One thing I've learned with Walmart brand lures is their smaller lighter ones barely have any action, but once you hit the 1/4-3/8s sizes they work pretty dang good for a 3.50 lure.
Agreed. I was not impressed with the action on this lure but it did seem to catch fish fairly well. I would like to make a few modifications to see if I can get a better action.
I'm confident this lure would catch other species as well. Our water temp is in the mid 30s here currently so the Bass and other sunfish all but shut down and won't often hit a moving lure. I would like to revisit this lure when the water warms up to see how it does Bass fishing.
Awesome video dude. Ultralight ftw!
Their crankbaits are great too. Caught many bass and some huge brown trout on them. Their inline spinners suck. The bigger ones do for sure.
I've had a treble hook snap in half on one of their inline spinners while reeling in a fish. The hooks on this minnow were suprisingly nice.
