Whilst I agree with you on so many levels, for those who are fasting for autophagy, taking amino acids during their fast will throw them out of deep ketosis and reduce if not stop autophagy. It won’t spike insulin, so if they are fasting just for fat burning, they don’t need to worry. But for autophagy, NO protein or amino acids during fasting. They should just be sure to get a lot of extra protein when they break their fast. Thank you very much Gary for everything you do and for sharing all this great data, I really appreciate you so much. Just wanted to clarify this.

I was really interested in Gary Brecka's supplements, but his company won't advise on which supplements to take without buying his genetic testing, which costs waaaaay more than the genetic testing I already had done. I'm not going to get re-tested just to buy his stuff. It's more than frustrating. I didn't think he was in it for the money, but I guess he is.

What sleep app do you use to monitor? You should check your vocal chords with an ENT. Maybe polyps. Voice super horse. Just check. Easy fix

I'm assuming you're just talking about carbonated sparkling water. What about mineral water?
I fast from 2pm to 6am each day. I have noticed that a few times during the month I will have dinner with friends (breaking my fast) and when I do try to get back to fasting the next day I will wake up with terrible reflux. It normally happens about 12 to 13 hours into my fast (around 3am). It will violently wake me up with a terrible burning in my throat (bile) and will cause me to have trouble going back to sleep. It normally only happens the first evening after restarting my fast. It does not have to do with the food I eat because I am very conscious of what I am eating. Any tips beside dont break my fast!:)

Reflux nearly always has to do with the food you’re eating and just because you think you’re eating the right things that doesn’t mean you are - just a thought.
Another thing to consider is the Circadian nature of digestion. If your body is not accustomed to having to digest at this time of the day, then you throw a meal at it (regardless of the content), it may be equivalent to you waking up in the middle of the night and eating a full meal. It definitely wouldn’t sit well. Not an expert, but some bread crumbs for you to follow as you try to solve this. Good luck.

Its not that difficult. People have been eating for millions of years. Look to nature for your answers. These guys are constantly changing their stance on things. Just because they can rattle off a bunch of nonsense doesnt make them correct. There's not anything "new" to living a healthy life.
