This an original narrative fan-created cross-over with characters from the EE Studios / HubNet universe and the Alien franchise -- a "movie made in-Verse" so as not to interfere with existing CIG lore, or the lore of our own storied characters who make an appearance (hint hint).

Imagine how long they had to sit on that landing pad, and wait for fowl weather, then, sun down, just to get that LV-426 type shot. Amazing what this is, considering how little is in the verse, to work with. MORE PLEASE.

Hello as 3.23 just started yesterday I came back here to say YESSSS

It's what we call a "shake and bake" colony"
The reclaimer is such Alien vibes that I would have been disappointed if someone didn’t do this!! Love it!
Fun fact- The artist that designed the reclaimer also worked on Alien Isolation and designed the ship in Alien Prometheus
I'm sure Vasquez would have teamed up with Ava over Vickers. This is incredible. We need more of this type of thing in Star Citizen. Ship wrecks, deserted settlements, and creatures.

When I say this is my favourite bit of Star Citizen content that I’ve ever seen I truly mean it. This is incredible. I was gripped from start to finish. I genuinely forgot I was watching Star Citizen footage and slipped into movie mode. Could happy watch a full feature length version. This. Truly weird disgusting scary aliens. Not just space wolves or space birds.
It doesn’t need xenomorphs, but it does need a stealthy lethal alien that stows away on a ship and tries to kill the whole crew, the gameplay it would add would be amazing.

SC and Aliens.... is an absolute instant win and like 😛
I do hope SC allows for mods on private servers cos the Aliens/Predator/AvP, Star Trek, Star Wars, Terminator, Battlestar Galactica, Buck Rogers mods are going to be epic.... along with the potential for loads more content too
hell I suspect that once SQ42 is released and it shows how good the game is and what can be done, and they look at the PU once it's more refined and stable... I can see a lot of the old franchise holders turning to the StarEngine and CIG, to revive their dying franchises... imagine a game from each of those franchises created like SC has been... or rather with the same scope and attention to detail.....
we are on the precipice of history in the making for the gaming and content world... and while SC as a tool can make those things happen, it's people like yourself who create content of such amazing quality that show's that dreams can evolve far beyond the thought they originated as... wonder could become a reality, and you dont need billions to make an awesome story or saturate things with explosions to get the attention of the viewer...
you just need people who enjoy what they do... and have a dream they wish to share...

@@EE-STUDIOS The fact you will be able to save faces going forward must be a big deal for you right? Raytracing will be nice for you to when that comes, lighting isn't up to scratch at the moment so RT should make a huge difference to the quality of the scenes.
@@daweitao2668 sort of - my staple characters (like Ava - our most well know character) I can make from memory - but yes, for other things, sharing and saving characters will be very handy.

Great job. Excellent sound mixing /editing, coverage, compositing, use of the cam controls (I really hope we get an upgrade for it). Great voice work too.
Chef's kiss to the reaction shot @11:34 & the shot immediately following it. I like the 2 shot in the capt quarters, but it might've been good to mix up the blocking, maybe give the cpt some business w/a coffee cup or something. Kinda hard to do too much w/the cam w/that furniture in there though.

This is f🔥i🔥r🔥e! Perfect use of the Reclaimer. I always loved that ship for exacteley how much it reminds me of the Alien franchise - the interior design with these white "cushions" in the hallway, or the resemblance to the Prometheus with its "arms" on the ground when landing. Great crafting of shots and use of music!

To make this with a buggy, unfinished game is pretty damn awesome! i love how she warns them "needs to be strapped down", Captain "aint nobody got time for that!"... her flexing her skillset of "i can use a ratchet strap and pallets" 😅

Also I totally would volunteer from time to time as a pilot. I'm not the worst in flying decoupled with dual sticks, and I think I could provide a bit smoother take offs and landings. ;)

Perfect! I fully expected the Reclaimer to be the first ship I saw, and that's exactly how I land every time. Next we need a Valkyrie and a Spartan scene, maybe when the new Distribution Centres come along. CIG, motion trackers in SC please!

Absolutely amazing!! Love the Alien franchise, and seeing such a well done machinima is wonderful!
My only complaint would be: I’m guessing we’re to assume she found no other survivors of the crash, but it would’ve been nice to have a few bodies found to kind of show that the poor guy she grabs is the only probable survivor.
Thanks! So (spoiler) if we make another episode, it will be revealed that most of the bodies were cocooned in the salvage hold to feed more face-huggers.

Very nice, more please. I know some people would like SC to be Call of Duty/Fortnite meets Eve online, but I would rather SC be more like Alien/Event Horizon/Pitch Black meets Everquest 2. I saw her with the rifle and she looked familiar and I wondered, "Could that be...?" and she is. Nice.

I can recommend a Cutlass Black as the perfect dropship for the purpose! With side-sliding-doors with machine guns for gunners!
No better ship for a marines-drop-turn than z cutlass, it's smaller than a Corsair - so lil more agile!
