on him… take away just the pick six and keep all the other mistakes and we probably win. Just cannot do that period injured or not. Bad weather or not. The way our defense played and the way Josh Jacobs played, Jordan love let us down, and our pass catchers had a lot of drops early too. But I think what the fans need to focus on is last year we were 3-6, and that we play better playing teams a second time. We will win when it matters
@JakeWilsonMMA take away the pick 6 and keep everything the same. With the way the game was going we wouldn’t have scored on that pick 6 drive and game would’ve been 17-14 with us losing. More respectable but still a loss. Maybe if Malik was in we could’ve done it but we’ll never know cause that wasn’t the case. Overall though this loss isn’t all on Jordan

I don't blame any players for the losses I blame the coaching for not playing Malik and played Jordan who clearly is injured way more than there saying because you can clearly see that he's not even close to what they paid for. They had a chance to rest love for almost 3 weeks and let Malik be the best chance for us to win.
That Branch hit only looked late in slow mo... not normal speed. Intentional? I don't think he intentionally went for the helmet to helmet. I think he lowered his shoulder and his head got in the way. Penalty? Yes. Ejection? No.
Gibbs averaged 5.9 yards/carry, DaMo averaged 4.3. Saying Detroit averaged 3.9 because of Goff's "3 carries" and Kaleif's -12 yards, while true, is missing the point. The RBs, with 28 rushes, averaged 4.9 yards a carry. That's controlling the line.
It's the run game for lions.. thats the reason they're doing so good rn. Run game opens up the wide open recievers.. Look at their only loss this year to the bucs... Whyd they lose? Goff threw over 50 times. it was literally like 53 or something.. since then, he's thrown an average of 25 passes per game and theyve neen running over pple.. easy 5, 10, 15 yard passes and run game.
Stats cannot be assessed independent of the score. Teams with the lead scale back, making the loser's defense look better as the game goes on, while the loser also compiles yards in catch up mode. The score is all that matters.
I hate to say this but Green Bay is overrated. Defensively they have got much better but their receivers do not get separation and all they do is drop balls. They have all year consistently. So they are the antithesis of what traditionally good receivers are suppose to be. Good receivers get open and catch balls. Green bay receivers with maybe the exception of Reed scare no one . In the glory years of Jennings, Driver, Nelson, and Cobb, they were the deep bunch. This group has to be schemed to get open or try to catch contested balls. Every game against every team. That's why Love has so many picks. Defensive backs are draped all over them. They do have a good offensive line and running game though why they don't use them more I couldn't tell ya.
Loves has to understand game awareness . They have under a minute and the length of the field to go. Against one of the league's best defenses. He has to Understand the game.
I absolutely love the way MLF calls a game but I really do feel like the play calling was attributed to so many drops. now by all means it comes down to the player catching the ball but when its raining sideways maybe play more comeback/ curl routes than quick aggressive slants. when you throw a slant and its raining there is more probability of balls ricocheting off the target, rather than a nice pocket catch radius from a curl route. just something I watched happen through the whole game. did anyone else notice that? I totally get the packers love the crossing mismatches, but in the rain I feel that those type of plays are more difficult to execute.
The hot streak Love was on at the end of last season was also luck. He definitely played better, as did the whole team, Love still put the ball in harms way during that streak, I remember the defenders just not making the catches. Also yesterday Detroit got up big, and they went into prevent mode, if GB had actually threatened, I think Detroit would have had no problem putting up more points. This game wasn’t anything close to the final score line.
As a Lions fan, who watched the game, has had decades of what GB is going through now (hopium), let me clue you in… Jordan Love is not good. He’ll give you just enough to keep believing but always fall short. You’ve got two backup QB’s.
What happened to the run game? I missed the entire second half but it looks like Jacobs had the same amounts of yards at he had at the end of the game as did at the half.
Why did LaFleur abandon the run? They were gashing the Lions in the first half and it was a fricking monsoon. He panicked and completely lost his composure in the second half. Pathetic performance by the team and the coach.
I agree the team played bad but he is the leader. If guys are dropping the ball and making stupid penalties. You can tell them we need everyone with their head in the game. That includes the QB. There is plenty of room on the bench. The next man up wants your job!
This was a team loss. All these drops and penalties are resulting from poor preparation, and it starts with MLF. They shouldve sat Love the whole game and absolutely should've the 2nd half. He's not himself right now and he needs to get healthy and stop putting the ball in harms way. Without the pick 6, the drops, and the penalties, this is a VERY different game and, maybe I'm biased, but I think the packers would have won: when you hold the best offense in the NFL to 17 points that should be a receipe for success. They were running the ball well and had every opportunity to win this game but didn't because they couldn't get out of their own way; its been the same story all season long
Worth noting that the weather will affect the run game. Hinder the ability to make clean cuts. Dry conditions, Lions steam roll Packers. Remember, Lions were at the ten yard line to end it. we could have ran it up. Goff took a knee. No need to do more than necessary.
I remember hearing about how Gute was "building a bully". Instead he has built a team to be bullied. Let's beat the Bears after the bye and move forward.
Jordan Love should not of even played against Detroit Lions. Should of set out and got two weeks to heal. It isn't about how you start, it's about how you finish. Stop the dumb penalties and play smarter and better everything will work out. GO PACK GO!!
honestly, all off you guys just lie about jordan love every week. even when his numbers are good he is still sloppy. His stats every week are dependent of if the opposing defense can catch or make good plays because love is gonna make alot of ill advised throws every week and sometimes he just gets lucky and they work
Crazy how no one is mentioning that the Packers literally couldn’t stop shooting them selves in the foot with a 12 gauge for the entire game. Packers would’ve lost to anyone with how they played on Sunday
I don't hear anyone mentioning the fact that the Packers allowed two divisional teams to beat them at home. They were hearing too many people say the are a Super Bowl contender. They look like they are nothing but pretenders. Get your heads in the game and play like winners!
Brian Branch should not have been ejected. Not even the biggest cry baby packer fan would agree with that call. You only liked the ridiculous call, because it should have given you a huge competitive advantage. Instead Detroit rallied around the egregious call and Detroit blows out the packers again in Lambeau.
Jordan love is not gonna clean up the interceptions. The receivers need to bring their hands to the games. Packers have the highest drop balls percentage in the league. Also Oline love getting laundry.
I agree 100% on the take about throwing out Brian Branch from the game. We can debate all day about whether players SHOULD be ejected from games for that, but IF you are going to make it a rule that they get thrown out if it's intentional targeting then that was definitely an example of that. I said the same thing about the Dez catch in the playoffs years back (for those that remember!), I don't agree with the rule, but I agree that they called it according to the rule. He had an additional step, had time to see that the ball was out, and still lowered his head RIGHT into his helmet on that hit.
How a coach goes from having great game plans and great play calling to not having the team ready and so soft. Plus Love should have been taken out after halftime.
Why do they keep saying the Lions are an indoor team?! The players live in Detroit! And they practice outside lmao, a true dome team is like Atlanta or New Orleans

Again the youngest team in the NFL Love has 27 games of experience so far. He could go either way from here; does he figure it out or just bounce around from team to team as a backup. I do think they are being a bit to forgiving on his decision making this year. And bench Wicks bring in Heath
its just so obvious it was targeting, and the lions players were being excessively violent all game long. there’s a line. shame to see talking heads promoting cowardly play like this
After the game was gone, the people were questioning the back up quarterback he was telling him how messed up they didn't wanna game and he looked upset that Anndrea told him we gotta play better. He said he said that didn't play him again it's on the schedule sounds like he wants to get back in. 💛💚🩷 This time put the back up one and then 💛💚🩷
Packers beat the Packers. Once he threw the Pick 6, I knew it was over. That was just inexcusable, just throw it away. I know he panicked in the moment, but you can't do that in the moment. We showed you can run on them, but it doesn't matter when they run up the score.
If he just threw that ball away, and mcmanus made that kick we woulda won and thats PLUS the TD drops. I dont give a fuck what anyone says. They AINT a better team, they just a more disciplined team. 🤷🏻
I don’t think it was fine. They started Jordan. Malik Williams would have done the same or better, but the results would not be different. whether Malik Williams would have won or loss. I put our quarterback at harms way on a game. That is the best one in the NFL to play against the Lions. Malik Williams would’ve been that player that pulled it off. Not taking anything away from Jordan love. Give him time to heal Malik Williams already approved himself.
Lafluer was outcoached again by Ben Johnson. Lafluer is a shrinking violet, a finesse coach and that trickles down to the entire roster. I hate the team gute has built, they’re soft and have no balls. Wake me up in another 10 years or if they ever get it right
It ain’t love fault . Look at all the drops the receivers had. 1 drop should have been a touch down in the middle. Lions offense only score 2 touchdowns, 1 from an easy pick from love . Come on don’t put so much salt in the taco lions 😂
Lov e just can not scramble like Willis Willis has a sense that the pressure is gtreat a nd knows to get out and run. Not Love, He would try to throw the ball and hope someone will catch it. Call him Mr. Turn Over Maube noone told him that he's not suppose to throw interceptions.

Dude, the game was not near as close as the score. Lions could have scored at least two more times. Took the foot off the gas to save the team. Especially in those conditions, not worth the injury. Only GB fans don’t see how much the Lions let up.
Nonsense. without the pick 6 and a missed field goal, the game is a hell of a lot closer. No way Detroit takes their foot off the gas against a division rival.

Colin Cowherd said that Matt Lafluer’s coaching system is perfect for optimizing Jordan Love’s natural gifts. Help me understand something doesn't the team that plays the most efficient clean game usually win? You're trying to spin it like the GB were in this game. GB fans act like this was a last second FG game. This game was literally over in the 3rd QTR. How about just saying Detroit is the better more well coached team. I get being a fan but this idea that GB beat themselves is a joke. In a rainstorm like that with 40+ mph winds it's important to play efficient football not wow football. TB said it best the playcalling was just better and the Lions play/execution was clearly better in some of the worst conditions. In layan's terms Detroit outplayed and smashed GB. Detroit was just as injured missing key players on D yet they found a way. I wonder what will be the execuses will be if the Lions beat GB in Detroit.
💛💚🩷 This time put the back up one and then 💛💚🩷
Packers have household names on that dline and they don’t play like it
Love turnover problem is a serious problem
I don't care what Colin has to say about football period. As farms I'm concerned he doesn't know his head from a football.
Malik Willis and yes, packers would’ve won with Willis. Willis should be the starter
Lafluer was outcoached again by Ben Johnson. Lafluer is a shrinking violet, a finesse coach and that trickles down to the entire roster. I hate the team gute has built, they’re soft and have no balls. Wake me up in another 10 years or if they ever get it right
Let's face it love is not consistent and he's not healthy
Brian branch took 3 steps he deserved to get thrown out
Stop making excuses for Love. A sore leg doesn’t make your brain stop functioning.
Stop with the petty nitpicking
Not open throws it was called drops
It ain’t love fault . Look at all the drops the receivers had. 1 drop should have been a touch down in the middle. Lions offense only score 2 touchdowns, 1 from an easy pick from love . Come on don’t put so much salt in the taco lions 😂
Im kinda tired of them sucking off the lions . The packers played a absolutely horrible game and they doubled the lions yards
We'll see after the Bears beat Packers by14 points. I knew Packer would loose but i thoght they would lose by around 3 points.
Lov e just can not scramble like Willis
Willis has a sense that the pressure is gtreat a nd knows to get out and run. Not Love, He would try to throw the ball and hope someone will catch it. Call him Mr. Turn Over
Maube noone told him that he's not suppose to throw interceptions.
It was pretty late? He hit one second after the ball was dropped.
Everything is always all right when Green Bay is doing good. But I mean none of you that have these UA-cam videos give him a break. I know everything will change when they come back and play. There will be getting all this awesome news from you UA-camrs UA-camrs.I have faith that my team the Green Bay Packers they are allowed to have their ups and downs. They have their ups everybody’s crazy in them and they have their downs so much criticism. Kinda like your own lives.
Malik should have started the game. Thos conditions would have been perfeft for rpo's nd shit
Dude, the game was not near as close as the score. Lions could have scored at least two more times. Took the foot off the gas to save the team. Especially in those conditions, not worth the injury. Only GB fans don’t see how much the Lions let up.
Dan Campbell is always full throttle dude!
Nonsense. without the pick 6 and a missed field goal, the game is a hell of a lot closer. No way Detroit takes their foot off the gas against a division rival.
Wicks needs to be benched
So many Dropped passes
We are lucky Love missed 2.5 games. Otherwise the score would be 3-6. Trade him until it's too late.
🧢
I’m glad my team lost. It will give them a wake up. Call. To think the way they have been playing was gonna beat. The Lions is a joke. Now they know.
Another thing on the ejection, branch got up & started jawing at the sideline, flexing, showing no remorse & he was happy, 100% deserved
Give me a break. Ejection was soft. All of the players talk trash and hit hard. It’s football. End of the day. Didn’t help your team win
Remorse? Did you ever play football, other than recess?
Clifford 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀
Trash every game Jordan intercept....Bull shit..Packers reciever had too many drop balls..
Ducks are hard to catch
Colin Cowherd believes that Jordan Love is ready to win the MVP award in 2024, and that he’s excited to see a new face to win the MVP award after years of going to Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, and Aaron Rodgers. Colin Cowherd also believes that Jordan Love’s young receivers, tight ends, and offensive linemen will help him have a strong season. Colin Cowherd said that Matt Lafluer’s coaching system is perfect for optimizing Jordan Love’s natural gifts. Colin Cowherd also said that he never doubted that Jordan Love would turn out to be a good quarterback, and that he’s ecstatic that Packers fans won’t have to deal with poor quarterback play. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
is this AI?
CC is usually wrong. Love is shit and everyone not living in fantasy land knows it
Help me understand something doesn't the team that plays the most efficient clean game usually win? GB didn't hold Detroit to anything the weather did that.
If only the Packers had a decent backup QB..........oh, wait.
You would not agree with the ejection if it wasn’t against your team.
This. Tough to be objective for many people. He shouldn’t have been ejected.
It was a dirty hit , no matter what team is playing , it was the right call.
Start Malik
I just want to say sorry from you on your attacking and God that delete it. I am not gonna message. I'm sick of Siri. 💛💚💛💚
Bruh nobody cares ab wat this dude has to say he don’t know ball he think he do and believes people care wat he has to to say when In reality he only talk ab wat people wanna hear
Jordan was awful
He did NOT deserve ejection. Youre a clown.
loves sucks willis is in!!!
Man I love yo content but please believe in our QB I know we looked sloppy but trust me we needed this lost I believe in our coach our gm our DC our team and our locker room we got to have some adversity don't forget we still a young team we got to learn every way to lose so we can know every way to win we the mf PACKERS baby we destined for Greatness trust me we needed this lost to build the hatred for Detroit to make our football skin tougher so embrace the hurt #PackerWorld we can take it and we will be better from this so don't fall in those traps of disbelief this our team love is our QB and they will get us to the Superbowl 😤😤😤😤😤😤💚🪙💚🪙💚🪙💚🪙💚🪙💚🪙 yo packer bro #MrGreenBayAllDayAllTheWayFromLATay
Lol love is shit he was just lucky for a few games last year
We 6-3 relax
You crazy. I can tell you never played football. These grown men can’t stop running full speed. Branch isn’t a dirty player. Should’ve been 15 yarder at best. Gb got beat. Point blank period. At some point you have to accept that. Despite the horrible ejection
Bench him
Bruh nobody cares ab wat this dude has to say he don’t know ball he think he do and believes people care wat he has to to say when In reality he only talk ab wat people wanna hear like please stop making vids on this dude it’s a waste of ur time
By rule he was ejected because Branch had time to adjust.
Trade Love, keep Willis
