- What a perfect day to go up into the Appalachian Mountains to fish a crystal-clear river. It was early spring, and the water is still pretty cold, but the beautiful fish are there.

I usually watch your videos for the fishing but I must admit I watched this one for the scenery. What an absolutely beautiful river!!!!!
I absolutely love that river!! It never fails to provide at least one good spot and has a ton of Coosa bass. I’ve never fished the Tennessee end of it though. I may have to go for it this year. Thank you again my friend in Christ for your amazing work
Mountain fishing is simply second to none! Lakes or streams.
You get isolation, solitude and epic adventures. Often due to it's remote nature you can find phenomenal fishing! It's my absolute favorite.

I got almost the same exact spinnerbait, grabbed it online thanks to a recommendation from Frank Scalish last year. I've built a couple of my own since then. Supposed to be good for cold water, since you can slow roll it.
I sure didn't want this video to end, love the drone footage so beautiful how God craved that stream through the mountains, the sounds of the creek is very relaxing, was wondering if you liked the yum dinger hellagramite, that bait bag is well worth it for so many lures, I'm going fishing tomorrow after work, it's going to the warmest day of week looks like some bad weather is coming in hope it doesn't kill all of the new growth! So I tried my bag. Well some of it. I started out power fishing cus it's my strength. I didn't like the rattling rouge that much it was hard to cast but had ok action. Wish it ran a little deeper .The speed n was really impressive. The war eagle was of course good. Neither caught fish but it's ice out here there not wacotve and very few fish in the system yet. Nest time I'll try the other baits.

Brother John-I crossed the halfway point in this video, but had to stop just long enough to tell you, that those first two Coosa Bass were EASILY the best-looking Coosa Bass, that I've ever seen ANYBODY catch! Great job!

Usually in clear water I use willow blades because they don’t thump as hard and use Colorado blades in stained water, might try to swap if blades out

This winter has been really weird. Last month was really warm, rainy and windy. So far March has been really cold and windy, too windy. I miss fishing my local creek and river.

I can't seem to get any bass to bite this March, caught 1 in January , and almost 10 in February. This weather is making the fish weird where I'm at, keep up the good fishing!!

This time of year in more northern / mountainous types of streams a jig or jigging a medium size crawdad would work little better for the bass .
